I applied at Intec College last year, April 2017. The course that I applied for was civil engineering but I changed it to creative writing as I was struggling to much with the civil engineering course. I also had no subjects related to civil engineering on school, I would still though pursue that dream someday but obviously not at Intec College, the service is totally and extremely poor.

I changed the course in the beginning of this year, just so late January 2018 and send the documents on the 2nd of February 2018. Ever since February I have been in contact with Warren, Henk, a lady with a muslim name, Shakeel, Shakier, Ivor and Candice. I keep on sending the same docs to Intec and they keep on asking for the same documents. You guys should be ashamed of yourself, you have no customer service whatsoever! I paid my money in full right from the beginning. The process went smooth when I applied but now when I want to change my course you are not to be found, you don't respond to any emails. I honestly regret applying at this College and I wish that God punish all of you involved!

What do you think of yourselves, why work if you cant deliver a service? Do you think that I have money to go to your Cape Town branch whenever I can or come to your offices. I hope you feel good about yourselves. You are pathetic! All of you!

I did not write my computer practice test in April because Intec did not provide Damelin with the additional information. I was promised by Dylan and Ali that I will be in credit and don't have to write the test. This was agreed upon. However, I am getting SMS's from the accounts department that I am owing for the test. I have sent emails to Ali, Dylan and Candice and left messages. Nobody is bothering to get the matter sorted. This is so wrong that no one thinks this should be sorted. I am very upset with the service from Intec as if one is not paying expensive fees as it is.

I changed course in January 2018, I only recieved my studh material mid April. They sent out notifications about exam registrations. I filled in the form and sent it back, one of the student advisors phoned me and told me that I am not eligable to write the exams as I did not submit an assignment before the due date so they can't register me for the exam. A month later my bank tells me I am listed on ITC for exam fees. After Intec told me that I can't register for the exam. How is this possible. I requested to cancel the course with no response.

I have never in my life experienced worse service than by Intec College, and that includes going to government departments.

I call no one answers. I email and no one replies. I registered with intec to study Accounting, and made a large number of payments. unfortunately my father passed away and I could no longer pay student fees. So I requested that to cancel my studies.
The process of cancelling took forever, and in this time intec requested a large number of fees for the months that they took to cancel the studies. And now it seems that the fees have just accumulated. I have requested many times for someone to help me with the cancellation process and to look at the fees owed. But no response it has been 2 years now.

Really really disappointed.

PLEASE GET BACK TO ME.!

I recently did a course through Intec collage and sent in all assignments required now that I want my results and certificate they say my course is incomplete and must pay for an extension to submit assignments I already have this is day light robbery and 9 out of 10 they will get away with it and I will just have to loose thousands of rands as I took a study loan to do the course and now noo money and no certificate.

Soon after i registered my dad Ha's a stroke, was struggling to make payments... Didn't even submit one assignment or write exam... Since we in and out of hospitals... I'm the only one working at home... Have to take care of everything and evrronry. After my dad's passing...i told them again that the situation is worse now, we do not receive his grant money anymore, n my mom is Also not well im the breadwinner at home. I am struggling, i cannot afford. Now they rude over the phone telling me that they going blacklist me.

I do not afford, the situation does not allow me.they can even check me at the berau. It is bad, we struggling at home

i have still waiting that some intec college contact me about my course i have send 9 times cancellation letter seems no read or willing to answer you back intec college ask me 80% of my money i want all my money in full R16281 not cent less i have enroll for course 15 may and seems the course is not right so i have transfer on 15 june 2018 to electrical current and the problem you must buy books what is extra ! costing is almost R900 and on exam i didn`t ask for exam fee

please is not taking so long to give my money back not 90 day ! almost Chirstmis !

