I had my 3 free oil change (other problems with JiffyLube and this was my last) and they wanted to add an additive. Unaware, it was TrueBrand fuel juels and they said my car really needed. My car is well maintained and low miles and has a fuel filter built in the tank. After the service, I drive about 20 miles and the alarms went off and the check engine light came on. I had a diagnostic twice and the reads the Fuel Additives juels are causing Catolyst code and there is an issure with the catolyst converter. I have to take it to the dealer. Several certified mechanica have said that Jiffy Lube should never added the fuel additive to my car.
Claimed loss: Unable to use eyesight , cruse control and others (s) due to issues to the catalyst issue. The check engine light remains on.
Desired outcome: Jiffy Lube needs to pay for fixing my car.
