I recently traveled from Lahore to Riyadh via Bahrain, and when I received my luggage at Riyadh Airport, it was badly damaged. The suitcase was completely new, and most of my other bags — also recently purchased — were broken as well. On a previous trip from Riyadh to Lahore, one of my bag’s wheels was also damaged, but I did not file a complaint at that time. I have been traveling with Gulf Air for the past five years, and although their tickets are more expensive compared to other airlines, I chose them because of their reputation for quality. Unfortunately, this experience has been completely unacceptable.
I also have pictures from a previous trip showing that many pieces of luggage were left directly under the sun, which caused several sensitive items in my bags to get damaged, including melted chocolates and other goods. Overall, I’ve experienced repeated damage to my luggage due to Gulf Air’s handling, resulting in both inconvenience and financial loss.
