Home Town Hero Project Never had a worse ad campaign in my life

Never had a worse ad campaign in my life. I also was quoted an extra month of advertising than they actually gave me. $600 advertising a 20% off coupon and did not receive 1 order or any traffic to my site. Highly suspicious.

SCAM all the way. I purchased these services with no results what so ever. The advertise a 100% money back guarantee, but guess again if you think you getting your money back. It states that "After six months, if you not satisfied, they will refund your money" and they told me that I need to have the contract for 12 months before I can cancel if not satisfied after the first 6 months. In other words, pay for another 6 months so we can take your money again. Stay away!

was in charge of handling my account. *** was very disrespectful when telling him I no longer want to publish my ad after reading reviews that they just flood your ad with bots, so you get the views you pay for. *** told me I owe them $200 for creating the ad, Which was trash and had to of taken 5 seconds to make. That would also remove me from their calling list, which is every week btw! After I told him I didnt want to pay for something I never agreed to or want, *** up the phone and charged my card $498. For an ad I never approved or agreed to. My bank is currently taking care of the charge and Im awaiting a call back from his supervisor. Dont even waste your time with this company or *** for that matter.

If I could give this one a negative rating I would. This company is a complete fraud. After hanging around for 6 months, I asked for a cancellation, having been told after 6 months I could receive a complete money back guarantee if I werent completely happy with their services. They now tell me Ive had *** engagements, meaning *** people clicked my ad which would have taken them to my website. I had nothing even remotely close to that on my end - not even ONE inquiry. And, you guessed it, because they delivered on their end, there wont be a money back guarantee. Absolute scamat least I only lost $1,300. Some people get taken for more. I would like a lawyer to take this one on

I have received absolutely zero leads because of this product, despite purchasing an entire year's subscription up front ($1500) and am nearing the end. Their website no longer exists. Their customer service was excellent up front and they were communicative so I believed that they would have follow through, but I am astonished at how terrible this service was. I will be forced to file a complaint against them via my credit card company if they attempt to auto-renew me.

I received a call from this business back in January, they were very kind up front (which is exactly how they reel you in) and explained to me that I would be supporting veterans and first responders if I signed up for an ad campaign with them. I was told that it would cost $1 up front, and that I could cancel at anytime, no hassle. So I signed up with them, and I approved the ad they sent me (which also, looks awful. I genuinely can't believe I paid $120 a month for this) and heard nothing afterwards. Fast forward to February and I'm trying to cancel the subscription because I received no analytic reports whatsoever, and I end up emailing and calling over the span of two weeks just to get a hold of someone that would cancel my subscription. At the time of writing this review, I just got off the phone with one of the reps stating that I had signed up for a 12 month subscription and that if I wanted to cancel I would be charged a $120 cancellation fee. Absolutely absurd. The rep that I had originally talked to when I signed up NEVER mentioned this, and I am now disputing the charges with my bank. This business is a fraud, stay far away from them and please don't get trapped in their scheme like I did.

DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR CARD INFORMATION! This "business" contacted me about an advertising campaign where they design an ad for you to market your business online. The ad is "created" for you within 24hrs and sent back to you for review. You let the design team know of any alterations for them to change to your liking. The ad I received was a generic template with my name, phone number, and address on it. The worst ad I have ever seen. I don't know who's first day it was using UX design but I expected better from "professionals". They asked for your card information before they get started on your ad under the guise of expedience and with the promise that you will not be charged until you are happy with the design. The initial design was so bad I didn't want anything to do with this service so I stopped contacting them. I was pestered several times after that about the ads design that I clearly did not want. 30 days later I was charged $219 from EASY GEO FENCING. I called and left a message. The return phone call from the same man pestering me about the terrible design told me that after 30 days they charge you anyway. He then asked me for an additional payment in order to cancel my service. I signed no contract, I didn't receive an ad, or online marketing but I was told I'll be sent an invoice for over $2000. I made sure to let them know that the day I see an invoice from this scam they will be hearing form my lawyer and it will cost them A LOT more than $2000. I look forward to this day in court.

Home Town Hero Project Nothing but scam artists who prey on veterans

Nothing but scam artists who prey on veterans. I signed up but the day after I had to shut down my business because of Covid. I contacted them 3 times and left an email on 27April20 to cancel the service. They were set to bill for May on the 2nd. They didnt cancel the service and wanted to charge me $299 for May even though I cancelled before then. I had to call on the 7th of May to have them cancel again and even though they were aware I no longer wanted the service I had to hound them to get it done and just so they could charge me for an extra month. Terrible people who just want to bleed you dry during hard times.

