Cigna International review: Rip-off; don't waste your money

In October 2025, I signed up for this dental insurance after speaking with my periodontist, who assured me that his office accepts Cigna Dental.

However, Cigna Dental has consistently refused to pay claims for my routine cleaning appointments, even though Cigna Dentals website clearly states that my plan included two free cleanings per year.

Cigna Dental has never paid a single claim. When I called on July 10, 2026 to ask why my claims were denied, the so-called customer service person said it was because Dr.

Lemmerman is not in network, even though he personally told me his office accepts Cigna Dental. When I pointed that out to the customer service person, she tried to make excuses, stating at one point, Well, maybe they only take Cigna through employers. After hearing that utter nonsense, I canceled my coverage.

If Cigna Dental had been transparent in their advertising, I never would have signed up for it in the first place.

They are engaged in deceptive business practices.

I wrote to the CEO, Brian Evanko, about this matter. He ignored me.

I had been paying $38 every month for 10 months and got no coverage.

Recommendation: I strongly advise others to steer clear of Cigna Dental. They are thieves!
