Global Visas Fraudulent Company

I contacted Global Visa in August to request their services (I was desperately trying to secure an appointment with the UKBA to switch the visa I was on which was due to expire). They took a £600 deposit from my account that same day and sent through a client care package (which I never signed or agreed to electronically). I ended up cancelling their services the following business day as I had found a lawyer who could secure an appointment (which they were not able to do). After contacting them for a month trying to secure a refund, getting passed on from person to person, I was told my request for refund had been declined as they had consulted on my case. I never agreed to their Terms & Conditions, I never sent any documentation and they were refusing to refund me the £600. I ended up speaking to Liam Clifford on the phone (the Director of Global Visas) explained my case and he told me "If you ever want to see your money again you'll have to sue me". The same day they charged a further £600 against my credit card (£1, 200 to date) despite me cancelling their services over a month ago and having email documentation that they would not further charge my account. NEVER use this company. They are the most morally corrupt organisation I have ever seen. They are quick to take your money and then you NEVER hear from them again. I am contacting all their accreditations as they should be shut down!

Global Visas scam, cheating and fraud

Hello there, if anyone is thinking to contact GLOBAL VISAS, just stay away because simply it is SCAM, CHEAT and FRAUD. I contacted the company on June this year in order to get a Work Permit Visa to Canada and the next day a nice lady called XUANITTA called me and said that they will make my dream come true . Despite my experience shortage as I told her she made me sure that wouldn't be any problem because they could manage to get a Work Permit Visa with a Job offer to many of their clients with same satuation as me, and that was what attracted me to them. She said normally it costs £1800 but they will make it £1600 for me and that I have to pay £450 first payment as a deposit and the rest due course between 6 to 12 months(the time my application will be taking), so I gave her my Debit Card details as she asked me. She called me back on the following day and introduced me to CARL (who became my case worker) and she got out of it. Once they got my Card details, they took £450 straight away from my account and broke their promises and changed terms&conditions of the agreement made during the first phone call. CARL told me during the next phone call that without a Job offer or work experience it will be impossible to obtain a Work Permit Visa and that I have to pay the of the money in three payments over three months only and said that their main job is to help me searching for jobs in Canada nothing else and ever since he's been calling me nearly every week only to remind me of the next payments despite that I withdrew my application after I knew they lied to me. I asked CARL for refund of my deposit and he told me to e-mail ISAAC (his Manager in the Head Office in London) . I did e-mail ISAAC for refund but instead, they took another £450 two days later and now they are asking me for £900 the rest of the amount of money to be paid (because they can't take any more money from my account) despite that they told first the whole amount of money will be £1600 and not £1800 and I haven't sent them any papers or documents . Ladies&Gentelmen I have no doubt in my mind that this people are dodgy and cheaters and that only what they are concerned about is MONEY and nothing else and the guy called CARL SHEPHERD should be working as a Bank Cashier and not as a Case Worker. Do not believe what is said on their Website please because it doesn't reflect the reality. JAD

To Everyone.I am an ex employee of GlobalVisas. The only way to get money from these scamsters is to Hound them with Telephone calls Every single day.
They are not a legitimate company either so threaten to go to Fair Trading and threaten to sue them.Unfortunately you may have to do this everyday but in the end if the Current manager is convinced that your becoming a bit of a nuisance and taking up company's time when one of their consultants could be scamming someone else your money will be Refunded.
Remember this is not a legitimate company and they do not have a structure and the people working on your Cases do NOT hold immigration license to work on your cases. Most people they scam dont know these issues and that reason is enough to get your refund and NONE of the calls is recorded.

Same here. They promised that I have the required points to migrate to Australia, looted my money and now they want to have IELTS and score 7 in all modules! If they had told me this in the earlier stage, I would have tried to get the IELTS score first before investing money into this scam. Now they want me to try unit I score...to make matters worse as per their terms and conditions all these documents shall be submitted to them within 90 days! I guess I lost the money to these fraudsters...

I literally had the same experince - I losr 1120 pounds to globalvisas - after doing a lot of research I can see that so many of us have been scammed - could we all join forces somehow and coordinate an effort to take globalvisas to a small claims court? Are you interested?

I could not agree more with your experience.

I ended up cancelling my services with Global Visa a day after giving them my credit card details and them charging me £600. I never signed their Terms & Conditions, nor did I send them any documentation and they refused to refund me. I originally spoke to Daniel Ellis, and then once he took the money was passed on to Umesh Aw. Who then said he had been working on my case and didn't know that I was wanting to try and secure a same day service with the UKBA - despite this being the MAIN topic I covered with Daniel on the phone - also, working on what, as I had never sent him any documentation! Umesh then told me he was leaving the company and I needed to speak to Janet. After emailing Janet for nearly a month she came back to say my refund request had been declined. I challenged back for them to show me what they had been consulting on, but they stopped replying to my emails. I then spoke to Liam Clifford, the Founder of this morally bankrupt company, and he told me "If you ever want to see your money again you'll have to sue me". That same day a further £600 was charged against my credit card.

