IFB Industries Replacement of washing machine{AW7233}

Dear Ma'am/Sir
I am Hina Tejwani from East of kailash, New Delhi.This is to inform you that i had bought a IFB washing machine model no.AW7233 from Unique Electronics, central market just four months back on 29 January 2010. I have launched complaints regarding this machine to the customer care almost every month .My customer ID is 2199539 and my complaint no. are 4206810.{near by 28 Feb 2010, 4354228 {last week of March 2010}, and now latest is 4427303 on 25 April 2010.Every time the PCB part is not performing .I had a talk with the service provider named Mr.Gaurav no.{[protected]} also he behaves rudely on the phone and i feel he must learn first how to talk to the customers .
. This is my humble request to IFB company that instead of mending the machine please consider this case to replace this time for customer's well being.

IFB Industries worst service

Worst machine
We bought an IFB washing machine( Senator DX, customer ID- 2140130) on DECEMBER 2009...over a month of time it got repair...i have made all most 6 complaints calls..its just a 3 months old machine, service people came and changed the motor and interface PCP board, like a trial and error, they does not know the exact problem in the machine and solution for it..even after changing still its in problem...after changing the motor and pcp board, i have made 2 complaint calls for replacement, still their are not ready to take the replacement complaint into action.. we bought it for 24, 890, we have not used it even for a month...we are requesting for replacement but they reply too harsh in customer care ([protected])...we struggled and got a contact number for replacement department ([protected]/12/13), but no one is attending the call for service.

IFB Industries onoff switch damaged due to heating

I have registered a complaint on 9th march to the company .
Complaint No.-4236427
Our complaint was forwarded to Mr. K.P. Aggarwal who told that the switch required to replace the damaged switch for our model is not available with them.We have purchased the IFB dishwasher in the year 2002, Model-"Classic".
The onoff switch is damaged due to heating and now we are not able to get it replaced since it is not available in the company itself.There has been no further action taken by the company to solve our problem.
kindly look into our matter and provide the required part to be replaced.

My Dish washer was working perfectly alright till a few days ago when it started making loud abnormal sounds all towards the end.Company service people attended twice, but were unable to recrtify the problem.Kindly advice.

my dishwasher is not working and i have made 80 calls to the service centre in faridabad since the past 15 days and they are not repairing the same and giving me some excuse everyday.the dishwasher is under warranty.please look into the matter and revert soon

IFB Industries Pathetic Service

This is with reference to complaint 3583867 raised in the month of end October 2009. My washing machine developed a snag in the month of October (when my machine was under warranty), I raised a complaint and one of your service executives came and fixed the problem saying everything else was OK with the machine, 2 weeks down the line, the machine stopped working with the same fault (when the machine was not under warranty), when we registered the complaint again, an executive who attended said that we had to change the Front load and front ring. I raised this as a complaint then querying how come this was not identified when the machine failed with the same problem two weeks ago, he was not able to give me a satisfactory response. There were some discussions on who will be bearing the cost of replacing the spare parts. I have tried in vain to gain the attention of your service executives for numerous days after this incident. After being completely frustrated with service, I decided to call up the customer care (?) executives again requesting them to first attend the problem with me paying for the spare parts (This happend in December 2009) but Alas! This too has fallen on dead ears! I have been calling up without fail to Saravanan (ph no: [protected]), I am told he is the supervisor and he has not yet resolved the problem. I have bene given the reason of delay is the out of stock of one of the spare parts! How can this be the case? Do you really care for your customers? I have been kept waiting for 4 months, spent numerous time and money on useless calls to your customer care executives (Saravanan) and everytime I am been given false and fake promises of the problem being resolved within a weeks time, but to no avail. The last conversation I had with him was on 27 Feb 2010, when he promised to sort everything out by 12 March 2010, but I haven't heard from him since then.