Hi I have apparently been handed over to the lawyers by intec due to not paying. There was no contact with me whatsoever. No phone call no email nothing. I did not even receive all my study material and this is since 2015. I only realized I was handed over when I did a credit check and credit check states NU ( not updated) since then. Intec service is not up to standard and I feel I'm being unfairly treated. I now have to pay R13900 to clear it up, without even doing a course.

I wanted to study online due to my work situation a lady at intec college was assisting me with my registration
The registration fee was R4000, 00 and there after R735, 00 per month
I was told that everything thing will be done online except my exams will have to be written at a school which I didn't have a problem with.

Once I paid the R4000.00 I received a email from intec telling me that 3times a week I will have to go to a school for lessons
Which I was not aware of before registration
And R1505.00 was being debated of my account by intec every month

They sent me a exam time table for the first term but did not send me my books and study materials

I called the lady that did my registration about the fees and going to school 3times a week her reply to me was "sorry I was not aware of this" I asked for a cancellation and refund till today I got no refund and they want to charge me 80% of my deposit which is not fare on my side had I known about all of this I would of not registered with intec

It's been 5months now that they have been sending me in circles

I wrote my Matric through Intec College in 1998/1999, and i never received my Matric Certificate, i wrote it in Durban, moved to Krugersdorp, i still have my student number and i am still on their system but they cant give me any information, not if i passed or failed or where to get my Certificate nor the subjects that i wrote, i dont have my exam number after all these years so i cant check with Department of Education, i need someone to assist me with getting my Certificate

good day i have problem in 15 may 2018 i have take out mechanical draught diploma but seems the course what you have on it i did`nt do any of it on my matric certificate so i have transfer my course the electrical heavy current but you must buy the books and it cost lost of money to buy some pdf file have spelling mistake on so i have try to open study portal buy you must 30 days to get the password yesterday i have decide to cancel all my course and want every drop of my money back because every time you call your student support don`t want to answer back your you must 3 hours on prepaid phone to get when the person answer you read your student no invalid if you read other student no invalid i am still waiting for 90 day s money you all the years i have was intec college your service is very very poor you must 90 day to get your money come on is not so take long i didn`t register for exam credit operation team want to deducted to write exam when cancel my course ! no one response to my letter i have enough

Hi i am a new student at intec, i have been having so much trouble with this college, assignment that dont get received or marked assignment that dont come back and money for my exams that dont get allocated after i transfered it and then you still want to debit order it again. I have been phoning in so many times trying to sort out this problems and everyone i speaks to makes empty promises to me and i am sick of this

I am a student at Intec college, my id [protected] Portia thobajene. I was struggling with my assignments for the Industrial& organizational psychology course that I was busy with. after several attempts to get assistance from the Branch in Benoni and student support at head office I had to stop paying and not continue with my course now I am told I have to pay the balance, problem in this matter is I did not stop paying because I am no longer interested in the course but I did not see any reason continuing to pay while I do not have the support from intec.in this regard I need either my money back paid to intec so I can register somewhere else or intec to re-instate my studies and be available to assist with my assignments.

hope to hear from intec soon before I take this matter to Ombudsman

My name is ZonJa Jordaan and I am a student at Intec studying Early Childhood development.
I was since informed that I have passed all of my subject with a grade average off 77.4% but two of my section were incomplete and will be sent back to me to correct. Thereafter I can resubmit them to be marked.
Since then I have emailed numerous times and called in regards to the sections that I am waiting for with my tutorial notes have not been sent back. After every attempt to contact Intech they simply reply that it has been passed on to the proper department for evaluation but it was been approximately 9 months.
Since then my course on Early Childhood Development level 4 expired. I've made countless of queries to Intec to be granted an extension which I also still have not been responded to.
Without these two sections that still need to be marked I cannot be granted my certificate.
I've worked hard on obtaining this certificated will working full time and because they can't find the material to post back to me, or grant me an extension, I cannot appeal to them to mark those subjects.
I am appalled on the way they are treating this matter as it seems like because they received their fees they aren't in any rush to assist me.
I can't possible think that it takes 9 months for someone to either grant an extension, appeal or post back materials. Something is happening and I am not getting the adequate help that has been promised to me. I am not located in Cape Town where their main offices are therefore I cannot go in and correct this matter in person.

