GEICO Settlement

On March 3rd 2020 I was hit in the rear end of my car and its cost were 3,000 GEICO did not want to have my car repaired they wanted to total my car out and give me 1,700.so the insurance adjuster convinced me to take a lower fee to keep my car so I was hurt in the accident and today after 10 months, I get a call from Diane Miolen a GEICO worker she offered me a ridiculous offer in the amount of 3,000 it was a soft disk injury as if she was a doctor I am still taking Oxycodone 10 mg for my pain this woman has been nothing but trouble then she asked me what would I accept and I told her that I was still taking medication for my injury and I would only accept 5, 000 that is the less I will take and She got angry and hung the phone up this is not good customer service please contact me at [protected] and ask for Carla Bashir my claim number is0651872590101024 as soon as possible Thank you

Desired outcome: settlement

GEICO Stole our money

I have been a customer with Geico for 20 years!
20. Years. This November they auto debited an extra $414 from our checking account AFTER I called and brought the error on the bill to their attention. I called 10 days prior to the auto debit date and was told by Geico is was a mistake by them and they would have it corrected within 2-3 days (a week before bill was to be debited). Geico did NOT correct it. They stole the money from our account. Our bank even returned the ACH to them and Geico had the audacity to resubmit the fraudulent bill and they got our money. This caused our bank account to be overdrawn by $450 the day before Thanksgiving. We have been on the phone with Geico 6 different times, sent them 6-7 separate emails with ALL the bank proof and Geico has yet to return our money. We were told 4 different times they would return our money via ACH credit and they have not. We just got off they phone with Geico AGAIN today (12/9/20) and now they say they have mailed us a check and we "should" receive it within 3-5 business days. Meanwhile, our bank account is still overdrawn (we are on unemployment thanks to COVID19) and we literally have no money. Geico doesn't give a crap. They stole our money, used it for whatever they needed it for and we have no way to fight them or get any immediate refund/credit. I am sick of big companies screwing over the people who keep them open. It is total b.s. that Geico gets away with this! If I were to skip my bill with them they have the power (and freedom) to cancel my insurance and cause my driver's license to be taken away! But I (a 20 year long customer) cannot get a refund of the money they stole out of my account. They have even admitted the did not have authorization and they still get away with it. This company has lost our business and I will NEVER recommend doing business with them! Horrible, horrible, horrible company and customer service!

GEICO Car insurance policy

I was using mg Geico insurance company for my car insurance policy for a good amount of years .One month before the renewal of the policy, they gave 15 % credit, for the old policy that I had, one month later I decided to go with Allstate and did not renew with Geico ! Although I have paid the old policy almost in full, they told me on top of that I have to pay a credit of of 15 % of the old policy back to them -give back credit, so they call it -Horrible and sneaky business practices, I do not recommend to use that company to anyone !

GEICO Auto insurance car fire claim

Geico is denying to pay the claim from the fire department for putting out a car fire in which my auto was totaled. I am receiving collection notices form Fire Recovery Services which is a collection agent for the fire department in the jurisdiction where the fire occurred. Fire Recovery initially sent the bill to Geico who denied it. I have received several letters from Geico stating that the damages were denied because it is not damages to person or property. Im not understanding how it is not damages to property, being my car. I have had a couple conversations with them about it and they are not able to explain to me why they don't consider my auto property. Really not happy with the customer service as I get the same person every time who can not explain why to me. I am trying to resolve this but my next step will be to file a claim in small claims court and have an impartial third party make the determination. I disagreee with their determination however in the chance that they are correct I would like them to explain to me why it is not covered, and why they don't consider my auto as property. Any insight or help in this matter would be a great help.

incident date 12/1/2019
my name Marc Christensen

GEICO Auto Insurance

Just received our renewal for six months. We have been with Geico since the 80's. The 15% credit for pademic was not there and we had a $60 increase in our bill. When I called I was told the increase was across the board due to increase in auto prices, increase in parts, and increase in medical cost. I was also told our bill went out before the 15% was listed. It would be done automatically. I think an increase in the middle of a pandemic is totally uncalled for and I also think the 15% credit is a fraud and misleading advertising. It's not 15% when you raise the rates before this applied. The company and I quote said, "As a part of Geico's ongoing efforts to assist customers during this unprecedented time we are announcing the Geico Giveback which provides a 15 % credit." You raise the cost and then do a credit. Something is wrong. By the way we are in our 70's. Both vehicles are 2017 with one having 3000 miles on it and the other with 30, 000+ miles. We have had no accidents and no tickets. I was told all the discounts we are eligible for had been applied.
I am disappointed in Geico. At one time we had 5 cars with 3 teenage drivers. Geico had always been good to us until now. This is sad and even more so in the middle of a pandemic.