We chose IFB because you were the leader in the brand of washing machines, I am now made to think that this was the biggest mistake from my side. Don't you manufacture spare parts? Are you planning to closedown? Is the company bankrupt? I have advised all of my friends and relatives to keep away from IFB products, because the service is pathetic and any complaints always fall on deaf ears. Is there anyway out?

IFB Industries machine not working

i had registered a complaint regarding non working of my machine in oct 2009.the machine was under warranty the technician put the blame on voltage fluctuation and made me purchase a voltage cut off .now on feb 15 2010 the same complaint repeated and the technician places the blame on the mother board.the company has agreed to replace but till today 13/3/2010 the machine is underrepair .this is the reputation of customer satisfaction of ifb indusrties/congatulations to the bosses of ifb .

i am s.karthick i brought IFB washing machine in 11-08-2006 Model no 082182 two days back we called to IFB customer care for washing machine repair after that next day the serives engineer came and said ur washing machine part orien pump was not working so they said to change the part on the next day 9=09-03-2010 the services was came and repaired the washing machine after that the repairing charge was too high like 2000 rupee, we paid that after that we i asked the sales Department of IFB to verified the cost but the sales department sales person said 1450 RS including services charges RS 350 but the services engineer hide the original rate, received the too much of cost to me and they asked the repaired part also if we are not giving means we must pay Rs 2000 it is too too much fraud so please take the serious action for the particular peraon, dealers of IFB

Sir,
I had purchased an IFB Senator DX 6Kg from M/s. George Enterprises on 09/04/2011.

While i had purchased the machine, the cost of the machine is very high compared to other compitetor brands. Even though i had decided to purchase because of brand name, quality and the service.

From 26/08/2011 the machine was not working. I had informed the customer care on 27/08/2011 (the complaint no. 7034050). Till one week from the date of complaint registration nobody had responded.

Then i had visited George Enterprises and said about the complaint. They had given a number to contact for service, the number is [protected].

i had contacted the number, Mr.kamal had attended the number and we had said the problem to him. He said he will clear the complaint.

Next day morning he had send a person, he said that the board is complaint and he replaced the board then also the machine didn't worked. Then i had dialed several times to Mr.kamal he didn't pick the phone.

After that i had went to george enterprises regarding the complaint. he gave another number [protected].

i had contacted the number Mr.Jeguvaran had attended the phone and he said he will clear the complaint.

Next day morning he send a person to check the problem, he also said that the board is complaint and he went back.

From that day till now nobody had responded the problem.

Because of above these problems. Daily we need to go laundry, Expenses become very huge and mental stress is happening.

Now we are thinking why we had purchased this machine.

I am also an electrical dealer and doing small appliances. Nobody had stand in front of me regarding late service.

we think we shall go legally if you can't service the machine.

I am Usha from ahmedabad, gujarat, my costmer id is 1757238, I brought a washing machine on 8/2008 model senorita Dx on 28/8/2011. we called to IFB customer care for washing machine repair they gave complaint no 7058848, after 7 days the service engineer came and replace some part of washing machine.and charged Rs.225o/-but after servicing, machine problem could not solved and created another problem. after that i again coplain on [protected] and remind them daily but till today no body come.

IFB Industries Urgent complaint against IFB Microwave

I bought IFB’s MicroWave Model No. 30SC2 on 23.08.09 from Ashoka
Trading Co., Shop No. 46-47, Sector-16 Market, Faridabad-121002, But
from last month(Oct 09) this Microwave is not working properly, from
20.10.09 to till 10.11.09 I tried many times to call their Authorised
service person PRADEEP SINGH RWAT, his mobil No. is [protected]
(Ref.given by the dealer initially), on every call he gave commit me to
come, but he didn’t come .
Finally I called to IFB service center on 15.11.09 and post a request
regarding the same, my request number is 3746177, they told me that
within 24 hours their engineer will call you up and fix up the meeting
to come but he didn’t called up. On 23.11.09. IFB person ( Naval
Kishore) come to just checked the microwave. He said that he has to
replace a part in Microwave, which he will be available tomorrow. So he
will come tomorrow for part replacement but he didn’t come next day.
Finally, he came on 25.11.09 and unscrewed the whole microwave and
finally got to know that he brought wrong parts. Again he said that
he’ll come tomorrow with right parts and he came on 26.11.09 after
spending 2 hours he could not make it repaired. He didn’t gave me any
receipt or any document which I can be carry as a proof for future. My
Microwave is still not working. He was not acting like a professional.
That’s why when he came next day to repair again I didn’t allow him to
open it.

