Great North Property Management - Very poor response

Very poor response. They only care about getting new customers. My property manager is really hard to get in touch with. There was a medical incident in the building on Friday night, and there are blood stains in the entrance and on the stairs. We made many calls, but they only partially dealt with the issue. I still can't reach the property manager even on Monday. I can't reach the supervisor either. It's now 1:00 pm on Monday, and no one has attended to the problem yet. I can't even reach the emergency line, the property manager, or her supervisor. Who else can I contact?

Great North Property Management - I was in contact with this property management company based in Exeter, NH

I was in contact with this property management company based in Exeter, NH. The attorney, attorney assistant, and property management team have all continuously ignored my emails and phone calls for over a month. They haven't responded to the owners of the property for assistance in simple questions and resolving charges that were disputed. This management Company is untrustworthy and has wrongfully charged two times for work they claimed they did and didn't do! Beware of this company as they will sneak ways into charging without notifying in advance and send bills for work they don't even do or can justify! I am contacting today to ask kindly if you can refund the charges back on my account in the amounts of $225.00 and $168.30. I would like these wrongful charges taken care of as soon as possible. I have e-mail correspondence of property manager showing proof that "he took matters into his own hands". I want a resolution and dispute both charges.

Great North Property Management Great North manages our rental property

Great North manages our rental property. We contacted the landlord who talked to a Great North agent about our rental's temperature falling below the state required threshold for three days between September 15 and June 15 (when heat is required). The Great North agent responded two days later and said "the heat has been shut off" for the season without trying to fix the issue. The landlord then made passive aggressive comments about our request to meet the legal threshold because it was "near June" (within the required legal period for minimum heat). They admitted that the heat had been shut off without any follow-up about the temperature falling below a reasonable standard for a management company that should know and follow all laws about habitability warranties in Massachusetts.

Great North Property Management I've had noisy neighbors for over a year

I've had noisy neighbors for over a year. They stay up all night, claiming to be on "disability" and not having to work. They stomp and bang around until 4AM, and then they go to sleep. They have lots of guests who bring their kids, and they run and play inside almost every day. One of those families, along with four tenants, not counting the many guests, tried to climb into a second-story window at 3AM one night. It seems like one of them is struggling with drug abuse. I'm starting to think that Great North might be guilty of neglecting their responsibilities, despite receiving hundreds of complaints over the course of a year. I plan on reporting this to the state, as Great North refuses to take any responsibility for the tasks they're supposed to handle. I've emailed them multiple times, quoting local condo laws, but they deliberately ignore and disobey those laws, as if they're not accountable to any rules or standards. I've never seen a Great North employee on site, and it seems like they've never done anything. They frequently change property managers and don't pass on emails to the new ones. The new managers appear confused, inexperienced, and ineffective. The only consistent policy I've noticed is their inaction for six months to a year, and then blaming long-term tenants who pay their fees and have lived here for over ten years for reporting violations by recent tenants who started breaking condo rules from day one. This isn't the first time Great North has acted like a corrupt company, collecting fees without taking any action. Five years ago, an illegal daycare was operating in the same unit. For six months, 5 to 6 children or more would run and jump off the furniture, treating the apartment like a gym. Great North didn't do anything noticeable. Eventually, the tenants self-destructed, with one assaulting another and getting arrested, and they moved out on their own. In short, despite having laws to deal with problematic tenants and unscrupulous owners, Great North simply doesn't follow them. The current tenant's lease has been expired for months, and they could be lawfully evicted. But Great North refuses to do anything except complain when you complain to them about their lack of action. Property values drop, owner occupants leave, and sell their units at rock-bottom prices. Then, unscrupulous slumlords buy the units and rent them to anyone. The new tenants are even worse and drive away more decent owners and renters. This cycle has been going on for years. And Great North keeps collecting their fees without addressing the issues they're supposed to handle. I can't help but wonder if the turnover of managers is because guilt eventually drives them to find more ethical employment. If you want your property to become a slum, hire Great North.