This company is absolutely vile and should be shut down. I urge everyone who has dealt with them and no doubt had the same experience to contact their accreditations and file a complaint so that further people do not become victims of this company.

Global Visas illegal contract

The Global visas is a totally fraudelent company. They first speak to customers, take their details then charge a part of fee then send a detailed contract with strict conditions. This contract says that if you pay the fee or part of it, it means you have signed the contract. This term they do not speak on phone or by email prior to taking the money, it is illegal to hide this important information from the customers and binding then in an unseen, unsigned and unkown contract. They do not do proper work but just call and ask for further payment. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY SERVICE.

Global Visas no service!! but still took my money

I first contacted Global Visas in May 2012 to discuss a visa application for Australia. They made a lot of promises about how they would contact me every week and had a high approval rating. I agreed to pay the fee gave them my credit card details. After that it all went down hill! They sent me a letter stating how they would assist me. The letter was supposed to contain examples to guide me in completing the application but they were not attached. Over the next two months they never kept to a single appointment time. I sent numerous emails requesting a call but this did not happen. I wasted so much of my time trying to contact them and they never bothered responding. I have been trying to get a refund for over a month now and they are completely blanking me. I have contacted my credit card company to try to retrieve the payments as no service has been provided. I will also be contacting BBC watch dog about this company. If you have had similar experiences with Global Visas please get in touch. The more people the bigger the complaint.

I have had an 11 month nightmare with Global Visas. They owe me £2160 and are refusing to refund me, even though i emailed them not to authorize payments. I am trying to get my money back through my debit card company. I have forwarded all my complaints to BBC watchdog, we should keep hassling watchdog so they can name and shame this disgraceful, thieving company. I have also contacted Nik Sommerlad of the Daily Mirror who has already investigated Global Visas several times. There is a Gobal Visas Facebook rip off page so join that as well. THEY NEED TO BE STOPPED !

Global Visas pathetic service and no refund

I contracted Global Visas Cape Town late last year to assist me in emigrating to Australia. I was told that I must pay upfront R20 000 (2000eur) for the services. In order to gain all the necessary points, I had to submit an RPL (Request for Prior Learning) since I did not complete my degree. Plus I had to send a DETAILED reference (this is not your usual reference whatsoever) for each employer I worked for. Well, unfortunately, in reality some businesses close and people move on and since I have over 8 years IT experience you get to see this everyday. I could not get detailed references from many companies as they either closed or refuse to give out detailed references apart from certificates of service. I was told to produce statutory declarations and have them signed and stamped by police officials for each company I could not get a detailed reference (3 of them in total). I got a detailed reference from my current employer which I was happy about since I worked for them for about 5 years now). I sent all documents to be checked by GV Cape Town, Nawahl Amien was the case manager. And I was informed that everything was ok. I paid ACS (Australian Computer Society) and my case manager sent the documents to Australia to be assessed. Three months passed and I got a negative reply, which meant I could not proceed any further. The ACS informed me I only worked for 4 years! This meant my declarations and everything else was for nothing! I asked Nawahl Amien what do I do now and I was informed that I would either appeal (with the same documents are you kidding me?) or try another route of getting a job through GV in Australia. Let me put it clear right here! I am certainly not impressed by the wishy-washy manner in which I, as a client, informed of these things. I never get any replies from GV since this fiasco emerged and I formerly requested a refund since I am not happy with the services (lack thereof) when asking for the simplest of things. I wanted the exact reason why my application failed - I appointed Nahahl Amien to be the primary liaison between ACS and myself. I receive no updates and I have requested for a refund. To date, I have heard NOTHING! I was told that documents would need to be sent to the UK office for a refund and if GV Cape Town is found contravening the contract they will payout the refund. Here is the problem: I have asked repeatedly for the manager's email in Cape Town (no success), I have asked for documentary evidence and feedback on the refund process (no success). I have even contacted the UK branch to find out what is going on and I receive no help.

Let us end this fiasco amicably and have the courage to actually contact me instead of me threatening action against Global Visas and wasting resources trying to get this thing closed! DO THE RIGHT THING GLOBAL VISAS!

Global Visas scam

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

You will pay money over and get nothing in return. Read all the other comments and it's the same old story. Even when positive feed back is entered on these types of sites there are always 3 or 4 entries on the same day! How many times are the complaints entered on the same day? I'm sure the contracts you sign are watertight from a legal point of view and it reads that they do not care about you once they have your money.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

It's about time the Government and the authorities in the UK stood up and protected it's people against companies like this and shut them down.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Has the Government or any of the authorities in the UK got any balls! How many more people have to get mislead by false promises and loose money.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Maybe Dominic Littlewood from the BBC should have a look into the company under the Fake Britain umbrella or even Panorama. That would make interesting viewing!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I wish everyone the best of luck in getting your money back.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

If someone is having problems with an immigration matter relating to New Zealand the best course of action is to lodge a complaint with the Immigration Advisers Authority, a government department which manages immigration adviser licensing. Advisers found to be in breach of the Licensed Immigration Advisers Code of Conduct can be stripped of their license and fined.

