Exam and assignments results
Still waiting for April assigments an June exam results. Calling twice a week and not getting answers. Sending weekly emails with no responses. Intec id pathetic!

We have been wanting to deregister my fiancé from INTEC College due to the poor support, mentorship and assistance in his studies. He has been a student at INTEC since last year July and has yet to receive any learning material or support to help him complete his studies. He has been unable to register or write his exams as a result of receiving no grades on assignments that were to give him access into examinations. We have tried emailing and calling multiple times to receive no feedback, placed on hold, transferred to a dead end and phone calls rejected. We would like to deregister him and receive a full 100% feedback.
Please may you urgently advise.

Student Portal, Student results, exam registration and service
I registered my son for his N1 Diesel Mechanic course with Intec this year 2021. When we registered I asked them if he will be able to do 2 of his N's in one year and they promised that it will be possible. Then the internal exams was moved to July/Aug so he was unable to do so. Then there is queries about his mid-term exams that he wrote as on one of the test there was one graph missing so he was unable to answer any of the questions on it and even after numerous queries I still have not received any feedback. Now he needs to register for his end exams but i do not have any results for him so I can't register his. And all they send me is that if he does not register by the 22nd of Oct its not their fault. But in honesty it is their fault as since he started with them we don't get any service and the worse for me is that they blame Covid for everything, even for the fact that they can't do their work. This is unexceptable...

Course cancellation delay
I've registered with intec in 2019 and then COVID 19 happened and then I was required to write exams in other provinces of which I also had to pay extra R 250 for access and when I checked the timetable the main module wasn't on the timetable and when I sent an e-mail regarding the issue I wasn't given any feedback till today so I filed for course cancellation in 2020 but I was never given a feedback but I get monthly fee statement but my cancellation is never processed and when I call them they just put me on hold or tell me they'll get back to me as they didn't receive any documents from me of which they don't and I've sent all the required documentation but still my matter is not taken into consideration.
Desired outcome: To cancel the course and refund me my cash
Examination payments
I have written several emails until today's no one is telling me what is going on because I didn't get my june results I emailed the proof of payment which they said I didn't pay but till now I didn't get any respond from the college

Poor service/not wanting to refund my money due to me
I had requested a cancellation on 24 August 2020 and only received the cancellation forms on 15 September 2020. It is now the 13th of October 2021. This is a whole year later.
Throughout this whole ordeal I've not once had access to any study material as I had no access to my student portal. Since 12 March 2020 I had been sending emails stating that I kept having issues logging and that I kept getting an error message (please see attached). By 10 June 2020 this was still not resolved, that is basically 3 months later (please see second email attached).
It took 6 months to change over from INTEC bookkeeping short course certificate to the certificate in ACCOUNTING NQF 5 course. There were also endless struggles regarding my funds that needed to be transferred from Damelin to INTEC. In all this time my STUDENT PORTAL was still not sorted out so I could study.
Eventually I was able to log on to my student portal in June 2020, I then requested some help regarding my assignments and examinations etc which once again was endless issues. The 30th of June 2020 (same month of finally having access to the student portal) I lost my job and had asked Fathima Ballim if my studies could be placed on hold until I had found a job and she said it was fine. Up until this point I still had not had any form use of what the college has to offer. (What has been paid for was for nothing).
About 3 weeks later I received a threatening and rude phone call stating that if I do not pay for my studies I will get handed over to the lawyers. I then explained to the lady that I do not have a job and she said I need to go to the police station to get an affidavit stating I no longer have a job. Because this happened, I requested, via emails and phone calls, to have my studies cancelled completely rather. I have encountered too many issues, rudeness and no responses both, from Damelin and Intec. I cannot be struggling like this.
I would definitely not be recommending any family or friends to study through Damelin or Intec. Please have this seen to immediately else I will be taking this further as this is unacceptable.

No Response to Outstanding Exam Results
I was advised that my October / November 2020 exams would have to be carried over to June / July 2021 due to COVID in our household.
I then registered this year with my proof of payment for October / November 2020 exams, as it was carried over to this year.
It appeared that this was accepted as I received my exam timetable for June / July 2021, which confirmed my exam dates and timeslots. If this was not accepted, why then supply me with exam confirmation and allow me to write exams...
I was not informed that any ADDITIONAL fees were to be paid or outstanding.
Recently I received an invoice from INTEC, advising that I need to make payment of an outstanding amount. (Where did this amount come from) I am however not prepared to pay the outstanding fee as I was not informed thereof and my exam timetable served as confirmation and acceptance that I was indeed registered to write exams this year.
When I initially contacted Intec about the COVID situation, I spoke to a branch manager, a caucasian male, which confirmed that my exams and exam fees would be carried over to June / July 2021 and he assured me that this issue would be resolved.
I have sent emails to have this issue resolved and obtain my exam results, but without success. INTEC really hasnt been helpful over the years, not in any way.

