I had an amazing experience
I was very pleased with the service I received at Ideal Image.
The first experience I had was with Darlin, she was very informative and helpful.
I saw Michelle for a Botox appt and she was very knowledgeable about facial mussels and techniques in which to use to create perfect symmetry.
I will continue to return to Ideal Image for my cosmetic needs.
Ultherapy treatment by Lanaya was great!
I had my first experience on 12/21/2020. The service was for neck ultherapy. After one week, I am seeing results; although, I know the process is typically 6 months. If you can tolerate the pain, it is definitely worth it. As uncomfortable as the procedure was, Lanaya made the process comfortable and relaxing. So much I plan to go back for another treatment of the face.
The best for botox and filler
I've been getting botox and fillers at Ideal Image in Chandler, AZ for a couple years and I have nothing but praise for them. Breanne is the best injector I've ever had. No bruising or painful injections when Breanne does it. The only other services I've had there was Ultherapy a month ago so I'm not yet seeing results. They said it could be a few months to see results. I will say that Ultherapy was very painful and I won't be doing it again so I'm hoping for some amazing results.
Phototherapy excellent!
Dedra from Ideal Image Buckhead, Atlanta performed my Ultratherapy Treatment. She was Amazing! I was very nervous about the process. She explained every step and was so patient answering my questions and calming my nerves. During the procedure she told me everything she was doing and made sure I was comfortable. She told me what I could expect and was incredibly knowledgeable about phototherapy. I felt like I was I expert hands and will definitely go back to her for the lower half of my face. 3 days to cancel
I signed up for laser hair removal with a consultant over zoom video and got a loan through Ally lending. The following day I read ALL of the terrible reviews people had left and immediately regretted my decision signing up with this company. You have 3 days to cancel services and get refunded! (I was not told that by the consultant but found out by reading reviews online.) I called corporate on day 2 and the loan was refunded back to Ally after 7 days and I got refunded for a payment I made over the zoom video. Thankful I got out with no issues and ideal image handled this professionally. Hope this helps someone like it did me!

She also has a very gentle touch when using the needles for Botox! She made me feel safe and comfortable! She is extremely down to earth and a breath of fresh air! I will definitely be coming back to get more procedures with her! I left very happy. It can be scary going to a brand new place, being that I just moved here from LA, but this place was for sure a Godsend! I have to say my only problem was I couldn't leave her a tip because they do not allow us to do so

I am blown away by some of the negative reviews on here which basically read to me as if people are not taking responsibility for their own decisions and/or reading the fine print. I also know a number of other people who have successfully used and sung the praises of Ideal Images various services, but we all know it's usually the ones who live to complain that take the time to write bad reviews.
SPEAKING FOR MYSELF...
I have been using Ideal Images services at various locations across the country for over 10-years now. I am a pedantic OCD kinda guy who drills, questions and over clarifies when interviewing anyone as a client and/or as a consultant. YES there are possible pit-falls to any service such as this, and I was made fully aware of the risks, costs and follow-up procedures involved (IT'S UP TO ALL OF US TO OWN OUR OWN MAINTENANCE) with any and all services that they have provided (VERY successfully) for me to date.
I have used them for hair removal and was fully aware the hair would grow back (as all older men's will, they take care of the hair... they can't change our hormones) but finer than before... anticipating this, I paid for the follow-up service, scheduled my follow-up appointments accordingly and continue to mitigate the situation to my satisfaction.
I recommended a friend use the "under eye" procedure, HUGE success!
I have started a cool-sculpting routine with them and couldn't be happier with their onboarding process (Jodi was phenomenal with explaining the process, the pitfalls AND walking me through the financing), their client services and the polite and cooperative manner (Megan and Chelsea at the shop have been wonderful to work with) in which they have accommodated my specific needs as well as my schedule.
Believe me, if nothing more than to up the "ratings percentage curve" BUT more importantly to spread the word to others who could benefit from their professional services and beneficial offerings, I will be following up with subsequent reviews as my process (and progress) continues.