All this process was very pathetic and painful. I spent a lot of time
and money to call them to resolve this matter.

Kindly take necessary action to resolve this matter.

IFB Industries Complaint from purchase

Dear Sir,

We have purchased a Senorita DX 5.5 Kg Washing Machine-Sr.No 09011iw030316 from alka auto associates, Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Its Bill Book No-14 Sl.No.684 Dated 19.09.09.

Customer code: 2013138

We have faced following problems from the date of installation.

1. Transit bolts found damaged and was reported to the dealer but the service engineer said nothing to worry about it.

2. Machine was commissioned and after a week, balancing weight arrangement was broken and later reported to service engineerand customer care.

3.Service engineer replaced the wash tub with new balancing weight.

4.On 20Th january, 2010, ceramic collar in the door arrangement was broken and later reported to IFB customer care.

5. Engineer replaced the damaged parts on 23rd january 2010 and till date trial run and operation not shown to us by your service engineer.

6. Over telephone he told us to operate the machine but machine is continously malfunctioning with noise and abnormal vibration and not completing its cycle.

As we both spouses are working we are in great trouble in washing the clothes in winter season.moreover we are unhappy to inform you that we are not satisfied with the quality of the product, service and reliability of the machine.

It is unbelievable that the machine is out of order within 3 Months from the date of purchase.

We request you to kindly replace the faulty washing machine with a new machine immediately.

THIS IS TO BRING TO NOTICE THE HUGELY DISAPPOINTING AND POOR RESPONSE BY IFB SERVICE CENTRE. AFTER ATLEAST 6 CALLS, BEING GIVEN A COMPLAINT NUMBER 4443552 IFB - NO TECHNICIAN HAS COME HOME TO FIX OUR MAXIDRY 550 DRYER MACHINE. WITH EVERY CALL THERE SEEMS TO BE FALSE "GENUINE" REASSURANCES ABOUT THE SERVICE. THIS SORT OF CONTINUOUS SERVICE MAKES US WONDER WHY WE CHOSE IFB IN THE FIRST PLACE.

IFB Industries IFB washing machine with motor problum

I ma having a IFB Executive Elite. I had aproblum with my machine and i raised a complaint on sunday(29-Nov-2009). People came and found that there is a problum in the motor and said it needs to be replaced. Till today no one is attending. When i call back to the customer care they give us some contact number and ask to contact them. I had even contatcted the branch manager. They are keepon telling me that the stock is not there and it will arrive today or tomorrow from past one week.

IFB Industries Machine always giving problems..

HI! I had bought the IFB Senorita DX 5.5 kg model in Chennai Tamil Nadu, with confidence that IFB manufactures the best washing machines for which people have no complain for years together. But I'm really disspointed as its not been 1 year up also and I've had a problem with the working of the machine every month till date.

I really want the company to take back this defective peice and return me my money.

Another complaint is that the dealer from whom i purchased it, IFB Point, at the time of purchase had promised that we will recieve a 700RS. free kit from the company directly which even after me making several calls to the call center and the dealer i have still not recieved it till date.

