Homemark Payment to homemark

We purchased an item via your website on the 29th March. We have had to continuously follow this up as no communication from your side. We made over 10 phone calls from the UK and each time got cut off or put to voicemail. We have still not had the item delivered as your accounts department are too lazy to call your bank to see what the issue is .. we have provided pdf copies of payment and reference numbers and account number payment was made to. We have not heard anything from your accounts department they just ignore us. What more can we do to get this sorted ?

Homemark Air humidifier

I bought three Air humidifier, one for myself and three as gifts. The first one worked a couple hours and went dead, the whole table also where wet, I called homemark and they said it was a bad batch. The second and third one broke in two days from opening the box and had electrical fuses. I can't return the third one as it didn't have a box and was a gift. Shockingly very bad product, still have the invoice and product sadly not the box. Other two they gave me a refund.

Homemark Vodacom Contract

I have been trying to add a line to my contract as a Christmas gift fir our son. Only to find out that I can't be helped as there is an open quote under my name from 2019 which I know nothing about. I call yesterday and spoke to Patricia who assured me it would be sorted out. When I got to Game this morninv to do the contract the open quote was still on the system. I called again and was advised that I had to wait till the 4t January to cancel this quote as the consultant was on leave. They then hang up on me and I have wasted 240mins trying to through to them. This is really bull. When they called me to take out a contract they were quick to me. Now I can get help.

Homemark Milex power airfryer xxxl

I am Zibuyisile Ntombela, Address:20 Ibis Place, Woodhaven Yellowwood Park, Durban, 4004.
I purchased the above mentioned product online in May 2020. It stopped functioning in early November. Emailed Homemark Customer service, and they advised to sent the airfryer to them for assessment then exchange/ return/ refund. Well they told me that they replaced certain part on it which was giving a problem and promised me to post it back to me, that was on the 25th November 2020. On the 5zth December I reminded them to give me the tracking details, only to find that it was not yet done Ref number given is:60929. Homemark product doesn't work

Good Day, i purchased the Pest Magic item from the festival mall branch
last week, and i plugged it in and it doesnt do anything except take up my electricity.it is a waste of money, we still getting all the flies and mosquitoes ect.please can i have refund.
i also bought the silicone lids.it doesnt fot all sizes of the containers.but its fine, i want a refund for the Pest Magic.Its a ripp off

Homemark vodacom contract upgrade

I had a Vodacom Smart S contract. A Homemark agent called and offered me what I thought was an additional data upgrade, which would supplement my Smart S contract data. I approved that but instead they cancelled my Smart S contract and replaced it with a 3G data contract. I need my Smart S more than I need the data. I have tried to call to have this upgrade reversed, but every time I am connected to the Contracts Department, the phone just rings and nobody answers. How can I get this reversed? Homemark robbed of my valuable money by a homemark agent

I bought a speaker which was supposed to be R399 with 850 at homemark

The lady said the speaker was 699 and I had a voucher of R500 and I had to add 350 on top which included delivery.

Homemark agents are busy robbing the clients their hard earned money and no one is saying anything. I want my money and my voucher you can come and take this speaker that you overcharged me with.

Homemark overpaying of products

I have a voucher of R500 and wanted to use it at homemark. Firstly I wanted to buy an ice bucket with Bluetooth and I was told it is sold out. Then I ordered the speaker with mic for that amount. I was told I won another voucher of R4000 and I need to choose between two hampers which were the bicycle and the pot. I chose the bicycle. To my surprise I was told to top up the R4000 voucher with R1800. When I asked for the bicycle picture it was just R1499 and I send email to Bernice Moses who went quite after I gave the reference number. I called again to speak musimandla who couldn't even help me.