Request for termination
Enroll last year December waited over 2 month to obtain a student number and proof of enrollment. Later escalated my portal had not been working and didn't receive the necessary information to complete tasks. I have escalated numerous times and I have received no feedback and was told its covid I must understand. I am now waiting for intec college to terminate my studies as I no longer find it fruitful to continue a course where I recieved no assistance or support. I have sent multiple emails pleading with them to assist. Instead I rather receive a month call from collections advising me when payment will be made but every month I am being debited. I find it was upsetting and annoying that all they want to do is recieve money but do not give me the necessary support it's been almost 3 months and still no feedback. The collections department advise they cannot assist or escalate as they a different entity and not associated with intec college. I find that rather strange.
Till to date no one is able to assist and managers are too busy

Service
Intec ask me to redo some of my assignments and i did it and send it back for remark on 2020/11/18 and i phoned a few times already and talked to someone on Intec Facebook to help me get my marks and still no response. My work depends on my marks and my certificate because i work at a preschool. I did my Course with someone i worked with and she got her things. This is the worst service i got. I will never recomend Intec College for anyone. It is a year back when i send my work foe remark but no one wants to help me.

Have not received my diploma certificate
I have completed my Human Resources Management Diploma course almost a year ago and still awaiting my certificate.
I have sent numerous emails and tried calling them but fail to get through.
I keep receiving a response that my certification is under verification.
I mean how long does it take?
I have tried applying for jobs but I am always unsuccessful due to no certification. I have also tried apply to other colleges to study a degree in HR but they cannot accept me as I do not have my certificate.
I have asked them to at least send some sort of proof on a letter saying that I have completed my HR Diploma with them, but still no response at all.
This is really hindering my way forward in my career and education.

Being threatened
I am not happy with one of the agents who called me and threatened me and told me that he will make sure that I don't get a job for the next 6 years and that I am nothing but just a debtee to him.This agent was very patronizing and I did note to him that I do not appreciate how I am being spoken to.
Higher diploma human resources development
Im so sad and disappointed i have wasted 2years of my life with intec college. I was fighting for my results this whole year.finally i got my results and noticed i failed 2 subjects so i asked for marked scripts but where not provided i than asked for remarking and was told it R600 per subject and i was supposed to query results within 30days after writing exams as for that where how was i supposed to know that i have failed. It i stated that a student must be informed of the policy which i was not informed before hand only now that i query the results. It is not my problem that intec took so long the dont follow any procedures and policies that they put in place. I want all my money back for all the emotional distress that they put me through i want nothing to do with intec anymore

No feedback nor assistance

I received an November exam invite, I tried numerous time to contact the person assigned to me for assistance and also copied in the academic support to find out if it would be possible to write the exam in June as both my fathers passed away 3 months apart this year and I am not as prepared as I wished to be, but Nobody is responding or answering their phones... I cannot study without knowing what the heck is going on, there are minimal tot none commutation, and I paid them R15 000 but feels like it was a total waste because there are NO assistance and I don't know what is going on.

Psycology diploma that I have tried to cancel
I registered in September 2020. I submitted multiple assignments. I asked repetitively for feedback and marks. They ignored me and did not mark my assignments. In June 2021 I requested a cancellation. Again, numerous requests for feedback and assignments still not marked. They removed their debit order when I put in the cancellation. In August I recieved a letter stating that they would cancel the account if I paid them a rather large sum of money. According to them they had fullflled their legal obligations. I called and asked if marking assignments was a legal obligation according to their contract, they confirmed it was. I argued the cancellation decision, insisting on a refund for the money I paid as they wasted my time and my money and did not provide the service I had paid for. More requests for feedback followed. 01/10/2021 I recieved a call from lawyers stating that INtec had handed over my account for non payment. They had not contacted me in all this time to say anyhting about payment. I called the call centre, they left me on hold for 10min. I called twice more, trying to speak to their cancellations department. I was told by the extremely rude representative to wait on the line. I tried to speak to their collections department and was told that they could not help me. They are ruining my credit rating and that of my husband and they keep extending the estemated time for an answer on the matter. They refuse to assist with anything and just keep telling me to call the next week. I have all the emails and also a detailed list of the dates of all correspondence.
Desired outcome: I want the account closed without further payment and the damage to my credit score fixed and if possible a refund.

