MC Property Management Corporation

Hello, Had a leak in the roof and it damaged the ceiling in the bathroom. All repairs done but the ceiling was left partially primed. So now the ceiling is different colors. I called the Manager Michelle Smith to get an explanation about this partial job that's done. I am being told that it is my responsibility to do the rest of the work as per the association guidelines. I ask for a copy and the reply I get it “you should received it in the mail." Rather than saying “let me email or mail you another copy." I asked why can't each situation be looked at on a case by cases basis and I was told “it's black and white policy." Then she goes further on saying “customers that pay your company and keep your company afloat are “valued clients"? I understand there are rules and regulations with associations but to speak to customers in this manner is inappropriate.

This issues goes back to June 20,2022. My house was hit by a tornado, and i had to leave my home because it was not longer livable. I live in a townhome to be exact. The area i live in is Woodridge Condominiums located in the city of Woodridge, IL. Woodridge Condominiums reports to MC Property Management Corporation. They are both the same people same president. When homes were destroyed by the tornado that night they hired a company by the name of Servpro to do any cleaning up, clearing out homes, mitigations, etc. They were the ones that did most of the work after the tornado happened. When they finished there job MC Property never paid them for the work they did. So time passed by and Servpro put a lien on my home for 1.2 million dollars for the work Servpro did in Woodridge. This to me is unfair that home is a on a lien for someone i didn't hire. MC Property has to pay them for the work they did. On top of all of this mess in the past 8 months MC Property charges me every month association fees for a place i cant live in. This company known as MC Property has done nothing for the people affected and on top of that kicked out more families in December. This company does not want to start construction on the homes that were destroyed. They have not really done any major work to fix the homes. MC Property needs to be there for the people that pay them like me and get all 56 families in their homes. I haven't been back home since June 20,2021. I want my home built and not a cheap company telling me "There's nothing i can do". It's been 8 months and no progress or any support for families that have been affected. This company does nothing but lie to homeowners who pay them. If i can please get any type of help.