I want to cancel this deal. My numbers is [protected]

Homemark electric hoverboard with handle

I purchased a ride on hoverboard from the Chatsworth branch. The unit went faulty. One wheel completely locked up at full speed causing my son to get injured. I took it to the store on the 9 Feb 2019. The staff booked it in for repairs. I went back a few times after to check on it and staff informed me that it was still not back. Every time I went back to store they would indicate that the previous staff had left or was fired. In May I spoke to a Nikita. She indicated that the scooter was not even booked on the system. I sent her all my documents and she promised to get back to me. The store does not have a phone so all correspondence was through email. I then heard after sending a new email n the 1 July that Nikita was gone from the store and again noting was done about my hoverboard (2 months later). Kuben the new Manager tried to help. Again I sent all docs to him. Sifiso from Homemark (head office) then phoned me and notified me that they cannot find the hoverbaord and homemark would send down a new replacement to Chatsworth. I described the hoverboard and that it was the type that is like a Sedgeway and it has a handle. I went to pick up last Friday 12 July. The wrong device was sent. I spoke to the Divisional Manager at the store (Shamit) and we adviced that we would like our money back. He said he would phone us on Tuesday the 16th. Today we phoned him but he had no answer for us and promised to phone an hour later. He did not phone back. I then tried to phone him. Someone by the name of Kustab (Divisional Manager) answered Shamit's phone. He knew about the hooverboard. He adviced that they can't give back the money but that a replacement unit will be received in a weeks time. I would still like my money back on this purchase. We have been without the item for over 5 months now. How are we to buy another product from this store.

Homemark sales

Been calling Homemark since 8am just to speak to a consultant to place a telephonic order! Firstly got shoved from one agent to the other, then got told ill get a call back in 5minutes which is now 3 hours.
Pathetic service is the least to say! Four products to order and have to wait?
I suggest you get your ducks in a row, and your customer service jacked up.

Homemark milex antarctic air cooler - faulty cannot get a refund from them!

Ordered online, sent email with pop - thu, nov 29, 2018 at 12:24 pm.

Informed michelle stevens on 7 dec 18 (the item does not work, there is no cold coming out) - response look at video. I told her I did not receive it on whatsup, she was adamant that she sent it

Went into game cresta on saturday, and saw the same item, and the demo done for us showed this item does not do what it is advertised to do.
Phoned petro, manage of homemark, on monday 10 dec 18 and explained my frustration.
She promised to refund my money and uplift the faulty item.

To date (friday 14 dec 18) this has not happened.

I have phoned many times - no answer or response.

Emailed more than 5 times - no response or answer

Tried to phone head office of homemark, nobody actually cares or are concerned regarding my issue (nb time to me, is of the essence), homemark does not think so.

All above from my side was within the 7 days money back guarantee, but homemark will not give me my refund.
They are worse than thieves, as they are quick to take my money but useless in fulfilling their promises?

Homemark nutrimix blender

On 12/7/2018 I handed my Nutrimix blender in at your Tygervalley branch. Invoice nr 035335. A person named Nizaam. I never heard back from him. I phoned on several occassions when he promised he will get back to me, which never happened. I live in Somerset west and because you dont have a branch here, I handed it in at Tygervalley. I went there in person on 22 October to try to get Nizaam to assist me. He promised to find the blender and get back to me. Again have heard nothing. I phoned this morning, but no respinse. This is really getting redicilous as this is no 3 and a half months since I handed it in. Could you please help.

Homemark floormax 360 topmop

The rotary system on the mop stopped operating all together. When returned to the stpre of purchase, a Game store located in Groblersdal. I was turned back on the basis that the mop did not have warranty. So as this being a homemark product I am writing to you to confirm this statement given to me by the service consultants at the store. Please contact me on [protected]

Homemark unethical behaviour-products not what I ordered and now they refuse to refund my money

On the 9th of July 2018 I received a call from Innocent from Homemark to say that I was a lucky draw winner in an Absa Credit Card/ Homemark prize giveaway. The prize was to the value of R10 000 and I would need to pay in R3000 in order to recieve a 19 AMC Classic pot set, Iron On Hanger, mop and spin bucket, 2x Illuma Lights and 1 pair Memory Foam Slippers. The value of the goods R13 000. What arrived was not AMC Classic pots and I contacted Innocent the next day to say that his courier company must collect the goods. Unfortunately I had to leave to attend a funeral in Port Elizabeth so the return of the goods only happened on 24 July 2018 after I contacted Innocent many times. Every week I phoned to ask for my refund and Innocent and Bongani, his supervisor, tell me that refunds happen on Thursday's. One of the Thursday's was a public holiday and I followed up again today 23/8/18. For the first time in all the communications have I been told of their 7 day return policy. They now refuse to do the return for cash and offer a voucher instead. This is not acceptable. I order AMC Classi, got cheap knock offs, returned all the items and cannot get my money back.