My husband was on. Google looking for visas for us to move to Australia and he came across global visas. Next think you know I have them phoning me looking £2500 pound to get our visas. The agent said he would find my husband a job as a motor mechanic even though he has a degree in engineering and already works on the oil rigs in Australia. I told the agent. All of this and he still carried on spouting rubbish . He kept asking me for the money or a bank transfer or from a credit card, I told him I didn't have access to our bank at the moment as my hubby was away on a training course and that he was infact only enquiring about the services of global visas . They are now still after 3 days calling me 20, 30 times a day . I am so glad I didn't give this scam of a company my money, my hubby is receiving emails from them asking him to pay up . Google have a lot to answer for, maybe they receive a cut of the money you lost !

...or just go to any google ad run search engine and type in Global Visas and click on the Global Visas Ad link, yeah sure Google will charge them a few pence for this... but if 1000 users do the same, and 10000 more well you get the point! Bankrupt them or stop them from advertising on Google!

BEWARE... This company is a scam.We paid them nearly $1000 to apply for a work visa in South Africa. They promised to obtain the visa within 60 days. They promised to contact us weekly with status reports. which they neglected to do so. After 90 days they acknowledge that the person assigned to work on this was fired (or left the company) and they couldn't find any of the paper work. After an additional 30 days they acknowledged that no action had been taken on their part to apply for the visa. When asked for a refund, OLIVER LEITCH, acknowledged that "Globalvisas was negligent" yet refused to provide us with a full refund. He informed us: "The fee we charge covers:

. Advocacy and advice from your immigration consultant and Case Manager
. A comprehensive case review
. A report on your immigration options
. A detailed list of the documents you may require to support your case and detailed definitions of these documents
. Access under license to our proprietary case management systems
. Submission of the application is done free of charge and is an additional service we offer our clients."

Pay special attention to his last sentence! In my opinion, this company is acting in a fraudulent manner.

I applied through Global visas in August 2013. Before applying they said you are eligible. I even asked clearly how much Score I shoul score in IELTS. They didnot replied directly but they tricked me with their words and promise me they will help me get canadian PR anyway. I applied and gave them almost £1150 till now but got no any support. Every time I call my case manager. he never receive his call and if you email him he will say no thing important and they really don't help you in your each and every step to collect documents. All they do is after your money. Please do not apply through this company. (Globalvisas.com). Speciall Khurram who is one of the advisor in Global visa. Front of house, whose name is Kyla, Who will dose you in her words to apply. Andrew who is one of the Case manage. They all are stupid and waste your time.
Now when I stopped paying them £450 which was also last installment of their fees, then I received an email that they will send a report to Debt Recovery Agency which I think They did as I have received an email recently which clearly states that mine detail is been sent to Debt Recovery Agency.
Now my question is we are paying money to get help and for their services, but if I haven't received necessary help why should I pay them. I am from Nepal and I know very less people here and have no Idea how to get my money back from them. If there is any one who can help me please do leave a small message to me and I will get back to you.
At last I would like to say to every one PLEASE DO NOT EVEN CHOOSE GLOBAL VISA.
Samir.

I agree, the following is my complaint and am still awaiting on Global Visas (Cape Town) to even bother to contact me: ...

I told Jitesh Singh (at Global Visas - Cape Town) my story regarding a Visa. He said that I would defintely have a Visa at the price of R2850.00.

His continuous phoning was boarding on harrassment to get me to pay. I was a little suspicious but thought that they are after all an International Company.

Two days after I had paid, and I still have the confirmations, I received a call from him to say that his Manager has increasede the fee to R4500. Mr Jitesh Singh quoted me telephonically and in writing.

I declined this amount and he said his Manager said I should be refunded. Jitesh insisted he was awfully sorry but would get a case-worker to contact me and make sure I had a visa for the R2850 originally quoted.

No case-worker phoned so I told Jitesh Singh that the behaviour of the company was unacceptable and I would rather have the refund that his Manager had offered

On 10 September 2011, I was promised that I would have my refund in two weeks. Then it was the end of October and now I am still waiting and Jitesh Singh is still promising. I have tried to be patient but Global Visas have my hard earned cash and it does not belong to them.

Global Visas unprofessional / scam

Good morning

I have applied 1 year and 3month ago for a Spousal Permit through Global Visa Cape-town.
The permit has been approved last year June..

The lady who was responsible of my case phoned me and asked me to send her my passport since my permit is in cape-town and they need my passport in order to get stamp.
After I sent the passport, the lady informed me that the cape-town home-affairs lost my permit.

