A few days ago I booked a hotel suite with Hotels.com for the web rate of $214plus tax. I prepaid and when I got my receipt hotels.com had charged me $232 plus tax. So they ripped me off for $26 and literally stole it from my debit card. I contacted Expedia group, their owner, and still no reply. Even after I mentioned legal action. The Expedia group is owned by Jeff Bezos, who I think is one of the biggest crooks in earth. They reported him and this incident to the authorities. Maybe that's why they're not replying. A word of advice is don't pay hotels in advance online. Once they get your card number they start stealing money. Not all of them but a lot of them. The hotels.com web rate advertised was a scam. Because they charged me a higher rate once they got my card number. A lawsuit is pending.
Desired outcome: To get a refund of $26 that Hotels.com/Expedia group stole from my debit card..

I reported Jeff Bezo s and this incident to the authorities
Once I found out that Expedia Group's head office is in Seattle I had a feeling Jeff Bezos is the owner. And I was right. I bought 2 Amazon tablets and they were crap. Amazon /Bezos refused to give me a refund. The Federal Trades Commission is after him too.