I received an advertising call from easygeo.com from Aaron Olsen stating he was with the Home Town Hero Project. He stated his organization helps VFWs and veterans all over the nation. He stated he wanted to advertise our mortgage business through his geofencing product. He stated since I was a veteran he was going to give me a special discount of $199/month to advertise with them. I asked him to send me an email with information and I would take a look. The next morning (less than 20 hours later) he called me and said he had a special deal just for me and that for $1 dollar I could start today. I stated that I have not gotten a chance to look at his email and that I would like to do a little research before signing up. Aaron then chastised me saying, "well you say you do your research, but then don't even open my email?!" I stated I was not in a hurry and he said, "well we are in a hurry." After this, I ended the call as his intentions became obvious. After researching ComplaintsBoard.com complaints and website reviews this appears to be just above a straight-out scam as every complaint is the same. This is why I am shocked that they still have a A+ rating! As a veteran myself, I am appalled that they are using veterans to exploit businesses that genuinely want to provide help.

First time using them and found them to be very professional and helpful with mobile ads for my Real Estate company! We market locally just outside of Los Angeles and seeing our ads shows our clients & future clients that we are all over the internet. This is a branding tool for and not an instant lead generator, and for me at least works as great marketing campaign.

Mario A. As Military Veteran. This Company does a lot for the community across the United States in exchange for a Modern Marketing tool. No other company in the U.S. is going to offer a modern marketing tool and also give back to the community at the same time. They have tons off Veteran Clubs across the U.S. where they have resources for Veterans and there families to us. This company Is one of the largest Veteran own Public Benefit Corporation in the U.S. In order to be designated this, you have prove to the goverment that a large portion of the companies income goes back out to the community. This is the only company I know in the U.S. that does this. Right on "Hometown Hero Project" thanks for helping out the people who keep our communities safe, educated our children and fight for our country.

Home Town Hero Project I was billed for 5 months for $199 for supposed Ads on all kinds of websites and that I would get at least 10 leads in a short amount of time

I was billed for 5 months for $199 for supposed Ads on all kinds of websites and that I would get at least 10 leads in a short amount of time. I was told the amount would only be $1 for the initial ad. I do not see where I approved the Ad -although they state that I had done so. On June 30, I transferred to another agency and in essence had to stop work due to hospitalization of a family member. The family member has recovered, moved back to her home and I have recently gotten back on my feet. I have been actively working with the new local agency. This month I noted the billing of this company on one of my credit cards. I called and was told they could issue a refund at least of the months that I was at the new company - since the "ads" were going to the original company website landing page. My complaint is the lack of transparency in the billing process, the lack of transparency in what websites the 'ad' would be seen, and managements lack of follow up one its 'customers'.

I paid for 6 months upfront for my service of internet marketing. I didn't receive an add or a single call. This is a PONZI company and even though they offer a 100% MONEY BACK GUARANTEE they did not refund the money. Stay away from this company and its affiliates.

Home Town Hero Project I started with this company for marketing services & agree with the complaint filed on 8/3

I started with this company for marketing services & agree with the complaint filed on 8/3. There were problems getting the correct photo to match my business type. Some we my fault due to lack of ability to respond timely, but I had to repeat my request for a more appropriate photo to match my business type more than once. I have been paying religiously for almost a year. After receiving not ONE call (like the customer with the 8/3 complaint), I called & asked if I could be released from the last 3 months of my contract since I had not received ONE call to date. I believe the response I received was less than sympathetic & conveyed a lack of basic customer service skills &understanding of what a customer is requesting & why. After 9 months of paying on time I was told, well we can't make customers call you and no we will not release you from the remaining 3 months left on your contract. This company did not deliver what they promoted & I believe my request should behonored

This company Easygeo, is billing me for services not rendered. I paid for advertising and have not seen any ads while searching in the target area. They tell me they cant identify when or where my ad will appear. They provide me contact data that is not considtent with my with my web monitoring service. I believe all the data they share is computer generated. I should be seeing my ad as i complete the criteria they stated would lead me to my ad. The only way i see my ad is to go to thier web site or request a text copy. They are not publishing my ad as agreed and now owe me $1400 for fraudulant activity. I am seeking a return of those funds.