I spoke with someone to get services at ideal image. I was so excited to get ultherapy, IPL and cool sculpting. The lady I spoke with on zoom was awesome until I started emailing her and she never emailed back. So far ideal image has canceled five of my appointments. One an hour before I was supposed to be there. Now I can’t get in for three months. I can’t believe that I am gave money to this terrible business. Please go somewhere else if you actually want to get your services. I would’ve paid a lot more to go somewhere that was much more reliable. Any place is better.
Recommendation: Do not sign up. Go somewhere else.

This company is fine until you try to get an appointment- then it’s a 3 month wait.
We called the national 1-800 number when we signed up and we were told we could use any location. Now we are told that we signed up with a local, now-unaffiliated “franchise” and we cannot use any of the 100 other locations. The patient no longer lives in the area and cannot use the local office.
Neither the local office nor the corporate office are willing to make this right and will not release us from the contract.

I was researching laser hair removal places in the area I was going to be moving to. I use another laser place near my current home now and will be finishing out treatments in 2-3 months at that place. I went for a consultation with Ideal Image back in 2018 when I was just looking around at place. Since my laser place does not have a location in the state I will be moving to I wanted to just gain more knowledge and price ranges on what to expect once I do decide to move next year so I have everything in order. I explained my situation to the person trying to set up my consultation and they still insisted I have the virtual consultation. I had my consultation virtually and Molly was very kind and sweet in the beginning until I explained my situation and how I did not want to go on a payment plan and would rather pay in full. I am a college student so I would rather not be holding a monthly payment if it is not needed. She was very pushy on how "It will help your credit" and "I am not sure why you wouldn't do monthly payments as I am sure you do not have that kind of money laying around" which she has no idea on what I can finically afford or not so that comment really bothered me. Just because I am young and a college student doesn't mean I can or cant afford certain things. I am making another monthly payments right now so I did not want to be making more monthly payments then needed she replies back with "yes well thats what grown adults do" she then asked to get me prequalified which I did not want to do and asked me my credit score which I told her a rough round about score on where I am at and stated "oh well there should be no issues then" I then stated how I did not want my credit score to be pulled once again. She then told me she would give me a big discount if I was to purchase right now but I kept explaining how I was just trying to find out more information. I was told "your wasting your time by doing this consultation right now" and prices were going to change by next year (which I already knew the prices could fluctuate I was just trying to get a clear understand) I was then asked once again why am I doing this right now if I am not ready to purchase and I then explained again how I wanted to just gain more information for when I move here I was answered with "nobody wants facial hair so I am still unsure why you wont purchase it right now". I then stated how I am finishing up treatments still at my other place for a different area so I did not want start all new treatments (at their location where I currently live) until I was finished with the ones I have. She then told me she would give me a big discount if I was to purchase right now but I kept explaining how I was just trying to find out more information. She asked me if I had any other questions and I asked about how their laser is better than the places laser I go to right now she answer by say "ours is medical grade" and compared it to a luxury car brand and how my place isnt unlimited for a reason and they don't provide you enough services. She then goes "so are you going to purchase these right now or not" I responded with I was just trying to gain some knowledge and information about your laser hair removal place and how you operate so once I move here I have a clear understanding about your place so I can make my purchase then so not right now, and she gave me an attitude look and abruptly said good bye and completely ended the zoom call.
I was really thinking about going to their business next year but now that I was told that this was a waste of my time and she was unsure why I even did this consultation and I was pushed and treated very rudely once they did not hear that I wanted to purchase this package right this second and I wanted to just inform myself; I was treated very rude. I spoke to a local laser place (where I will be moving) and they were very kind to me and understanding that I just wanted to gain more knowledge and they valued me as a customer even though I would not be purchasing till next year and really liked that I was trying to just gain more knowledge. I would rather go to some local place rather than here now where I will be treated with more respect.
I am not someone to ever write bad reviews however I do not want someone else to be treated in the way I was.

