unethical behavior
I opened a claim on my water heater with AH and they dispatched KS Plumbing.
After their representative reviewed the water heater I was given a price of $788 to
repair. They showed up on 5/28/2019 to repair and after they disconnected the
old water heater and turned off the water they advised us that the new water heater
did not fit and modifications needed to be made. Corey one of the servicemen said
the modifications were not within the scope of their work and AH would not cover them. He said we could hire someone else or they could complete the work fo another
$375.00 on top of the $788! Since we really had no other choice we were forced to pay
the additional money. Calls to Steven Peterson of KS to discuss were not returned.
I would not be surprised if they were doing this to other customers.