GEICO customer service / dishonesty

I was in a accident on the date of December the 16th 2019. I called geicho
they got the ball rolling and sent out a tow for my car a 2015 chevy Equinox
and was sent a rental car. MY car was sent to Corzaves collission Midtown 1356 chattahoochee Ave. Atlanta Ga. 30318 the same day December the 16th. I recieved a call from the insurance adjuster. By the name of Theresa Sutton, at 2:27 pm stating to me that the car had some previous work done on it and that the main frame of the car was affected therefor the work was not goin to be able to be done . Because then the body shop would be laible if anything should happen to me on the road, In my accident it was only the front left side that was affected and to find out the radiator. I told her i had not had any work done on the car minus an oil change since i purchased the car Feburary 2018. So i was upset and didnt undertand
I called the body shop on December 17 after our phone call . And the info they gave me was diffrent, the young lady told me that they were just starting to examine my car so they didnt undertand what i was talking about from what the insurnace adjuster told me ! After that I called an left thersa sutton a messge she did not return my call for several days. She called me back at 8:03 am on December the 23rd. 2019 I missed the call because i was at work I called her back at 9:18 am .And she was explaining again about the main frame of my car an that they cannot make them fix the car . So i suggested to take my car to raymind chevrolet. She called them an they referred her to Capital cadillac 2210 Cobb Parkway south Symrna Ga 30080. Because they do repair work and collssion damge as well. She got the car towed there.
And i spoke with her and she told me that a mechanic from Capital Cadillac looked at my car and said the same thing the other body shop said about previous work an the mainframe of the car. And to be quite honest I start to question her honesty . so I went to capital Cadillac December the 26th 2019 and I spoke with the shop manager MIke Fraker and we went out to look at my car and he told me that he was told it had been to 3 body shops so far ! I said no sir that is not true, this is the second shop it has been too Corzaves being the first and now to you all. He examined my car and he said he wondered how they came up with that outcome of the car. He looked an said it looks like all you need is a new radiator an the out-
side collision work done and I signed the papers for him to start working on my car and he said once they got her open if they find anymore damage I would be called as well Geico . But mind you she told me she spoke with a mechanic and they said it was the same thing and they would be liable. And by the insurance adjuster telling them the car had been to 3 shops already, I wouldn't think it was fixable either! My rental car was payed for up until December 26 2019 . Enterprise started to deduct money from my account on the 27 in the amount of $59.07 . I called Geico on December the 28 at 10:16 pm when I noticed my bank account, and told them because I could not get in contact with the insurance adjuster Thresa Sutton .
He typed up my complaint and sent it to her supervisor as well as her. And that he could not extend my rental only she could, I understood that but what's bothering me is she should have been more efficient concerning my car rental, I spoke with her at 10:28 am on a Monday and told her what was happening with car an that they said that they could fix it. And what was leaking was the radiator fluid from the accident. She said she would extend my rental until Thursday Jan the 2nd so by that time they could send another adjuster out to get the damage report and cost. So I called the body shop my self to see if they had laid out the damage and a estimated time for repairs, they said they were waiting on parts . I called the adjuster back and told her what they said. Then she said they were sending an adjuster out to asset the damage. On Friday Jan 3rd 2019 I received a call from another insurance adjuster stating that it was going to be $1872.00 minus my deductible . And that the repairs would take 10 days at the least.
Now I'm not upset with the price because I understand about the deductibles what I'm upset about is that MY car could have been fixed way before the new year came in. I pay my car insurance every month for " jut in case" and when I need it I'm getting the runaround, doing my own research, going out to the body shops myself because to ne honest if had I not my car would not be getting fixed as I write this. And on top of that I still have to pay my car insurance for this month and also my car note for this month and give a 1000.00 deductible on top of that all in one month. And I cant even get access to my car until now its looking like the 15th of this month I'm very upset and was even thinking of getting the better business bureau involved And my friend who works for channel 2 news wtbs. Because I don't care how you paly this out this was wrong and bad business
I was not getting the runaround when I was paying my bill it promptly sent me a reminder when my bill was due for my car insurance payment and it was paid.

GEICO avoiding liability payment

Filed a liability claim on Geico because one of their insured caused an accident that involved 3 other vehicles. The accident occured on November 14, and shortly after filed a claim. Provided the police report, pictures, and sufficient videos of the accident and while Geico is accepting full responsibility on behalf of their client. Geico is also prolonging any damages payments. Over a month and a half passed and the liability insurance agent is saying that "it may take months and months for this to process and you should be aware of that, so you should just file a separate claim on your own insurance company." This suggestion is absurd as I spoke with my insurance agent, and they said there is no reason to file as separate claim as this would likely raise your insurance premiums. I feel like this Geico's claims department is trying their best to avoid paying out any damages and I have tried to get in contact with the initial insurance agent Rebecca Demby but it appears she has been avoiding us and simply passing any pertaining phone calls to a nearby representative as we have spoken with 4 other liability insurance agents which all state that Rebecca Demby is "here at the office but unavailable at the moment." I almost feel like this Geico claims department is acting extremely unethical and hoping to avoid any damage payouts completely.