Delay of booking appointment after payment and inaccurate account status resulting in my inability to receive the services I paid for.
I made a down payment of over $700 on 9/27/23 to begin treatment and to pay $147.50 monthly for the balance, beginning 10/30/23. I was told that my appointment would be scheduled within 7 days of making my down payment. I waited almost 2 weeks before I was scheduled (after complaining and demanding a refund). The day of my appointment 10/28/23), the clinic called and asked if I could come in earlier, of which I did. Upon arrival, I was told that I had a past due balance of $147.50 although my FIRST monthly payment wasn't due until 10/30/23! How is a payment past due before the due date? The payments were set up on automatic draft from my banking account. I showed the receptionist that the bank had already pulled the funds from my account as a pending payment to post on 10/30/23. She attempted to reach out to several management staff for over an hour, but no one responded to her. Customer service closed at 2pm on that day. My appointment was scheduled for 5pm. I was told that I could not get the treatment because of the status of my account. I demanded a refund. I was told a case was being created that day for a refund and that it would be reviewed and approved by Holly Hernandez on Monday, 10/30/23. I called on today to find out that the case "was not finalized" and Holly was unable to see it to review it. I was told she would call me in 48 hours. I was told this when I complained about getting the appointment, but I NEVER heard from this Holly chic who is supposed to be the District Manager. This company is a joke! NO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHADY company!

Chargeback request: fraud in the inducement and negligence
Two of your consultants told me false information in an effort to give your company business. I essentially paid for a treatment I didn't want nor did I need. After several verbal asking for confirmation that the IPL or BBL would treat ruptured capillaries on a small area of my upper chest, paid $200 as a down payment and hustled into agreeing to a contract that was signed by me due to false pretenses.
Two of your sales consultants, one by the name of Caroline Santillian, informed me that the BBL treatment would treat:
A.)Ruptured capillaries on chest due to sun damage
B.)Redness on the chest
C.)Fine Lines on chest
Because Caroline and the preceding consultant, who I believe the name is Julianne, informed and confirmed several times that the BBL treatment provided by Ideal Image would treat my ruptured capillaries on my chest, I bought the treatment, agreed to the contract, set up a payment plan for the treatment, rejected a local business offering BBL, and drove approximately 2 hours based on the fact that I was told Idea Image was able to treat ruptured capillaries on the chest through the use of BBL. If your sales consultants told me that ruptured capillaries CAN NOT be treated on the chest through BBL, or any available laser treatment that Ideal Image provides, I would have never purchased a treatment.
I loved the nurse who treated me, she was very considerate and empathetic to the fact that I had been misleading. She expressed concern for the system of your company and how the consultants are essentially sales representatives whose main mission is to make a sale and that they do not have the knowledge and true understanding of what each treatment is able to be administered on a variety of areas of your customers.
In essence, I was tricked, cheated, and lied to by representatives of your company so that your business could make a profit. When the nurse administered treatment to my face she asked me if I still wanted to get my chest treated. At that point, I didn't even know what that meant or what to believe, who was correct, and/or who was misinformed.
The nurse was kind enough to encourage me to "just do it." I believe she was doing this out of kindness because she saw how distraught I was. She expressed understanding of the fact that I only wanted the chest treatment for ruptured capillaries and I only chose to do business with Ideal Image because I was told the chest treatment would treat the ruptured capillaries. She understood that if I had known that Ideal Image would not treat ruptured capillaries on the chest with BBL I have saved time, money, and distress by choosing the local business that was more convenient for me and closer to my residence. So she said, "Oh let's just do it!" I agreed out of nativity and confusion, again, as I said before I wasn't sure what or who to believe. All I knew then, laying in that chair was that I wanted the ruptured chest capillaries to be treated. I didn't need or want BBL chest treatment for dark spots, fine lines, or minimizing pores. My only concern was the ruptured chest capillaries. and my only intention of doing business with Ideal Image was if my ruptured chest capillaries could be treated with the BBL. I was told by your associates that it does and that Ideal Image provides that service to customers.
So impressionably I agreed and allowed the nurse to administer BBL treatment, in hopes that maybe she was wrong.
I would like a refund for the BBL treatment to my chest. Until this afternoon I only wanted a partial refund for BBL chest treatment, but after speaking with your "General Counsel and Secretary" employee Nicole Strothman and her associate Tanya, I would like a chargeback of $225.00 from Ideal Image.
The amount of $225.00 is a reasonable amount because it is the amount Ideal Image charged me for a treatment that was falsely presented to me in an effort to mislead my decision to purchase BBL treatment for my chest area. Legal reasons are as follows:
1) Fraud In The Inducement (Fraudulent Inducement)
2) Negligent Infliction of Emotional Distress
3) False Advertisement
As I explained to your associate Tanya earlier today, "Fraud In the Inducement," (i.e. Fraudulent Inducement), according to Cornell Law School's Legal Information Institute, and verified by other sources, "occurs when a person tricks another person into signing an agreement to one’s disadvantage by using fraudulent statements and representations. Because fraud negates the “meeting of the minds” required of a contract, the injured party can seek damages or terminate the contract." Therefore legal action is justifiable based on evidence of fraudulent inducement and if appropriate measures are not taken for the injustice, exploitation, and losses that Ideal Image has inflicted.
Desired outcome: I would like a chargeback of $225.00 from Ideal Image.The amount of $225.00
Force payment of services not rendered
I was given a zoom call by ideal image and the sales person stated that I would receive a consultation before the actual appointment. I signed electronic documents for an initial consultation then appointment. First - the price package was falsely advertised in terms of price. Second - the representative asked for a credit card for holding purposed only. Third - I was told to electronically sign for a financial approval to make payments. What I was not told that their was not a legit consultation and that this was a contract without options to decline services and the approved loan.
The represenatative blatantly lied about the process and the payments.
When I called to decline because of the financial obligation, I was told I had to cancel the fortiva loan and still pay them some unknown balance then pay $1700 upfront to ideal image regardless of services rendered
Desired outcome: CANCEL SERVICES with IDEAL IMAGE WITH ZERO PAYMENT for ZERO Services Rendered and MISINFORMATION/FALSE ADVERTISMENTFORTIVE CANCEL LOAN and RETRIEVE any credit sent to IDEAL IMAGE

