Seller is ash976. The sale of the kitten was agreed upon to take place 2/23/19 and the seller was going to meet us at a local Kwik Trip. When I texted the seller at 262-423-7233 before meeting her and asked who I should make the check out to she said that she only accepted cash. I replied that I would pay in cash but that I would like a receipt and a copy of her driver's license with her home address. The terms of the sale were that we could return the kitten in one week if a family member was allergic to the kitten. The seller would not provide an address for the return of the kitten. The seller never responded to our request for a receipt and identification. Luckily the transaction did not take place and the seller ghosted me. There were all kind of red flags.

This woman currently has 8 ads on hoobly.com for various breeds of dogs. We recently purchased a Beagle from her. When we got to her house the stench when we walked in the door was so unbearable and there were mouse/rat nests in corners. My husband and I couldn't get out of there fast enough. She claimed that our 4mt beagle puppy was a "Pocket Beagle" which was untrue. He will grow to be a full size Beagle. She also claimed he had his 6wk shots and was de-wormed, even provided paperwork, however after a visit to our vet we're currently treating him for roundworm, giardia, yeast infection in both of his ears and ear mites. Also, the collar she had on him was too tight. I called Animal Control in Gladwin county and they said they're aware of her and wasn't much they could do because she's was "turned over" to the State. This isn't the first time she's done this. Please spread the word do not purchase from tthedoggiedojo.

A woman claiming to be Ashley M advertised English Bulldog pups for sale for $1500-1800. We corresponded several times and met up to see the puppies before we decided to purchase two. The phone number Ashley uses is [protected]. Her email is ashley_m93@yahoo.com. She claimed the DAM died giving birth and also claims the pups came with a health guarantee. She said the parents DAM and SIRE were registered (provided fake AKC and CKC numbers). One of the pups is deaf and when I called her about this, she said this wasn't a health issue and refused to address the issue. I contact both AKC and CKC and the DAM and SIRE numbers she provided are both fake. Ashley is not registered with either. I brought this to her attention and she gave me her boyfriends info and said to wait 6 months before registering the pups. Some of you have already been scammed and some could be in the future so beware!

I believe that I may have been scammed. I paid a deposit on a puppy via Google Pay and haven't heard from the seller since. They sent me tons of pictures, promised more pics and updates each week. I get a weird voicemail message when I try to call the # in the ad. If this is in fact a scam, shame on these people...and dhamed on me for falling into it. The seller claims their name is Carson Tipton and they are supposedly from Brazil, IN.

I posted an ad for puppies on hoobly less than a week ago. I had another user Monet from Gross Point Michigan send me a thread that was awful. It's just plain harassment.

People don't want to deal with this when they are trying to sell something on your site. That's why I don't use Craigslist anymore. Too many nasty people. I'm on your site to sell not to be beat up by another user!

A women by the username Mikes189 aka "Jennifer" is selling dogs way too young and lying about their age. She sold me a chihuahua puppy claiming it was 5 1/2 weeks old, eating on its own via puppychow, and walking. I go to get the puppy and it is much smaller than expected and can hardly walk and still on formula!I We drove 2 hrs to get her and the lady was extremely eager to give her to us so we took her and went our separate ways. We called the vet a couple times everyday to make sure we were doing everything right. A few days later the puppy ends up having a seizure because the blankets and heating pad we had for her were not warm enough and she had a skull deformity that made her far more delicate than we anticipated. The vet concluded she was underdeveloped and showed the developmental traits of a 3 1/2 week old puppy that had little chance without its mother and extreme special care! He told us that unless we were experienced on how to raise infant puppies the baby wouldn't have made it. She should have never given the puppy away to just anybody that early. I will take blame in that we were naive and not prepared, but we were expecting a puppy not an infant dog. The women gave us no instructions on how to care for the pup, and lied to us about her development. The puppy ended up passing away from her seizure a couple hours later and we have been devastated since. I messaged her and she will not refund us even half our money and says it is 100% our fault. DO NOT buy puppies from this women all she cares about is money! We had to learn that the hard way.

Hi I haven't been able to get into my account for over a month and I had it for 7 years with no complaints. I've tried to get into my account and i'm told my ip is banned? Why would this happen? I contacted an ad on Hoobly for a blue nose pit pup, the username was bigpitzkennels (user since 2012) person name was Jessica Downing. I talked to the person on the phone (216 area code number) because they seemed very concerned about where the pups go. We made a few back and forth texts and I put a $250 deposit down to hold a male. Communication from that point on was horrible, slow and lacking. I've viewed the ad a few times and it has changed 4 times now. Currently has a number (734 area code) and they claim their name in Christian now. They're saying they don't have a pup saved for me, I got scammed blah blah blah. Refuse to answer my questions. I figure it's the same person due to the LOL's and misspelling of words. The current ad has updated pics and you can clearly tell which pup I put a deposit on. (He looks the same just a little bigger). I think someone else offered more money or it's a complete scam all together.