Easy Geo Fencing, "powered by Community Marketing Partnership," and billing as Home Town Heroes sold me on getting more than 1,000 calls or actions (clicks) in a year for around $1840. After six months and zero calls, I called and was given half my money back, and a promise that I'd get the rest after they corrected the campaign and continued running it as a"click-to-call" campaign. Instead, they closed the account June 18th, and kept half of my money ($919.80). I called because I knew that it was not having any impact as of September 16, and I was told "You're not getting your money back." The company lied to get my money, then they lied about continuing to run the ad's, and then they lied about returning the rest of my money. They have a 100% satisfaction guarantee banner on their website and I was told numerous times that I would be eligible for a full refund if they did not product these actions. They lied, stole, and cheated me for $919.80 and I want ALL of my money back.

I was sold by them six months ago. They promised the world (reach out many). They did provide some reports but I never see the ad when I go the the websites. They also promised some results otherwise would refund refund. Six months ($571) later, no a single call or contact of any kind. It has also been very difficult to make changes to your ad. I am kind of okay with that because I have taken the loss or reconciled this a few months ago. Just let it run out. However, they just CHARGED me another $571 for the next six months. I called and they said the agreement stated a year. I was told I can decide after six months and they tricked me with the contract. It is not a company with integrity and ironically they campaign themself using the veterans. What a disgrace! Scam, Scam, and stay away at all costs.

A sales rep contacted me in Oct 2020 They were selling advertising and lead generation. I was introduced to the world of "geo fencing". I was told that with geo fencing certain "key words" would initiate a potential client interaction and they would call me for a consultation. At first I was reluctant to move forward with the opportunity. But upon my hesitancy the sales rep reduced the cost of the program and told me there is a 100% money back guarantee if I am not satisfied with the results. I thought about it and decided that the results could outweigh the investment. They took my info, they developed an ad that I approved and then they said they would take care of the rest. At first I did not see any results. I received no phone calls or leads. Then the account manager contacted me and made a few changes and sent me the results a few months later. It has now been close to a year and I have not received one single phone call from this ad campaign. they bait and switch

Home Town Hero Project On February 26, I agreed to subscribe to a $1 sign up fee to try out the Home Town Hero Project

On February 26, I agreed to subscribe to a $1 sign up fee to try out the Home Town Hero Project. The salesman explained that the 2nd month would be $198 and thereafter, $199 p/mt. I was emailed the Terms and Conditions from a company called Easy GEO Fencing and was conferenced in to a payment center. While on the phone, I confirmed that my card would be charged on the 26th of each month and reiterated that the ability to cancel would not be an issue. I was reassured there were no catches, but I would need to do it at least 10 days prior to the due date (26th). Since that time, I have not had any calls, text or emails from potential buyers. So, on April 30, I sent an email to cancel my order for May 26th's draft. My rep called me back promptly and I was informed, for the first time, that the payments are paid in arrears. He informed me my add dates began on the 15th of the month, which also had never been disclosed. He explained that in order to cancel my monthly subscription I would need to prepay for the remainder of the May. So another $200 pissed away.

Easy Geo Gemving aka Home Town Hero project has been notified by me 3 times of my intent to cancel services with them . They said that I am in a contract. However I disagree. I havent signed or committed to being stuck in a lengthy agreement. I advised them to not charge my card , but they refused and keep charging $250 per month for literally no results and no service. My next step is to take them to court and I'd rather they just stop taking my hard earned money . I do not want a refund of what they've already taken. I just want this to stop. I will post my experience with this "company" , and I hope that no one else gets this treatment. I have copies of the emails of me asking for them to not charge me any longer , yet they just charged me another 250 dollars today . 8/18

I have enrolled in this program called Easy Geo Fensing, when I 1st enrolled I specifically asked if I can cancel at any time if I am not satisfied with the results. I know I did otherwise I would never had enroll. The agent who helped me lie, because he did tell me yes, I could cancel at any time. Now the same agent its saying he never said that. He told he listen to the recording, which I am not able to listen to and he never said that. I know this its a total lie. I have enrolled in this type of programs before, and had same issues, so I made sure I've asked before agreeing. The company its a fraud, and does not honor agreements. I am so disappointed that they can just lie like that, and not honor our agreement. I want people to know do not make the mistake I have made. And I want this company to stop harassing me with the two last payments. I should get all of my money back, since I never received any business from them, not one call in 4 months.