If I could leave Zero stars I would. The rep lied to me and ignored my current condition to still sign me up for Coolsculpting knowing that I am not an ideal candidate. I was looking for results in time for an upcoming Wedding and the rep assured me that it wasnt a problem. After I signed up they had no available appointments to get my treatments and results in time, and I found out that I wouldnt see the results I was desiring based on my weight/BMI.
I tried to cancel within 2 days of signing up (with no services rendered) and they are cold and dont want to assist or talk to me. They got the full amount (through financing) and don't care if they perform the treatments, meets my goals, or gives me any results at all.
They are deceptive, coercive, and try to pressure you into deals with limited information other than their lies. I recommend doing some research and staying away.

Ideal Image cool tone
I had an online consult for cool sculpting versus cool tone. I signed up scheduled appts for the ideal image in Buford Georgia. First off I am very disappointed. My first session was on my buttocks, I ordered treatment for buttocks and abdomen to begin with. My first visit the machine did not work on one side. I relayed this twice to the nurse that I didnt not feel the machine on the left side of my buttocks. I was reassured that if there was an error that the machine would alert an error. The nurse did not attempt to check the machine nor did she attempt to take off and reapply to see if that made a difference. My second visit, apparently my appointment got changed and I was not notified so I drove an hour and a half away just to be told I did not have an appointment. My third visit I was called and they needed to shift the schedule due to no staff being available. this appt apparently was not canceled and I was charged a cancellation fee for an appt that I did not change but the office changed. Then I attempted another appt this time I brought my daughter with me, now granite i brought one of my kids with me the first visit and never was I told that no kids were allowed. So again I drove an hour and a half for a visit that was refused because I had my daughter with me. NOT HAPPY one bit. There is no sign posted that no kids are allowed the receptionist was very rude didn't even ask my dad but immediately told me my appt would need to be cancelled because kids were not allowed in the building. I told them to cancel my appts and I wanted a refund and corporate to contact me, and I got a corporate number. I call corporate was left on hold then eventually hung up on. In the meantime I am paying on a loan through ally that only 2 treatments was completed and these treatments were going to be completed in the recommended time frame due to consistently changing my appts due to no staff. I also work fulltime as a nurse and am a mother that being called every week to change multiple appts becomes a nuisance. Since being told that I could not go into my appt due to having my daughter with me I have yet to have been called to find out why I have not completed my treatments. This is not a cheap procedure and I am highly disappointed to be paying on a loan that I did not receive treatment for nor has anyone bothered to call me to figure out what is going on but I did get a call within 30 minutes when I first inquired about this treatment. So because you all got paid I'm left with a loan and no treatment plan completion. Very disappointed in this company and I would like immediate action. I will not continue to pay for services I did not receive I want a complete refund.

