I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with Home Design. They totally ripped me off with their hours and charges. So, on February 2, these guys came over to move some of my stuff from the cellar to the garage. This dude named *** told me it would cost around $***. I mean, I thought that was reasonable. But guess what? They were only at my place for a little over an hour, and when I got the bill, they charged me for one person working for 7.5 hours, and two more people working for 7 hours each. Like, seriously? That's not what we agreed on! And get this, they drove like 44.5 miles each way, which is like less than 2 hours, and they had the nerve to charge me for all those extra hours times three people. And to top it all off, they even charged me for mileage without even telling me beforehand. Can you believe that? It's just not right, man.

Me and my partner had a kitchen fire in our place on Oct 10, 2021. We needed help cleaning our furniture, so this company called WBN came to check it out. We decided to go with them and they said they could clean our hard surfaces too. We told them we wanted to clean what's cheaper instead of replacing everything. We sent them a message about it on Oct 25, the day before the furniture was moved out. On Oct 26, movers came and took all our stuff. Then on Nov 1, we got these crazy expensive invoices (around $***) and we didn't understand a lot of the charges. I attached an email where we talked about our issues with the invoices (from Nov 7). They sent us a long response on Nov 8, but it didn't really answer our concerns. They also said we had to pay right away or we'd get charged interest. So, we paid them with the money from our insurance company ($***), based on a quote we got from Excel Restoration for the same stuff. We didn't hear anything else until we emailed them on Nov 12 to ask about our things and to get a copy of their business license. They said we couldn't get our stuff until we paid the disputed $8000+, and they ignored our requests for the license even though we asked for it in 5+ emails. On Nov 15, we asked again for the license and got no response. Then on Nov 18, we sent a strong email demanding our stuff back because we found out they didn't have the right license from BHGS. They said they'd take us to court.
