Hillarys Blinds review: Not recommended

I cannot recommend Hillary's. Our experience with the company has been frustrating, unsatisfactory and long drawn out.

We placed an order and paid a deposit in June 2025; our blinds were fitted in July. But they did not block out light as we had wanted and understood to be offered. Since then we have been looking for advice and, we hoped, corrections.

We are very dissatisfied at the service received since we raised our concerns, starting from the fitting of the blinds. Poor responses, long delays, precious little communication, an array of contractors etc have made for a prolonged and frustrating experience. Some of the contractors have arranged to visit, for which we have re-arranged furniture to enable easy access, and not even shown up. Hillary's have acknowledged the problem in a number of emails.
They have now said that their fitters and surveyors advised that our blinds would not do what we wanted so they will do nothing further. Yet, this was not our experience and we would absolutely not have ordered the products had we been informed of this.
We have now ordered new window dressings from a different supplier, as what we have is so poor.
We certainly won't use Hillary's again nor will we recommend the company.