Homemark all of the services offered by homemark and their incompetent staff

I am very, very upset today. You have the most pathetic service and online system and even worse telephonic personnel at your landline/customer service and telephonic orders online telephone numbers

I have a Afrizon Gift card. I could not order online it does not give me option to pay with gift card. I then phoned your telephone service. They do not listen to what you have to say and just transfer you. Then customer service transfer you yet again to telephone ordering consultants who are very rude and then don't want to listen to you and drop the phone in your ears.

I phone 3 times - I still did not get assisted.

Now I want to search for stores and that system is even more pathetic. Imagine I ask for stores in Limpopo and you give me all the stores in Cape Town. Disgusting. 2000 km away from me

Can you please provide me with stores in Limpopo Province where I can visit an talk to people face to face if they are going to be competent. Who knows

Homemark "royal diamond cook set ect.

Good day,

I am very unhappy. Simanga Tombela phoned me and told me that I was one of the drawers that win 75% of a price worth R9999. That include a 19 piece Royal Diamond Cook Set, 2 pairs Polarised sunglasses, 2 sets of lights and 2 pairs of slippers. I didn't want to do that but he told me that if I am not happy they will give me my money back immediately. He also said that I can pay it in two months for the amount of R1300 each in Total R2600. But after we spoke the whole amount went off and I did not bargain for that so I sat with a problem for the rest of my debit orders.

I received the goods yesterday afternoon and I was so disgusted, It was not a Royal Diamond Cook Set (and that was the only reason I agree to this), it is a Chukbok Cook Set witch I can buy on internet for R780 (and I will never buy that because it is cheap quality) and the rest of the goods is also nothing worth to me.

I kindly ask that you pay me my money back as Simanga Tombela promised.

I really needed that money, I couldn't really afford that, and I totally believed Simanga...

Homemark unskilled / rude 'manager'

Last night (11 December 2017) I had a most unpleasant experience in your store at Canal Walk Cape Town and herewith lodge a formal complaint against the person who introduced himself as the 'most senior' person in the store at the time.

On Monday, 4 December 2017, I bought a Polaroid Speaker from the store for R1, 499.00. At the time of buying the item, I asked the salesperson whether I could return the item for a refund if Heart Radio Station (104.9fm) does not play. She assured me that it would play but if it doesnt, I could return it for a full refund. On getting home, we tested the speaker and it did not play the Heart Radio Station. We immediately packed it back in the box together with all the original packaging and accessories. Yesterday morning I contacted the store and explained to the person who answered the phone what the problem was and that I would be returning the item when I finish off at work. She said that maybe I am not tuning it properly. I then told her that if somebody in the store could tune it for me I would be very happy. I added that if it still does not work, I would like a refund. She assured me that it would not be a problem. I do not know the name of the person I spoke to but it was a female.

Last night (Monday 11 December 2017) I returned it to the store (within 7 days of pruchase). The same salesperson who assisted us with the purchase was not in store but the lady in attendance was expecting me. She proceed to try and tune the speaker for the following radio stations as requested by myself:
1.Heart (104.9) - Picked up this frequency but with disturbance
2.KFM (94.5) - Picked up and reception was fair
3.Good Hope Radio Station (95.3 and 96.2) - Picked up and reception was fair
4.Voice of the Cape Muslim Radio Station (91.30) - Could not pick up this frequency
5.Radio 2000 (97.2) - Could not pick up this frequency

After unsuccessfully trying for some time to tune the radio stations as requested by myself, the salesperson moved the speaker to the front of the store to try and tune it. It still did not work and I then requested a refund. She then phoned, I think her manager, and afterwards told me that refunds are not made on promotional items. I told her that I was not told of this at the time of purchase and that the salesperson assured me that I could return it for a refund if the item did not meet my needs. I dont know if and how she again contacted her manager as I asked her what washappening. She told me that she is waiting for the manager to contact her as she could not effect the refund. I then told her that I was just going to find my mom in the mall and that I would be back. I also told her to please tell her manager that I would not leave the store until I received the refund.

