Just In Time Pool & Spa Service

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. The dude finally showed up to check out our pool after we waited a whole 2 weeks without hearing anything from them. I had to reach out to them myself to see what was going on. So, he arrives, spends a measly 5 minutes here, and then just hops back into his car and takes off. Didn't even bother to talk to anyone in the house or let us know he was leaving. The service was absolutely terrible. And to top it off, we didn't get a call back until 5:15pm, even though he was here at 10am.

I don't recommend them at all. I hired them to send a technician to my house to check my hot tub. (The hot tub was left behind when we bought this house.) The tech came, took off the cover, and said there was no problem with the hot tub, just a breaker issue. I decided to sell the hot tub because I didn't want to deal with the outdoor electrics. The buyer, who was an electrician, found out that the motor had caught fire and there was a wire not even plugged in. I contacted Just In Time Pool & Spa, sent them pictures, and they said they would refund the money I paid for their tech. It's been over a month now, and I called them again, but they said they're "out of checks". A proper company shouldn't run out of checks. Don't waste your money on this scam of a "company".

We used Just In Time for 2 years to open and close our pool. In the spring of 2019, we had them open the pool that they closed in the fall. They turned it into a 2-day opening and left around 8 rubber plugs in the skimmers and lines. The pool couldn't clean up properly. By mid-June, a motor burned out because we found a plug in one of the motors. We had to buy a new motor, a 1 1/2 Pentair. Barrington Pools charges the same amount but does a much better job.

I never got a bill or statement from your company showing what services were done and how much I owe. I got a voicemail and called to talk about it. They said I had to talk to the boss and they took my info and said they would call me back. But they never did.

But then I got a notice from another company saying I owe $1,067.09, even though we agreed it would only be $240.53 before the work was done. I talked to the people in charge of collecting the money and I'm arguing that I don't owe that much.

When I talked to Cassie, she said the worker messed up and thought that because the work order said "warranty," any extra fees were already approved by the warranty company or me as the homeowner. As a business owner, you need to take responsibility for your employees and your company's reputation. You can't just charge me an extra $826.56 without getting approval for the work. So it's not my fault and I shouldn't have to pay for their mistakes. If someone had called me back, we could have talked about this professionally and figured out the best way to fix the problem. But since no one from your company ever contacted me, I was expecting to get a bill in the mail. But that never happened and now my account is in collections.