On 11/9/2022, I had a virtual consultation with Ideal Image Representative (I don't remember her name) for laser hair removal, which I thought would only be a consultation so I could learn more and decide whether to go forward. But, during the call, I was subjected to an aggressive sales pitch and pushed into signing a contract but given no time to read it. I was given a couple of quotes, and she said that she could apply a maximum % discount and she showed me how the system didn't allow her to apply a discount over a specific % limit. I was forced to sign up on the Zoom call, and she said that she couldn't guarantee the same discount if I didn't sign up. I was not told anything about how I was paying for the services. I mean, what company was financing the amount, when will I receive a call or something about the first payment schedule etc. Nothing. The finance company, Ally, kept sending me emails, but it got mixed up with other spam emails, and I had to pay late payments with my monthly payments after 2 months when I received a physical mail about outstanding payments. On the same call, she immediately set up a loan with Ally for $8,080.00 prior to me receiving any services. I'm not here to complain about this.
The location that's closer to my residence is the one in Nanuet, NY. They had one person who used do my laser quit, and they rescheduled the appointment (TIME). Then it happened again, this time, all of their providers quit. So they canceled my following appointments.
8/8 – I received an email saying they needed to cancel my appointment that was scheduled for 8/17. Their email below:

We will be in contact soon with additional days that open for scheduling the moment we know.
It had been already 8 weeks since my last appointment, because they had cancelled my one other appointment in July because, Sarah who did my laser had quit. My email reply below:
My last appointment for these areas was 8 weeks ago. That's because My previous appointment was canceled because Sarah left. If that's going to happen again, and if my next appointment will be not be in the next 4-5 weeks, then that's going to be a problem. I won't have these areas treated in 12+ weeks.
2. At my last appointment, The schedule was not open to schedule my next appointment and i was told that someone would call me and that hasn't happened yet.
8/9 – I got a reply from them, asking me to go to the CT location. I live in NJ, they wanted me to drive to another state to get my services done. I said that I couldn't. Their email reply below:
Hello, we are very sorry about the situation; the reason we have not called yet is because we still have not gotten anyone yet. We are hoping we will have a provider soon and as soon as we do you are definitely on the list to call. There are more appointments available at our Connecticut location if you were interested so let me know so we can arrange that for you.

At this moment we still do not know exactly when but are aiming for the end of the month! I'm so sorry for any inconvenience. As soon as our laser hair removal schedule opens up, I will give you a call to get you scheduled as soon as possible. You would not like to renew the membership? I am able to stop the membership from the annual renewal so please let me know if that is what you would like to do.

Can you please let me know how I can get a refund for unused sessions? I have paid $8,080, I'm looking to get my money back for the unused sessions. My last appointment was in June or early July. I haven't had my areas treated for over two months. I need $8,080 - the no. of sessions used. Please help me with the corporate contact to discuss this matter.