A woman claiming to be Courtney advertised pug puppies for sale at their cost of $400 in Rochester, ny. I sent her a $150 deposit on December 9th, 2018 through google pay to hold the puppy, she sent pics etc. For a few weeks then suddenly I could no longer contact her. The phone number she uses is [protected]. Her email was [protected]@gmail.com. She claimed the puppy would come with a puppy kit, health vaccinations, be used to baths and attested on potty training, blah blah. I have not heard from her since December 17th now. Sadly this was supposed to be a Christmas gift for our 16 year old son...we now have to explain to him that we were scammed by some dishonest loser.

Person stated her name was Courtney using phone number +[protected] and email [protected]@gmail.com. Sent tons of pics of the kitten and said he was born on Halloween and would be ready after Jan 23. Very quick to respond to my questions. Asked for a 200 deposit either through Zelle or Walmart to walmart. States she lives in Wheeler, IL. I sent the 200, and ever since then, no response. This was a supposed to be a Christmas gift from Santa for my 7 year old son who wanted a kitten who looked like one who recently passed away and now I have to break his heart again saying that there will be no kitten.

i used your site to look for a puppy for my wife for christmas and we found one of your advertisers user name BOZA . she has toy yorkshire puppies. first she listed her area to be hicksville virginia as home but she is from Purlear North Carolina (thats what she told me) we drove from Virginia Beach Va. to oxford N.C. to meet her on Monday the 17th of Dec. we picked up a male puppy at about 3pm. we tooth puppy to a vet on tuesday the 18th of Dec. and all seemed fine but on Wednesday the 19th he stoped eating and by Thursday morning at 7:30 am he was unable to stand. i rushed him to the vet and they gave me some meds and told me to return at 2pm unless the puppy started getting worse and then take him to emergency hospital.. at 12:30 he started having extreme diarrhea so i rushed him to the ER where they ran more test and told me he has parvovirus and only had 10% chance of making it. parvovirus has an incubation period of 7 to 10 days soviet told us he had this when we got him. the breeder (BOZA) will not communicate with me. all i asked for was my $2000.00 back that i paid i didn't ask for vet bills ( that are over $500.00) if three is anything you can do to help me i would be gratefully appreciated. Also i worry about someone else going through the heart ache we did by buying a sick puppy. The seller doesn't seem to care and insists all her puppies are healthy but has stoped talking to me. i have tried to call her and text her. I don't think you want someone selling sick puppies on your site, and giving you a bad name also. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

I can not access my Hoobly acct [protected]@yahoo.com..for 3 days now.. All I get is a white blank page, I have been a member since 2011 with no issues.. I have Christmas Puppies for sale and need to open my acct so I can update, renew, and see any messages.. PLEASE fix this issue so me and others having this same issue can access their account as well..

Hoobly has alot of issues from time to time. The only way that I have found helpful is to contact the owner of the site, Peter Grigor.

Problems with my Hoobly account user name cdeckerpersians started 12/17/2018. I was logged in but unable to view my messages or listings, I would only get a blank screen. I was thinking that it may help if I logged out and back in. Big mistake, now I cannot log in. I tried to reset the password and it tells me that my email address does not exist. If I try to start a new account it tells me my email is already in use. It is urgent that I can get to my messages. I have a kitten that is going home for Christmas and I cannot get a hold of the purchasers. They will probably think I am a scammer.

I am unable to access my hoobly listings to edit them. Ii sell doberman puppies and my hoobly password is bandit3026. I am unable to get to my listings to renew or edit them. Please investigate and get back to me asap? My doberman puppies ads have been on hoobly for the past 8 years, and really hate to no longer be able to use hoobly...

They are a scam. Originally contacted on Sunday Dec 16th by text. They wanted to be paid via Zelle, promised baby parrot to be shipped next day. Paid them $850 for parrot and $120 shipping. Supposedly used freight company called Royal Air Express, who emailed me with shipping number, then called me to read new email from them. They said bird was in Birmingham, Alabama and that the birds crate was inferior and I needed to buy or rent special crate for $1, 000 to over $3, 000 to get bird. I contacted Paramount and told him I thought that was a scam and he kept wanting me to share the cost, and I said that I paid him for shipping and that was his responsibility. Have not heard back from him or Freight company since Dec 18th, 2018. I suggested he get bird back and refund us or deliver bird. He will not answer calls or texts. Freight company no longer has tracking available for the supposed shipment of the bird to me. So we are out $970.