Portal not equipped for paid course

From the onset of my daughters enrollment onto online study - I advised that her MYTIME Portal is showing Engineering then the needed Psychology.
With screenprints and emails send - The portal remains unchanged.
'I' had to make her an Assignment plan - with dates when expected. I am sure you can appreciate I am frustrated at this - with the overall service and support from INTEC non existant - I feel 'we' are finding our way in the dark, with no promised support.

Assignment , examination results and a blank student portal
Good morning.
I submitted an assignment last year in April but still have not received my results.
I wrote 3 modules in June but still have not received my exam results, they said the results will be released on the 10th of September but NOTHING.
The student port says I am not enrolled at Intec wow studying in this college is mentally and emotionally draining.

Waiting now more then a year for my refund
In August 2020, I desided to enroll with INTEC for a Legal Course, I paid my deposit on the 24 August 2020 but due to Covid they took so long to register me that I've cancelled on 10 October 2020 still not registered.
They told me that the my money will be in my bank account in 90 days...but it is now 10 September 2021, eleven months later and I still don't have my money.
I have send now more then 100 emails and only received like 5 responses to tell me that I am on the shortlist but with no date given as to when I can expect MY money.
I never in my life dealt with such an incompetent institution and I will strongly advise everyone against enrolling with them or do any sort of business with them.
I do now see this as theft because where is my money, I have cancelled before I was registered so according to me my money must be lying as a credit in there bank account.
If only I saw this page before I gave my money to INTEC, it would've saved me my money and so much data.
My next step is to go to their head office and sit there until I get my money.

Absolutely appallingly - Such poor service levels!
I am a student with Intec since 2020
I was advised by Intec Student/Academic support department on the 23rd of August that exam results for June 2021 will be released on the 28 August 2021. I followed up on the 30th of August since I did not receive results and I was advised by Intec Student/Academic support department on the 3rd of September that my account is in arears, in order for exam department to release my results I must make my account up to date or contact accounts department . When I followed up with Credit Operations Team in CPT on the 3rd of September I was advised July debit order was reversed and to do a follow up with bank. I never received communication or a follow up from Intec accounts department stating technical issues/problems about the debit order. My account is always paid timeously and up to date! I phoned the accounts department in DBN also on the 3rd of September and spoke to a lady who said that she will investigate further. I sent proof of payments for June, July and August which was successful to the Credit Operations Team in CPT (Head Office) and mentioned that there is no failed transactions on bank account in the past 90 days! When I followed up again later in the day on the 3rd of September, the lady from the DBN branch further mentioned that my Intec account is up to date! The Credit Operations Team in CPT mentioned that once they receive clarity from the debit order department they will escalate the case to the exams department to assist with exam results. To date I have not received feedback from them. I do not understand what clarity, when it was confirmed telephonically with me, and the lady from the DBN branch checked with Intec debit order department that there is no outstanding payment and furthermore I submitted proof of successful payment!
I followed up with the lady from the DBN branch on the 6th of September, she mentioned she has no further feedback and in the process of escalating further. On the 7th of September the lady from the DBN branch advised that there is a problem with the debit orders for Intec which is being investigated, once its rectified she will provide further feedback. I don't understand how when the debit order for fees was deducted from bank account for August already, if there was a problem it would have not gone through? Such incompetence! There is no reason to hold back my June results
On the 7th of September I received communication from Intec that the formative and summative statement of results will be released on Friday, 10th September. The delay is pending approval of combined marks. Clearly I think this is not true since the information from DBN branch and CPT do not tie up and they are short staffed due to the work. Intec never fails to debit my bank account for fees but fail to provide a service. No creditability as an institution of quality learning and nothing but endless hassles and struggles. Intec college is truly a disgrace!

Poor service and continual deductions even after numerous cancellation
I applied for studies at Intec and paid 3000 cash they took 4months to send study material and I could no longer look forward to studying with them, I sent cancellations via email but they persistent in attempting to debit my account and take my money there correspondence is very weak.their people don't call back . they are not interested in assisting whether via email or telephone and take long to answer when they are called.they spam call everyday but no-one talks.It seems no-one their is interested in addressing this issue.im a poor man earning peanuts but they keep on deducting for something I don't receive any returns from.this is theft and they are crooks.i wanna everyone about their methods to con desperate people