IFB Industries Microwave not Heating - Complaint unattended & unfixed since 15 days

My IFB/17PM-MEC1 is not heating since 18-Oct-09. I reported a complaint on 20-Oct-09 at the IFB Call Centre with the complaint no. 3645424. Mechanic turned up after 96 hours and did nothing. But without informing me, he closed the complaint. I had to raise a new complaint on 31-Oct-09 as 3693112 with a promise from call centre for a sure service by 48hours. But even after 5 days nobody turned up. Whenever called up call centre, they are showing branch, Branch is showing service centre and Service centre is not picking up the phone. I am shattered with this kind of horrible and awful service from IFB. Who will pay for the time I wasted, hazards I faced for the duration I could not use the appliance and the amount of money I had to pay for my phone calls. Can IFB give a proper service NOW?

IFB Industries Dealy in deivery of order number 8212 and very poor response from Jagat Chand and Milind Chandola who is looking after the delhi Customer

I have ordered a revolving glass plate and plastic rng of Micro Wave in India on 13th Oct'2009. I have not received it till know. Everytime while calling to customer care i am not receving the satishfactory reply from there end. Customer care has provided me the 2 monbile numbers of individual who is taking care of IFB product in delhi. Jagat chand is the name of the first person with mobile number [protected], he is making me fool everytime i am calling on his number that it wil lreach within a day or 2. Second number is of Milind Chandola who is branch head and his number is [protected], that person is not picking the call. These showes that 2 guys are least bother about the customer.If you cannot provide services to customer then why are you making such products.If i would have come to know about such services then i have not purchased it.Can anybody if possible look into the matter and provide solution to me.This is mental harrasement which these 2 guys have done.Will wait for your reply

IFB Industries Water flows from Detergent Dispenser Tray

Technician came and changed the drum but it was not done properly as there is gap between drum and the door. Due to his negligence the cloth getting through the gap got struck in the water outlet leading the water to overflow through detergent dispenser tray. (This was done on 2nd July 09.) We register a new complaint on 20th Oct09vide
ticket no.3647926 and the same is not sorted till date. We spoke to your Kannan/Swapna/Manikandan/Karthik but they simply give reasons for not attending. We are terribly upset about your service and response. If my complaint is not attended on time I am going to Consumer Fourm and drag you to court for deficiency of service and take this matter to press as well. Iam an AMC customer and my ID is
640031 valid till 29/05/10.

IFB Industries Water leakage at bottom and tearing cloths

My Customer Code: 1912379
Complaint no. has not been provided as there was some system error.

I have booked a complaint stating that "Water leakage at the bottom of my washing machine and it is tearing my cloths" It tore almost 5 cloths. The complaint has been booked almost 1 month before and the service engineer has attended after 20-25 days. The engineer found that the door rubber got damaged due to improper installation with out taking a thermocoal at the beginning and he told he would replace the rubber in two days as my machine is under warranty. But nobody have come even after 1 week and i called up to customer care again, they told it should be sorted out with in 24 hrs, but till now there is no response. Can you pls advice what should i do. I never saw this kind of worst service in my life.

With reference to our previous emails dated ------, We have made several complaints right from the beginning (3rd month) of the purchase that the dishwasher is not functioning properly. Every time we requested the Chennai manager to either replace with new one or take back the machine as our machine had some factory faults which is causing these problems right from beginning,
We made several complaints (see below) and several calls to the following manager’s responsible persons on different dates:-

Every time they come change /repair / tune up blames the either water supply or current causes and give us the guarantee that next time there will not be any problems but it is only time matter
once your technician Mr Ashok/satish broken on & off switchboard due to rough handling on16/2/09 in front of us and now machine just starts but become stand still without function and not taking water? Each time either they blame the water supply or the current
Kindly note instead of easing the kitchen job since the purchase of dishwasher we suffered monetarily, physically &mentally. Kindly look for into this matter seriously and oblige. Waiting for reply.