I did contact the Cape-Town home-affairs(where I applied for the application) in order to ask them when I will get the stamp on my passport.

From what they told me, the stamp and permit got lost and they don’t know where is it.
I talked with a lady from the Cape-town home-affairs office and she told me that she can see on the system that my permit has been approved but the main office which is Pretoria, sent the permit to the wrong place and they don’t know to where they sent it.

The lady also told me that she will talk with Pretoria office in order for them to re-issue the permit or to find out to where they sent the original permit.
She told me that the process will tale between 1-2 weeks till I will receive my stamp.
I’m waiting for already a 5 month and there is no change.

I decided to phone to the Pretoria home-affairs and to check it by myself.
When I talked with the Lady from the Pretoria home-affairs, she told me that the supervisor from Cape-town home-affairs must contact them in order to check to get the correct location to where they sent the permit.
She couldn’t tell me to where they sent it.

I talked with the Cape-town home-affairs and there is still no answer.

Im waiting for this stamp for more than 1 year and 3month.
Since I don’t have the stamp on my passport yet, I can’t open bank account and can’t even make contracts.

When I signed with Global Visa, they guaranteed that the all process will take maximum 3months and now it's almost a year and three months.
I talked with the Global-visas cape-town supervisor last year november and he said that he re-submitted my application.
2 months after, he ask me to send him my passport as the application has been approved.
i sent him my passport and when i received it back, i noticed that the stamp that they gave me is from 2 years ago when i applied by my own.

I talked with the guy from Global-Visas again 2 months ago, he asked me to send him the passport once again, and guess what? still NOTHING!

I asked them to give me my money back, if not it will be considered as a fraud.

All i can say is that i will never recommend their services for a person who i care of.

Report Global Visas to The Office of Fair Trading and report them for fraud at www.actionfraud.org.uk. Then sue them. You can do this online at Moneyclaim Online http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/MoneyTaxAndBenefits/ManagingDebt/Makingacourtclaimformoney/DG_195688

Similar to many who have handed over their hard earned money, I trustingly paid £1920 to Global Visas, having been assured that I was elligible for a nominated occupation. I disagreed and strongly queried this as I felt unqualified for the chosen occupation. The application was unsuccessful for reasons of not meeting the required criteria, as I had insisted from the start. Being portrayed as 'experts' I allowed them to act on my behalf.
I was told to do the IELTS acedemic examination costing £115 and learned later that the general test would have been sufficient. Plus a further £205.18 was paid to the Skills Assessment Authority.
I have sent e.mails and made numerous 'phone calls to no avail. They just ignore my request for a refund fobbing me off with 'we will contact you soon' etc. It must be mentioned that I only opted to deal with them because they promised a refund if unsuccessful.
What comeback do we have as ordinary innocent people against these large Companies? I am out of pocket and shattered but, because I am determined to live in Australia, will have to start all over again. I have been told by another Visa Company that it was obvious that the wrong visa and category was applied for. Please help me know what my next step should be to get fairness and closure of this matter.

I have had a terrible time with Global Visas and wasted over a year working with them now. I started working with Global Visas at the beginning of 2011 thinking they would make my life easier as far as the application process goes for a 176 Visa to Australia. WELL, IT WASN'T LONG BEFORE THINGS STARTED TO GO MASSIVELY WRONG! Another reason for going through them was that they offer a money back guarantee if it is deemed they made a mistake in the application. Anyway, I have parted with almost £2000 for what I believe is just a complete scam as from the beginning I queried the agents decision on what occupation I should apply for for my skills. Anyway, to cut a long story short I asked for a refund after my application returned unsuccessful from ESOL as I predicted due to not having the qualifications etc for the job. I complained to Global Visas several times and have not heard anything. They have even closed my online case profile that Global Visas have. I have complained to MARA and Citizens Advice. The list goes on. I don't know what to do next but to perhaps go through a lawyer or solicitor. I'm absolutely gutted that this Company is getting away with conning thousands of people. Such a shame...###!

I would like to know how you fare in trying to sue Global Visas and how much it will cost you to hire a lawyer. I was also taken by them. I have proof of all the emails I sent them trying to confirm what the original slick salesman told me. None of it proved to be true. They do not get you that all important job and make you do all the work. You stand a much better chance without giving them your beleagured budget. Is it worth fighing and trying to get our precious money back? We are in South Africa so an english lawyer would probably be prohibitive with the exchange rate. What if all those who have been conned bonded together and someone represented us all? Or maybe there is some body that can do this rather than throwing good money after bad?

We handed over the deposit as requested after repeatedly making sure that a refund would be given if they did not hold up their end of the contract. We were given assurances there would be no problems and a refund would be given if such a circumstance happened. We have sent numerous messages but have received no replies. They were very quick to take our money but not so quick to make things happen and do what they say they will do.
This company should be black listed. They take money but then do nothing for it.