On my return, about 20 minutes later, two more gentleman were in the store together with the other two staff members who were there earlier. I spoke to the female who I dealt with earlier and she again said that no refund would be done. One of the gentleman then said something which I cant remember. I then said: "Ok, you are four people here now. Who is the most senior". A gentleman, who looks like an indian person, responded that he was. He refused to do the refund. When I told him that I was told be a staff member that I would get a refund he told me that he would fire them. I said that I did not think it was necessary but that I would just want my money back. Said gentleman then proceeded to phone somebody (I do not know who he phone) and the dialogue was as follows:

Gentleman in store: "Can you tell me who worked last week Monday?"
Person on phone who I could not hear: responded
Gentleman in store: "I want you to give him an instant dismissal letter".
Person on phone who I could not hear: responded
Gentleman in store: "I dont care if it was his first day. If he cant do his work properly he must be dismissed".

The call was then ended and the gentleman says to me: "Are you happy now? I just fired the staff member".

I told him that I did not speak to a male at the time the purchase was made but that it was a female. I again told him that I would not leave the store until I get my money back. He walked to the back of the store and I was then just ignored.

A few minutes later, my husband arrived and asked to speak to the same gentleman. My husband insisted on a refund. He offered us anything else in the store and we refused. After some time, with a whole lot of arguing between the two of them, the gentleman said: "Ok, I will give you a refund. But, can I please have both of your Identity documents. I want to make copies which I will give to Centre Management and I will have both of you banned from entering this mall ever again". We responded by giving him our Identity Documents and told him that we do not care what he does with the Identity Documents. He then told the female worker to give our money back.

This man has been extremely rude to us. And to threaten us with 'banning from entering the mall'?

We feel humiliated by this treatment we received and vowed to NEVER set foot in a Homemark Store again. He obviously lacks the necessary skills to deal with customers.

I herewith lodge a formal complaint against this unknown gentleman and expect to receive some feedback. This correspondence is copied to Centre Management at Canal Walk.

Homemark 15 piece set of pots

I'm having issue in Namibia and don't know where to submit a complaint as the manager was not helpful at the store. I bought a 15 piece set of pots. used it for about a month and the lid of 1 of the pots broke. Which I don't understand cause I spent N$1000.00 on the set, are these not good quality or what? took the lid to the shop where I bought it (Maerua Mall, Windhoek Namibia) where the sales person told me he will get me a new lip within 2 weeks and he would call me when it came. I waited for my call for a month but did not even receive a call that the process is taking longer than usual. So I went there again to query about my lid, I was told by the salesperson that the stock has not arrived that it would take another month. I asked if I could just not get the lid of the pots on display as they had the same 1 I bought in stock. They couldn't, so he suggested I speak to the manager. I went to the manager and explained that I have been waiting for a month for a lid and how was I suppose to cook with no lid and told her that another lip had broken as well. I was told to use the broken lid till the stock arrives in 2 months. Yes not 1 month it has turned to 2 months... I then asked if I could return the whole set as I'm not willing to wait for a lid for 3 months, she tells me no she can't take back the pots. I cant believe this is the advise I get from a manager and that I have to wait 3 months for a replacement lip. This is the worst treatment I have gotten after spending so much on a product I thought was of good quality. I'm very disappointed and will never buy anything there again

Homemark unethical behaviour

I ordered a swifty sweeper on 7 Aug 2017, by phone, as it was advertised on TV for 299. I called in, spoke to Sithembile, i was told R100 for delivery, which brought my total up to the original price of R399. Anyway, i gave my bank info, and they proceeeded to deduct R419.90. I phoned in later that morning to find out why 419.90. No valid explanation was given. Sithembile said she would call me back. To date no phonecall. I then asked for a manager, and guess what there are no managers?! I then called about five times this morning to just cancel my order, spoke with Sydney who was extremely rude and arrogant, acting like he was trying to do me (the customer) a favour. I called their customer care line, another person Debra answered, and was to call me back. Then moments later a Bongani calls me, still no answer. WHY won't they just cancel my order? I just want my money back and have no further dealings with Homemark!.

Homemark top mop plus

I bought a mop on 16 December 2016 the spin meganism of the bucket got stuck after not even 5 months i took it back to the store at cape gate and was told that the bucket must be booked in for repairs witch i found silly cause i need to wait 4 weeks to receive my repaired bucket.i know the mop comes with a 12 month warranty and feel that they could just swop the bucket due to a manafacturing default.