Home Town Hero Project I initially spoke to a salesperson named *** regarding this service

I initially spoke to a salesperson named *** regarding this service...to put an ad for my realtor services on various websites and would get leads for people who clicked on my ad. Because I was initially hesitant, he told me that normally you can't cancel until 6 mos, but they have cancelled agreements in 3 when someone was extremely unhappy. When I emailed the account manager (***) he tried to give me excuses as to why I hadn't gotten any responses, and also told me the program never agreed to give data. That is what I thought I was buying...data of people who were interested in talking to a realtor. When I asked to see my ad posted somewhere, they could not provide it, nor could they prove that the # of people their dashboard says clicked my ad was real. They can't prove anything is actually real data. I told *** I would not pay past the 3 mo period because I had not only gotten no leads, they could not show me they had actually done anything. They also imply that Easy Geo has an A+ rating with you, but that is deceptive because the Home Town Hero program does, but that is not them. They do not appear in ComplaintsBoard.com at all.

This is a veteran owned business and we are are trying to support our military' community However, I think this is an organized scam targeting veterans You told us that if for some reason it does not work or if we are not satisfied You were going to refund our money 100% no questions $312.00 I, need to know when are you going to refund my money Your services did not produce a single call or lead. We have a stuff of 5 employees and we all try to find any kind of ads from Geo fencing for our office using 5 cell phones and 5 computers . Our search produced no findings / zero results. Because of that reason, we want all our money back within 30 days. We are wondering if were victims of an organized scam.

This company is a scam. I have been signed up with them for 3 months. I have not received any results from their advertising service. I have no idea where the advertising is happening. I have not received one customer contact for my business. They are ineffective at advertising. I have spoke with Louis several times and he just wants to increase the service and the price. They claim I signed up for a 12 month contract, however they only invoice with options to pay by month, quarter or annual. I choose to pay by month. Now Louis is threating to turn me over to collections. This company is a scam in the name of assisting veterans. I want this cancelled, no further calls, no further charges. I advise people to stay away from this origination.

I purchased advertising for a subsidiary of this organization. Community Marketing Partnership sold a membership due monthly for $399. The membership would grant you the opportunity to receive 'leads' of people looking for a mortgage. In the four months, I have had the program running, I have not received one lead! I have asked repeatedly to be let out of my contract, which requires the contact to go for a minimum of six months. I never would have signed if I knew there would be no chance of getting leads using the system. I have been ignored and denied every time I have asked for the contract to be canceled and my money returned. My next step will be the courts.

Home Town Hero Project They called me and told me about their program for advertising real estate in canada

They called me and told me about their program for advertising real estate in canada. And there are other agents in cities close to me and they want to expand. For $1 the prices would be started. For 30 days I would see the ad they will make discuss strategy and see what the company is about. If I cancelled before 30 days then that would be fine. I wanted the 30 days to research and get references (they said they would give me agents info in my area so I could call them) never got the references. Didnt get prompt replies to emails. They sent me a TERRIBLE ad when I said forget it I want to cancel they said they would charge my card 199 for set up because they already paid for my views. Ludacris i said cancel my account and they said they cant cancel until i pay 199. And now i owe them another month because my account didnt cancel in time because I didnt pay 198 to cancel. So essentially they claim I owe them 397 dollars. And it will continue to go up unless I clear the balance because it doesnt cancel unless the balance is $0. I cancelled well within the 30 day set up period that was "no obligation at all". I got no.references. and they are telling me that conversation never happened. But they dint have a recording to prove I am right and they are trying to scam me.

Home Town Hero Project 05/01 I received an advertising call from Home Town Hero Project They sent me an email to approve the ad, and I did not approve the email

05/01 I received an advertising call from Home Town Hero Project They sent me an email to approve the ad, and I did not approve the email and send a response that I will am going to pass on this, because I want to cancel. I should need to use the word CANCEL because I never authorized this to begin with. Never heard anymore from them and One month later they sent the exact same email again to approve the ad and authorized payment, just ignored it. That month they started charging 129 month for ad or advertising in which they can not physically show me where or what these ads look like or if it is being done. They will say they sent you data showing they are advertising, THEY SENT ME NOTHING. I have been calling and I either get a person who tells me that cant cancel and that I need to call this number. When I call that number it goes to VM. I called them back at the number they gave me and only get voicemail where I leave my request to cancel. I've also emailed my initial sales rep to cancel, but I have been charged now for 4 months.I was told i had 30 days to make a decision and a $1 start up fee to get things rolling for that period. I have seen many complaints with the ComplaintsBoard.com on this company and all saying the exact same thing. I have also read their responses to the complaints, not true they charge your card with out authorization, they are suppose to send ad for you to approve and approve payment. they dont answer your calls goes to VM. There are no reports being send to show there is even advertising being done. If they do send that what proof is numbers, THEY wont show you where or if your ad is out there , they tell you they can track that. Your sphere or family will never be able to say OH yeah saw your add.