Choosing Global Visa is my ever big mistake in life. I paid an initial Php30, 000 for my papers to be reviewed and submitted to the centralized intake office. They informed me that my docs were being submitted to CIO already, but it was just stored in their branch office in UK.It took 6 months before I discover the truth. I retrieved my papers in their Cebu Philippines office but there were some missing. I send my papers on my own to CIO but it was too late, the limit has been reached for my occupation. The worst, they never returned my Php30, 000.00.

Global Visas breach of contract

Almost a month ago, I got services from Global Visas in order to process Canada Immigration Visa. When we were preparing our case, we determine that they have provided us inaccurate information. We have all evidence that our issue was right but they did not admit it. Consequently, we cancelled the contract. Our matter seemed to be solved but they still deducted money from my account. When we asked to return it they refused and said you have to pay full fee although we did not take their representation. Infact they are breaching the contract. We are also complaining ICCRC which is is regulatory body for their registration. Along with, we are suing this company to get our money back at any cost!

Global Visas global visas scam - dont trust them

Dear anyone reading this,

I am writing this here to warn people about the ridiculously bad service that I received from Global Visas and how they pretty much scammed me, wasted my time and didn’t provide me with anywhere near the service that they "CLAIM" to provide on there website. DONT FALL INTO THE SAME TRAP I DID AND PLEASE DONT TRUST THEM WITH ANYTHING. I am writing to try warn people considering using their services to stay well clear and avoid the nightmare that I experienced for 18 months of my supposed VISA application.

I spent countless hours phoning, emailing, leaving messages trying to get in touch with case workers and every time my messages were either ignored or covered up with a load of b%$£%$t lies and false information. It was the worse experience of my life and nothing that i would wish on anyone applying for a stressful situation like a VISA.

To cut a long story short, 18 months after I had opened my case with them, after they had said my application would take 4-6 months, they provided me with the excuse that my "application had been lost in the post" and had never actually been submitted to the relevant Government Authority. They offered my to resubmit my application and i would receive 50% of my fees back!?!?!? What a complete joke... It was only after I threatened them with legal action that they actually refunded the full amount fees that I had paid for their service.

However they continued to lie right up until the last point of contact saying that "They had sent my cheque in the post". This never arrived so I started legal proceedings and sure enough, the day after I issued them with this information the cheque arrived in the post! The date on the cheque was the day they said they were going to send it out, but the postage stamp was the day I issued legal proceedings! How stupid can they be?

I could write forever on the problems that I encounter during this year and a half of hell but i hope that i have managed to highlight to anyone reading this the seriousness of their shear lack of professionalism and expertise.

PLEASE AVIOD GLOBAL VISAS AT ALL COSTS AND DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND RESEARCH YOUR APPLICATION IN FULL BEFORE MAKING A DESCISION.

I just hope that this message is read by someone considering to use their services, please aviod them at all costs.

My husband who is a English national contracted with this horrible company after finding them online. He is trying to join me in the U.S.. He paid them over 5000 GBP/8075 US D, and received nothing for it. They will assign you a case worker, that person will change many, many, times, (and they never notify of this), and don't email them because the new worker who takes over your case, will never check the emails of the case worker who vanished, . Your emails will go unanswered. They will tell you things you need to do, however it will be based on old/outdated info. They wont tell you of foreseeable problems with your case, either because they don't know, or just don't care. I believe however its both. You will make countless phone calls to them before getting an answer, and it will be wrong. Our case was on hold with the USCIS for months as requests they had sent to their attorney were returned to them address unknown, found out when I called the USCIS. Long story short, visa denied. We hired a US attorney for 4000 US D/ 2476 GBP to now file our waiver, and it was done correct BY someone we could talk with everyday who had a educated knowledge of the process. If you think you cant afford an attorney please don't fall for their payment plan scam, many Real attorneys will also do payment plans, and at half their priceYou can also do it yourself if need be, just Google immigration blogs there's loads of free info out there as well as on the web sites of the country you want a visa to, JUST PLEASE AVOID globalvisas.com, and best of luck :)

i have the same experience with Global Visa. Last August 2011 they convinced me to apply as skilled worker in canada. i said im not ready financially because they are charging me 1800 then i have to provide show money as well. they phone me again after a week and they said i will loose great opportunity if i don't pursue it that time. they gave me time frame of 8-12 months from the time they will debit my first payment. They said all was included in 1800-including visa fee. they also told me if i didnt get any visa i can have my money back
I gather all my documents and a struggle to pay them monthly and when i finished paying, they just said i have to pay for my lodging fee separately. its a nightmare but i still cope just to end the argument.
I visit their office because they are not replying to my emails but they didnt show up.
Just when Im browsing the net I found out skilled worker was closed in Canada. they said they are sorry they didnt informed me. and i have to wait for July 2011 to lodge and they give me another deadline? are they mad?
they are so unprofessional. i said i dont want to continue because im not happy with the service and the time frame they promise had lapse. they said I cannot have my refund..Everything they said was lie just to get money from people. i regret everything.

