Tom was super fast in getting back to me with info and setting up a consult. He's always on time and ready for our sessions. He gives me lots of useful advice and actually listens to what I'm worried about. His training style is all about being gentle and using rewards with love. I totally recommend K9-Katelynn and Tom for all your training needs.

We think K9Katelynn is really smart and good at what he does. He trained our 3 year old, 105# Bloodhound and she has gotten a lot better at listening and following commands. She feels a lot better around and in the swimming pool now. We really wanted her to know how to get out of the steps if she fell in by accident when we weren't there. His training way is really detailed and he always shows up on time for the training sessions. Thanks, K9Katelynn.

Exselent experience. His training methods are spot on. My pup was potty trained in a week! My pup was always happy to see him and followed his commands easily. In just one session he got my pup to walk on the treadmill with confidence! You take notes at each session for easy reference. And at each session there is always a question or concern time. He makes sure you are correctly training the dog before he leaves! Just a great training experience. Always positive.

is a grate trainer and it is clear from the first session that he can help your family with dedication on your part. He spent about an hour with us at each session, had us take notes, answered questions and gave us the psychology and understanding behind each ***. Within two sessions, we saw our dogs be more focused and less aggressive towards each other. We are so thankful for his lessons, and will continue working with our pups to keep them happy, healthy and engaged!

Don't waste your time. If you're looking for a dog trainer, make sure you do your research because I made that mistake and we got a fraud. He talks a great game and he doesn't know what he's doing. I was looking forward to having our Frenchie trained, but he didn't learn anything after 6 months. We lost a lot of money. He speaks in an aggressive tone to my girlfriend and me. When we expressed our concern, he went off on us. Please don't work with him! He isn't worth the money and time. Make sure you really look into him before you do it!

Todd came to my house twice and both times showed me dog toys and products I should purchase for my dog. Not once did he engage me or my dog in any training activity. Both times he was at the house for about 30 minutes. Their ad says an hour. He didn't even follow the training plan he gave me! I paid him $1000, you have to pay up front of course, and after the second visit realized he wasn't going to be any help in addressing my dog's issues. I contacted him and told him he wasn't helping and asked for a partial refund. Yes, I signed a piece of paper that said there were no refunds but I also expected some training for the fees and there was no training, just recommendations for toys, leashes, and collars. The second visit he suggested having a friend come over to play games with me and my dog! I was looking for help so I could safely take my dog to the dog park so he could play with the other dogs, which he loves to do! He is just terrified of people. I called another trainer, Dianne at Waggin' Train and in the few minutes I was on the phone with her she gave me more helpful information than 2 home visits with Todd. She is half the cost, spent over an hour each time at my home, actually goes with us to the dog park to help correct bad behavior towards people, and has helped make significant progress with my dog. Todd at K9katelynn didn't display an ounce of understanding of dog behavior and actually seemed to be afraid of Scotty. If you're afraid of a dog you should not be talking to anyone about training it, you should decline the job, take the gas money and leave.

Our puppy *** is a very high-energy rescue that was driving us crazy. She would steal anything paper rush to the couch to eat it. Socks would be grabbed, taken outside and she would jump around and throw them in the air. *** was also very aggressive in her play with my wife and would jump on her play bite. We watched many *** videos on how to train her to behave, but she just wasn't responding. My wife was on the verge of saying we needed to take her back to the shelter until we found k9katelyn. We made an appointment with *** came out to speak with us as well as meet ***. We signed the "contract" with him training started the next week. After purchasing the recommended leather leash collar (as opposed to our rope-type *** collar), *** showed us each step of the way for each command and then had us try it as he watched corrected any missteps. Each day we trained her was for 20-minutes at a time with *** on that week's new command and refreshing the commands from the prior weeks. Yesterday was our last training with *** now Heels, Sits, Downs, Stays, Shakes, Places (move to a specific spot stay), as well as Off (to get her front paws off counters, tables, and people). My wife is much happier with *** the fear of having to return her to the shelter is gone. We now have a well-behaved puppy that is fun to be with. We plan to continue working with her so we can take her to stores with us and with friends. She still gets quite excited, but is learning to control herself. We had read some uncomplimentary reviews about ***, and while he does instruct you to take notes (I used my tablet and Bluetooth keyboard), I did find I retained the information better than him just giving us a sheet of instructions to read (how many people read their owner's manuals). He does speak faster than we're used to and my wife had some issues with that, but I would just relay the instructions to her and we were fine. Some reviews said he was rude, but we didn't experience that at all. He was polite calmly answered any and all questions we posed to him. His training is very structured so be mentally prepared to train when he arrives. Our experience was a very positive one, well worth the cost, and we would recommend him to anyone wanting a well behaved dog.

Update: Tom met with my fiancee and I, initial meeting he seemed very rushed. After we paid the training fee, he showed up late and hurried his way though the entire visit. He rattled off a list of training exercises to complete but never showed any hands on training. He listed items he recommended we buy and then said he would contact us a few weeks after to revisit. No response has been given since. Honestly, youtube and tiktok have been more beneficial. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOG TRAINER.

I called Tom for help with my Standard Poodle who numps on people, I told him what I wanted as well as my sisters dog and he acted confident that he would be able to help us. The initial visit was when we were excited for his knowledge and looking forward to his help, we paid him $400.00 and he returned the following week with 2 large bags, set them down and sat down himself and told us we needed paper and pencil to "take notes". I asked if he was going to demonstrate what I should do and he said "no" at that moment I was in disbelief that he didn't have any printed material or demonstration and felt the blow of a Scam! When I emailed him to express my feelings he came back with...let's get something straight and told me to never call or contact him again, like I would ever contact him again! I believe because we live in a metropolitan hi thinks it wont follow him with his Scam. He had clearly no problem taking money and laughing all the way to the bank.