In the meantime, I kept looking in their app to see if they opened slots for appointments, and they didn't.
9/8 – No response to my emails. I called +[protected]. I spoke to someone about my situation: I have had no sessions for over 2 months, and the Nanuet location has no providers to give me an appointment until they don't know when. For some of my treatment areas, I had my last session in May and some in July. So Ideal Image has not given me an appointment for my services in 3-4 months. I asked that they refund my money minus the amount for the used sessions. She put me on a long hold and transferred me to an executive.
I had to explain everything to her all over again. She said that the money we give is non refundable. They made me sign up for 18 months membership, which if I don’t renew will cancel after 18 months. I have to complete my 18 sessions of each area I have signed up for within the 18 months membership time. I have lost 4 months + one earlier cancelation in July I think. They told me that they will let me finish my sessions by adding the lost time to my membership. She also gave me a suggestion of driving to CT from NJ to get my services done. I denied and she said they can’t give refund. She told me that the Nanuet location had 10/20 available and I couldn’t book the appointment on the app. I hung up the call. I tried scheduling the appointment later that evening, and the location had no opening. The schedule is not open (even today 9/9/2023) until 11/4. I see dates on the map starting on 11/12, but they are grayed out, meaning not available to schedule. They have been calling customers to book for those dates, but I haven’t gotten a call till today. As of 9/9/23, They have only 3 days available the rest of the year to schedule, 12/2, 12/16, 12/30. That’s all. I asked this executive to refund my money, because I have been struggling with skin issues from managing for months together due to not having laser done because of the scheduling issues. She denied and didn’t help a bit.
9/9/23 – I called the Ideal Image no. to schedule the appointment thinking it would let them schedule. But, the person who took my call said that the Nanuet location had no available appointments in September and she could put me on the waiting list for September. They have only 3 days available the rest of the year to schedule, 12/2, 12/16, 12/30. That’s all
I need your (BBB) help in getting my money back (not for the sessions I have received). My money which they are keeping without providing any service to me. I can’t and don’t want to wait till next year or go to Connecticut or New York to get my services done. I signed up because they had a location closer to my residence within NJ. Now I can’t drive hundreds of miles every 4-6 weeks because my money is stuck with them. Please help.

Contract Automatic Renewal
NC has a statute that covers automatic renewal of contracts and memberships. A customer must be notified within writing at least 45 days before renewal. My membership was automatically renewed, and I was not notified. Not to mention that fact that no service comes with the automatic renewal. I requested a refund of my membership since I was not notified in writing as required by NC law. I was told that a refund was not possible.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund of the membership fee.
Cool sculpting
I did a consultation for cool sculpting on may 27, 2022 and was told that I only needed 4 treatments and I would get the results I wanted. When I did 3, I noticed that it did absolutely nothing so when I went in to do my 4th, the nurse did a consultation and told me that it was all incorrect and drew on me and did measurements. She calculated about 11 to see results. I called to get my money back and they said no because of the contract and told me that it was fair since I was a consenting adult. I felt so scammed by the company. They used the contract against me to ensure they made a sale without having the expertise to do a consultation. I was given misinformation and feel that it is not my fault to pay for their incompetence. The issue is them not me. I told then there is a difference between being told correct information and cool sculpting not working and being told incorrect information and cool sculpting not working.
Lack of notice of price increase prior to charge
As part of Ideal Image's annual membership, the fee is automatically charged to the credit card on file. The initial contract indicates that the fee can change; however, Ideal Image fails to provide notice of the actual increase, including the amount of the increase. This does not allow the customer an opportunity to cancel the membership before being charged the higher price. When calling for a refund, a $20 processing fee is required per the contract. However, the processing fee could not be avoided because I was not given a chance to cancel before I was aware of a higher price. Had notice of the price increase been given, I could have canceled and not been subject to the $20.00 processing fee.
Desired outcome: Refund of the full amount without being charged a $20 processing fee
Laser hair removal
I am writing to inform that ideal image lied to me, they said that they can do hair removal I my private part and I went to the 1st session to be told that they cant do hair removal of white or grey hairs, after I had take a small loan for the 2500$ service treatment, when I complained about it, they did not refund me, they only said I can use it for another service of which I do not need. They mislead me and lied to me.
Desired outcome: 2500.00 returned.
Botox for 11 lines
I went to ideal image to get rid of my 11 lines between eyes. I seen NO CHANGE but what i had noticed that i had wrinkles where i never did. I got the plan that they sell due to excitement about this helping. . I went to another location only to question the winkles that i have now she sells me 280.00 worth of botox to help. Still no difference only for her to tell me when she was done. This wont help its to deep. Im pissed and i want answers. I want a full refund and i want JUSTICE. I will take this fraud as far as i can in the courts. Scammers stay away from ideal image! Today is Sunday i will take off work monday to file the claims against Ideal image.