Global Visas - fraudalent business

I inquired the service of Global Visas, Canada on April 6, 2011, to assist in getting a Philippine Visa. I never looked for complaints regarding Global Visas, Canada. However, I spoke with a gentleman who was interviewing me to see if I qualified for the service. Right away he said I qualified and they can help me with the Visa. He said they had a lot of...

Global Visas I do not feel terribly happy and want a way out to penalize them

I have faced the rut of Global Visas pathetic service and greed for money. I have therefore made an effort to complain to OISC against Global Visas, although it took nearly 8 month for them to reach a conclusion, finally Global Visas have been found to breach the following OISC codes: Code 34: All advisers must ensure that their clients are kept regularly informed of the progress of their case, and, at a minimum, clients should be updated at least every three months. Code 61: An adviser who charges for their advice or services must only charge a fee for which they are legally entitled. Code 62: Where monies or fees are taken, an adviser must keep accounts, including a distinct written record of the transactions undertaken for each client. Code 87: A client's records must be made accessible to the client upon their request. Code 88: An adviser must, without delay, having regard to the urgency of the client's business and to ensure that the client's affairs are not prejudiced, give or send the client's documents to the client or such other third party as they may request in writing. Future Action These breaches will be recorded and considered with any application from Global Visas for continued registration with OISC. Other Points The evidence in this case has demonstrated a breach of the Commissioner's Code of Standards and has raised concerns with regard to Global Visas' charging policy and the discrepancy between terms being offered to clients and Global Visas' terms and conditions of business. I have the original letter with the full investigation report and verdict. However, OISC neither offered any compensation to me nor fined Global Visas for these breaches. Hence, I do not feel terribly happy and want a way out to penalize them.

Global Visas ielts score differes from person to person

Hi, I am a Chef by profession. I had filed my case last year in February 2010. When i had filed my case they had told me few point for me to clear the criteria for getting the Citizenship of Canada. It all started when, I had completed my payments of fees month by month. They asked me to process the file by my IELTS score in each module 7 bands, which i was unable to score. Recently I had been to India, and there i tried to apply again for the eliability for Canada. To my suprise; I found the Delhi office aggred to re- open my case on my less bands, as my experience and my education is enough for the required points to apply for immigration rules to be a Citizen of Canada. I was temped and paid addition fees to re-open the file which was closed by one agent because I did not score enough bands in IELTS. According to the Delhi agent it will take maximum 6-8 months time to process. I have paid on 8th April'2011, and on repeatly calling them regarding the required document needed to be uploading, do I need to them again. There is no reply of my email or phone call as on date.
I feel this is the way they temt the people to make addition cash.
Please help me what should I do to get my money back.
Parizad

Global Visa is a doggy n a fraud company. Horrible customer service. All they want is to get the money from their clients and then they disappear.. I would never suggest anyone to go to them even if u have extra money to spend. I had applied for my canadian visa from their sydney office and as soon as we paid our fees fully their behaviour changed. No response to our queries and questions. Its been a year now I dont know who my case officer is, they have charged me twice for visa fees by mistake and when we asked how to get the refund for wrong charged money their answer was WE CAN NOT DO MUCH. As a frustrated customer I emailed them about my problem hoping this time I will get some solution, the stupid agent replies me arrogantly that its not their job and $3000 which they charged was their consultation fees and that she cant do much and I have to find my own solution. Now, I am writing this only to alert all other ppl out there trying to go to them, plz dont go.. Do a gud check for all the agents before you go anywhere..

hi i too lost my money for nothing, my mistake i goggled for Australian immigration and i spoke to them .

global visas says, our fees are for providing our expert information and advice during our consultation .consultation takes place within 72 hours of becoming our client ( THEY WONT CONTACT YOU AFTER FIRST CALL AND YOU DON'T GET ANY ANSWER TOO) .you may pay a deposit but you must pay rest of the fees with in 30 days. We will take the money from your account if you make the first payment by credit card or debit card .we can take the next payment from the same card.( NO DOUBT ONCE YOU GAVE YOUR CARD DETAILS YOU LOST YOUR 2000 POUNDS ) .at this stage consultation has been completed and therefore services rendered in line with our contract .

there for your clients claim that the goods haven't been received is with out substance and in fact a fraudulent action .
as per global visas i lost 2000 pound and am a fraud . thanks to Google .

anyone charges the money in advance is a fraud and cheater plain and simple no questions asked.whenever people ask you to pay certain money in advance just tell them you would pay double the amount that you are asking but once the job is done successfully this is how you deal fraud people.