With reference to our previous emails dated ------, We have made several complaints right from the beginning (3rd month) of the purchase that the dishwasher is not functioning properly. Every time we requested the Chennai manager to either replace with new one or take back the machine as our machine had some factory faults which is causing these problems right from beginning,

This is with respect to your IFB Dishwasher DW NEPTUNE purchased on 16-Nov-2006, I would like to bring to your notice that we are not satisfied with the dishwasher and service provided by your affiliate in Chennai in spite of so many complaints we had given. Please refer below for the complaints list.
The following are the defect we have noticed in our dishwasher and made complaints.
1) Electric shock while running.
2) Water leak (the water completely flows out while running)

The Chennai manager promised he will replace us the machine which is still under warranty if we had any further complaints, we had complaints after that date and we are yet to get replacement under guarantee. Sub: Defective dishwasher and bad after sales service. Refund of amount towards purchase of equipment, extended warranty, accessories, and compensation.

I want to bring to your kind notice the mental agony I am facing due to defective equipment delivered to me on 6.1.08, who’s functioning couldn’t be rectified in spite of all efforts made during last 34 months.

I have patiently tried to co-operate as much as possible, undergoing great hardship and was always hopeful, but now I am frustrated with the quality of dish washer machine and bad after sales service, and have decided to take up the matter to the consumer court for relief.

The latest Example being my complaint no. 5241461 registered on 8.10.10 attended after delay of 20 days by the engineer Mr. Sunil Tel No. [protected]. He did nothing to rectify the machine giving excuse of non availability of parts He didn’t turn up again and even closed my complaint. I had to re-register my complaint on 8.11.10 (Complaint no. 5387898). This time complaint was attended by Mr. Dhanprakash Tel No 9818087391after a delay of 5 days. He has removed certain parts for replacement and has not turned up as yet. I have complained repeatedly on customer helpline no. [protected] to Mr. Pradeep on 11.11.10, Mr. Subajit on 16.11.10, and Ms Gyatri on 17.11.10 with no results. I was also asked by customer care officers to directly contact Mrs Anuradha -[protected], Mrs Sona-[protected], Mrs Monica-[protected]. However on these telephone nos nobody attends to calls.

Facts
I have purchased dishwasher Neptune model on 6.1.08 from your distributor Arvee Enterprises, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi with the hope of getting a good reputed brand and after sales service to help my aged parents to ease out their work.

I also took extended warranty for additional 2 yrs after paying the required amount over and above the usual 2 yrs warranty given with the product.

The dishwasher started malfunctioning within 15 days of purchase and is still not working till date (20.11.10).

During last 34 months, I have made innumerable complaints at your customer care no: [protected] and every time I was given assurance of speedy rectification of problem.

However the complaints were either not attended and complaint closed, or attended to after delay of 15-30 days after each complaint, that to after repeated reminders at national customer care no and local service centre complaint no, although according to rules it should be attended to within 24 hrs.

Several times my complaint was left unattended and I used to receive SMS on my registered mobile tel. no. that my complaint has been resolved.

My complaint was forwarded repeatedly on my request from the customer care to several service engineers and high officials of the company at Delhi branch, but no one had time to look into my complaint, for which they are employed by the company.

I made repeated requests at customer care to provide me with all the data pertaining to my previous complaints and their follow-up during last several months but they have denied my right to information.

No document at the time of attending complaint is ever provided to me for my record, and no explanation is given to me regarding the nature of problem and the service done or details of part changed.

The parts brought for replacement are unsealed bearing no company seal and always leave me wondering if the replaced part is genuine.

The complaint when attended to, also bears no permanent solution, as the machine breaks down again and again after few days interval rendering it practically of no use.

No follow up call is given after complaint is attended, to judge customer satisfaction.

The service engineers mostly become unavailable on phone, or blatantly tell us that the complaint will be attended by another person even if the trouble starts the very next day of attending complaint. Moreover, I am told to register complaint again on customer care which further wastes time.

The following is a part of data available with me regarding the dates of complaints, complaint nos, people contacted from time to time.

I have tried to contact the following officials/ service engineers from time to time who have always either not responded or remained indifferent.