I don't like wasting my money. Intec College is a many making scheme that takes advantage of people who aspire to educate themselves. I have been calling weekly, threatening, shouting, BEGGING and I have still not recieved the service I have paid for since July 2018. So now I have to cut my losses. Forget about the moneg and hard work I put into this certificate.

So I have been trying to get updated study material since November 2017, I have called almost twice every single week, no one gets back to me, no one has phoned me not one email no feedback, every single time I call its the same story we will escalate the call centre is the most unhelpfull people I have ever dealt with my course was paid in full and now I am struggling to get books this is ridiculous I have no idea what to do anymore, i have requested managers to contact me I have requested to speak to a manager and I have never been helped, waiting on study material for almost seven months now

I wouldnt recommend this collage to anyone and i feel sorry for the students that are studying with this collage, i have been having problems with them from the beginning .I wrote my first exam with them and i questioned there marking because the marks allocated just didnt make sense i quaried this with the collage and they said those are the marks, i later received the statement and it didnt have my assignment mark i quaried that too and they said i didnt submit my assignment whereas i did, i sent them proof and the mark allocated for the assignment and they said its wrong it didnt corrospond with what they had, but they said i didnt submit it .I requested to speak to someone senior and they sent me to lizel van biene (academic business manager ) who called me and told me that they had issues with the way everything was marked which was really not making sense to me, i then decided to cancel the course in october 2017 im still waiting for their department to respond even now in march 2018 and the have been debiting my account every month and sending me statement that im owning them, i called again to query this talked to christelle mac min who was helpful just when i thought ill get this resolved she then sent it to charne swartz (client liason officer) who told me to wait another 2-3 working weeks for them to assist me .I have had enough of them i dont think its fair for me to be treated like this, i was only trying to better myself by getting a qualification not being robbed by this collage

Ok I registered with antic college in jan 2018 for ecd. The consultant was very helpful at that time. So now I decided to change my course and I didnt do any work or even submit anything. So filled a form online that says enquire about a subject so filled the form and than after 30 minutes a consultant calls : so I tell her my story that im already with antic I just want to change my course so she asked who was my student consultant I told her cheryl. She than said hold the line will transfer you and than she hungup on
Basically the second consultant did the same thing. Tried calling the head office lines are always busy and tried student support still lines were busy since last week im doing this. Now im sick and tired so want to be taken out of antic college and want my refund. I need to go to another institute. I didnt want to leave I only wanted help to change the course since noone is willing to help I want to leave. Antic is tooo frustrating.

Hi. I was very much interested in studying with intec college even after my brother was disappointed I gave it benefit of the doubt. I've sent several emails since December last year and waiting for consultant to call or respond to my email but dololo. My brother also received a bad service years back when he was studying with you, you never sent him his study materials in the middle of the term and the fees were paid. He called countless times and was promised to sort things out till today he's still waiting for your call but the money is gone. This is 965865% bad service

I am not happy, and have put a stop on my payment to intec for the following reasons:

1. The course I choose was not explained to me properly
2. I have been trying to get hold of a consultant over the phone to help me to no avail.
3. I keep being transferred to someone else.
4. The course I am not is not registered or recognized
5. I was not made aware of cut off dates
6. I was not informed that I would only be able to write next year and not this year.
7. I have emails between the consultant and myself where I had asked these questions and no help or answer was given.
8. I was told to buy texts books, when in the registration forms I was told intec supplied all study material?

What am I paying for every month? I have not defaulted on any payment leading up to now. I have been trying for months to get the proper procedure explained to me and no such luck.

This is my termination of studies with intec. I would like my money back as this has been a waste of time. I have gotten no where.