COMPLAINT AGAINST GLOBAL VISAS ( FAKE AND SCAM ORGANISATION )

I started my free assessment on GLBOAL VISAS website in the third week of November 2012 to check whether I qualify for the CANADIAN IMMIGRATION or not.

Very next day I received a phone call from customer services representative SHARMIN and we arranged a meeting in the last week of November 2012. She started discouraging me about the genuine CANADIAN IMMIGRATION although I was eligible for it. In the meantime she started giving me advice about LIVE & WORK in CANADA. She gave me poor advice and was making false claims of success while representing global visas. She told me, ‘securing a job in Canada is not a big deal for global visas as they have very good links with the employers and have their own recruitment agency. We will secure your job and then we will apply for LMO (LABOUR MARKET OPINION). You will see the results and if global visas will be unable to secure a job, a full refund will be given’.

Global Visas agreed to charge me £1800 for the full job (Live and work/LMO) and in 4instalments. First instalment I paid them in the office through my debit card of £450 and asked them for the written agreement and receipt as well but nothing provided.

Then they gave me login and password to access my account and I ticked the terms and condition to access my account as how they trap their clients to enter into a fake agreement. It was my biggest mistake as it was client care letter and when I read it, everything was opposite as described by the customer services representative ( SHARMN )

.I spoke to them personally in the office but I never got a written agreement for my case. Then they started applying for the jobs on my behalf and they started charging my debit card without my permission and I never allowed them to take payment in any form as it was related to the progress of the case according to my first meeting with SHARMIN.

So In reality, progress of my case with facts and figures was as follows

Total No of jobs applied:

January (09/01/2013) 5 jobs

February (11/02/13) 5jobs

Total No of links sent to me:

January (from 9 – 24) 38

February (11/02/13) 07

More than 60% of those links sent to me were not relevant with my experience, or the positions were outdated or expired. (All related emails attached)

And here are some facts I am going to describe about payments

Global visas charged me for the work not had done, charged my account without my permission and in advance sometimes more than 2 weeks

My first instalment was due on Sun Dec 23 2012

And payment was taken out on 21/12/2012 (2 days earlier)

And I was unable to use my funds 10 days earlier

My second instalment was due on Tue Jan 22 2013

And payment was taken out on 17/01/2013 (5 days earlier than agreed time)

And again I was unable to use my funds 12 days earlier

My third and final instalment was due on Thu Feb 21 2013

And I was unable to use my funds 15 days earlier than agreed instalment date.

I spoke to my bank all the times and they told me payment has been initiated by global visas so you are unable to use your available balance.

On 16 March, 2013 I stopped GLOBAL VISAS for all the services and hard work which they are providing me from last 4 months as I was totally disappointed. I just asked my case worker about refund policy as I didn’t receive any written agreement and next day she sent me an email regarding to the ‘UNSUCCESSFUL REFUND’ according to the terms and conditions of FAKE CLIENT CARE LETTER which GLOBAL VISAS got ticked by me FRAUDLENTLY.I initiated a written complaint to them as I am unable to speak or see personally any manager or directors, they don’t allow me and they have taken all the payments which is mis- sold of their fake services and fraud on the name of immigration. I got same response as according to client care letter, they have provided me all the services and my account is closed.

They charged me around £1620(10% discount) for changing the format of my CV and 10 applications in reality on my behalf especially no any application from last 7 weeks (before account closed) after the clearance of all instalments. They charged my debit card for the work not had done and without my permission and mostly in advance.

By seeing all the reality which I described earlier in detail about professional negligence and inappropriate services full of false claims of success and fraud agreement never signed provided by global visas to me, I am fully qualified for full refund according to their own so called client care letter.

Global Visas unproffesional and extremely poor response systems

Dear All,
Global Visas is the worst proffesional services agency you could ever work with. I guess their main interest is only the money and not whether the customer is satisfied or not. This is right from the sales rep to the customer service manager to the head of complaints department. All of them only run a bogus operandi.

I had applied for my UK work permit through Global visas and it got rejected on the grounds that the tax letter which I had provided did not have the stamps of accredited tax agencies on the consultants letterhead. All my papers had been checked by GLOBAL VISAS before submitting my case to the consulate. I have lost almost a lakh due to their carelessness and the least they can do is either refund me half or the full amount. Even after sending continues several emails (to my case manager and also head of complaints dept) I havent received one single decent reply from them. What they feel is if they ignore the customer we will forget and let go.

It is frustrating that such bogus companies are allowed to function. They should be taken to task. Luckily I have a copy of all the emails which I have sent to date.

I hope someone from Global Visa reads this and reacts positively.