Mr. Bharat Bhushan (Manager-[protected], [protected]), Mr. Alam (Service engineer-[protected]), Mr. Dhanprakash (Service engineer-[protected]), Mrs Kamini (IFB Official-[protected]), Mr. Amit anand (Service Manager-[protected]), Mrs. Monica (Service coordinator- [protected], [protected]), Mr. Rajesh Burman (Manager-[protected]), Mr. Yogesh (Senior service engineer-[protected]), Mr. Milan Chandola (Service Manager-[protected]), Mr.Ajay (Branch Head-), Mr. Yograj (Area Service Manager-[protected]), Mrs. Ankita (Area Service Manager-[protected]), Mrs. Anuradha (Service Centre owner-[protected]), Mrs. Sona([protected])

I was misguided by the service engineers from time to time by putting the entire blame for repeated malfunction of the machine on us and suggesting measures involving huge expenditure.

The following are few of the many measures suggested to me.

The water pressure in the pipeline is insufficient.

Although the water pressure was strong enough as the water is supplied by overhead tank approx 14 feet high and 2000 lts capacity,

I still responded by installing a separate pipeline and overhead tank, but later found that even then the problem was not solved.

I was asked to use desilter several times by different personnel attending on different days for the same complaint within a span of 7 days.

This incurred me a substantial monetary loss without any result. (Total 10 packets used)

I was asked to purchase a pressure pump, and magnetic flow equipment from them.

I refused, as it was an absurd idea as the company doesn’t recommend and the pressure of water was more than sufficient. I learnt from other customers later that suggestions were intended to earn them extra income.

The following are the inferences drawn regarding malpractices/ deficiency of services from above facts and figures.

As is evident from above data, the following facts emerge about the quality of product and the after sales services:

Defective piece: -
The dishwasher supplied is defective as it is hardly in working condition from the time it was brought until today.

Poor after sales service:
The product has malfunctioned every few days and the quality of after sales service is extremely poor and sub standard.

Delayed service:
The complaint is attended to after delay of 15-30 days that to after repeated requests.
Attending to complaint is mostly limited to a visit by personnel with suggestions to change parts without any result. They then don’t turn up again and give excuses for non availability of parts.

No follow up
There is no mechanism in your company to follow up complaint and to judge customer satisfaction regarding resolution of complaint.
The complaint is invariably closed as per feed back by the service engineer even without attending and solving the complaint. The customer is then asked to register afresh a new complaint.

Denial of customer right to information:
The service engineers do not provide any documents pertaining to diagnosis of problem and measures taken, neither the details of work done and parts replaced.
The customer care centre failed to provide me information regarding my previous complaints and their follow-up for my record and information purpose.

Replaced parts substandard?
The parts brought for replacement are neither sealed nor bear company logo thereby placing a doubt about the genuineness of the part.

Apathy of senior officials:
Even the high officials at local branch level are not concerned about the customer problems and are mostly unavailable, irresponsible, disinterested and unresponsive.

Corruption:
The service centre personnel are indulging in malpractices and it seems are indulging in parallel business by suggesting several products not recommended by the company to customers like magnetic flow meter, pressure pumps.
They even try to charge customers on one pretext or another for servicing during warranty period, that to without providing bill.

Inefficient service engineers:
The service engineers are inefficient, work on basis of ‘hit and trial method’, indulge in temporary ‘jugaru work’ in their own language.
They are discourteous and refuse to come even when the complaint has been attended by them the previous day and remain unsolved.

My motive of making complaint to you
Either refund the total amount with interest + compensation for the deficiency in quality of product and service.
Or
Else I will be left with no choice but to put up my case in consumer court..

My motive is not only to solve my problem but also to save a brand like IFB.
This will require drastic steps to remove deficiencies as I have pointed out earlier.
To add, I still think IFB is a big brand and as a matter of fact want the company to be transparent, customer friendly.

I am Raju, even I had similar experience with IFB washing machine and trash it later, now we are waiting for service to our dryer for the last 3 weeks nobody turned up .. looks like these people are cheating us, chennai police to have look into it, it is like a crime, bloody IFB