Hello everybody, I would like to advice anyone who is thinking to contact GLOBAL VISAS to change his mind because simple it is a CHEAT, SCAM and DODGY. Here is my story and what I suffered from them so far:
Just last June I cntacted them in order to get a Work Permit Visa to Canada, they sent an e-mail telling me that somebody will call me and that what they did two days later. On the phone one lady asked me why did I choose Canada in particular and I said because it is the country I like to live and work in as a Welder and she said to me we will make your dream come true and I said but I haven't got any sort of experience so would that be a problem and she replied and said with confidence: not at all because we had many clients like you before and we still good manage to get them Job Offers with work Visa and I said great and on that condition I am willing to work with you and she said no problem and the case work will cost you £1800 and we will reduce it to £1600 as special offer for you but you have to pay £450 first as deposit and the rest of the amount of money should be paid through the process which will take between 6 to 12 months and I said no problem and I agreed to that and I gave her my Debit Card details she asked me for and she told that will call me back the next day and she did and introduced me Carl who suppose will be my case manager. During my very first conversation with Carl he changed all the Terms&conditions discussed between me and that lady(Xuanitta) and said that I have to pay the whole amount of money (which is £1800 and not £1600 as that lady said) in four payments in a space of three months and said that without any Job Offer or experience there will be no chance of getting me a Work Permit Visa and I said but that was not what I agreed for and he said that is how our system works. After what they have done to me I decided stop any work with them and to withdrow my case which hasn't started yet since I haven't signed and sent any papers and documents yet. When I asked for Refund of the £450 (first payment) my case manager asked me to write to the head manager (Isaac) and I e-mailed him many times without replying to me, instead they took another payment £450 from my account in July. I am trying now to find a way to get my money back. I hope that nobody will get through what I did so far because simply those people are trying just to get money by lieing and cheating instead of doing a clean and proper job. Jad

Global Visas fraudulent charges and lack of service

My husband and I live in London and arrived here in 2010 on a Tier 2 work visa - due to a change in jobs we realized we would need to transition to a Tier 1 visa quickly as the window for this particular visas was closing in April 2011.
We contacted Global Visas on February 3rd and talked to a very enthusiastic sales agent (Ritesh) who listened to our situation and told us we were great candidates and they could assure us that the application process would run smoothly and correctly. They requested the entire sum of money up front (1, 400 GBP) before allowing us to speak to our case manager. We were able to end up putting down a 250 GBP deposit with a 30 day payment plan on the understanding that we wanted to speak to an actual case manager about our case before committing ourselves.
I was called back by a very impatient and rushed individual by the name of Marcin who spent about 3 to 5 minutes reading me off a laundry list of documents that I needed to get to them. As this list is available on the UK Immigration website I was already fully aware that these were needed. Any attempt on my part to ask a question or clarify our situation was met with 'yes yes yes, that's fine' which led me to believe he was not taking in a single thing we were saying and was just doing what he needed to do so he could 'check a box'.
My husband and I already had most of the documents on hand and had the rest expressed mailed at our expense from the states and uploaded to their system over the weekend. Monday arrived - nothing. We had already emailed several clarifying questions over the weekend and now we began to call and leave messages on Marcin's line to no avail. It wasn't until Thursday, several days and calls later, that we were able to track our case manager down on the phone - not because he returned our call but because we managed to get the original sales agent (Ritesh) on the line and had him get up and go track down the case manager in the office and made him pick up the line. Turns out the case manager had been on leave the entire week and was leaving again the next day on Friday. Right. And the pesky job of looking at our case or documents? Apparently very annoying for him. And surprise - the information Global Visas requested us to obtain from the states - was wrong. They had us request the wrong time period. We had to go back and repeat the process all over again. Thanks to excellent service providers in the US we were actually able to get these documents by Friday. However, we were told that it would not be possible to submit our application the following week with no reason provided. As our case manager was still on leave we can only assume that he chose not to complete our application or review our documents. At this point we realized we were better off submitting the application ourselves then dealing with a company that scheduled our extremely time sensitive documents around their annual leave and couldn't be bothered to return emails/phone calls or review our documentation in a timely manner. We understand that everyone needs a vacation once in a while - but please assign us someone who actually plans showing up to work and following through with what they have promised to do. It was made clear by us that our case was very time sensitive and needed to be handled in a timely manner. Clearly this was lost on Global Visas.
We informed them of our disappointment in their lack of service and response (both on the phone and via email) We were careful to clearly spell out that we were terminating the relationship and that our bank had been instructed not to allow any further charges as none were authorized. We arrived at their offices to take back our original documents and we were told they were sorry for how things were handled and asked for a 2nd chance. We told them that at this point we simply didn't have the time and would be filling out our own application and submitting it ourselves that day. At this point we believed the issue to be over.
Global Visas sent us an email the following morning (by operations manager - Adrian Baxter) claiming we owed them the remaining balance for all the 'work' they had done and went ahead without any authorization from us and debited our account for that amount. This is currently being disputed at several levels.
I would strongly advise any other consumer against every working with them - the amount of money, time and personal anguish caused was terrible. There was no service given in return and the attitude of the company has alternated between disinterested (once they thought they had our money) to aggressive when they realized that we would be terminating our relationship with them.