GEICO claim

Most claims reported to Geico insurance company got treated as scam. They give you a cheaper premium but when something happen be prepare to deal with the worse. Go find another insurance company that have a good reputation in handling consumer claims not create a chain of investigation. When I had a claim after 6 years of using Geico, i only got paid when my attorney interfered. All I needed is to fix my stolen car that has been recovered with $6000 damage.

GEICO auto insurance

The Geico Local Insurance Agency by Lori Myers in Syracuse, New York operates in a manner that fits them best, and does not consider the savings to the consumer. 15 seconds could save you hundreds as the corporate claims, but it could cost you as well.

When I cancelled my auto insurance policy that was 25% higher in cost than others after 5 years; they were instructed to issue me a paper check. Clearly the lizards dont know English, as they never sent the paper check, and instead refunded the money to a closed bank account. Then told me to chase my money with the bank.

1. I never sent the money to the bank and have no legal right to dispute the transaction.
2. This was an agency error under their errors and omissions policy.

When researching Lori Myers for a potential legal claim - NY State does not show her having a valid insurance license.

GEICO auto insurance claim

Aug. 13th 2019 My vehicle was hit by an Geico insured driver. I have the video of the accident. Your insured stated there was no red light or stop sign. So I sent a video of road with stop sign and blinking red light and also a sign that states stop sign ahead. Your insured also said she sped up to get out of the way. Your driver received a ticket for failure to yield right of way. Both vehicles were totalled. Your insured stopped for the stop sign, waited for a south bound vehicle to pass and then without waiting for North bound traffic proceeded to go. If you watch the tape in slow motion you will see that the southbound car was blocking so that my vehicle could not have seen her there. I have no problem with the claim adjusters paper work and they did not object to the towing charge. What My complaint is they insist I accept 20% of the blame for the accident. I cannot send the police report, as website does not accept PDF files and I don't know how to fix that Kathleen C Schrowang Claim #[protected] I can send more info if I can attach a pdf file

GEICO lying about not having insurance

My wife and I moved to Virginia from Maryland near the end of November 2018 due to a career change and life circumstances. We changed our address call Geico to inform them of the address change and they gave us a new quote on our 2015 Versa note. 2 weeks later it was repossessed so I called Geico to let them know and to cancel our policy. We just purchased another car in Oct 2019 and not a day later we get a letter in the mail from MDOT saying we own them $2, 200 for insurance lap for a car we no longer have since Dec of 2018! I called Geico to find out what was going on and these [censored] falsely reported us for not having insurance to Maryland when we told them that we moved changed our address and the repossession! I'm through with their shady business practices. When I cancelled my policy the refunded the rest of my policy money. How dare they just assumed that we was still driving a car that is no longer in our possession since 2018 until now?!

GEICO accident claims coverage or lack thereof

2 GEICO adjusters were supposed to get estimates after my car was in a flood. It needed body work and electrical which required car to have work at 2 seperate shops. The reason for the estimates were that in a flood more than likely the car will cost more to repair than the car is worth.
So when I brought the car to a body shop the 1st adjuster recommended car go to a dealership for estimate on electric problems first. The car was then sent to dealership.1st adjuster goes on vacation.
A second adjuster now inspects the car and issues the check to someone in the dealership !and it issued with my name and dealerships name. Now at this point I'm 500 miles away at this point because I didn't live in area where car was damaged. I get a call from dealership that they need me to come sign the check for $7, 500 that Geico issued to them. I agree then tell the dealership employee I'll be there the next day.. He replies " no the car won't be done till next week."
A week goes by and I call this employee at dealership. He's on vacation and my cars not there. So I now think to myself that the car must have been done and he sent it back to the body shop to get the body work finished .
I call body shop and the cars not there either.
My cars lost! Turns out that dealership had Geico re issue the check without my name and my signature was not required any more.
This is now last week of August 2019 and the car was in flood July 22 2019.
I finally find out from the police that the car was impounded because the dealership just put it out on the street parked illegally for a week.
I had to pay $1200 to get it out of the impound yard and the car had not had any of the work done at the dealership other than changing 2 seatbelts!?!? Plus there's now more damage to it than it got from the flood! .
I start making calls and leaving messages to both adjusters.
No reply's for days . I call GEICO customer service and they call adjusters for me. This is the only time I get to speak to them. I explain that 1. they issued a check to dealership when it was supposed to be an estimate 2. The work wasn't even close to being finished 3. The check was supposed to be issued to the place " I " brought it to on 7/23/2019 which was the body shop 4. The car should have been a total los!
. The answer I got from both adjusters was that Geico paid for the claim and that dealership said car was done!?!?. I said the body work was never even started and I get told I will get called back.
They never call back.
I have lost my job, my apartment and I feel like I'm starting to lose my mind because of this. I have the car and had to borrow money from my family to fix.
It's still being worked on and now that I lost my job I have fallen behind on car payments so my credits ruined and the bank will probably repossess the car at this point . I can't even look for a new job as unfortunately where I'm currently living There's no public transportation and I have run through my savings.
I finally got Geico to have another adjuster to look at the car and the latest BS I'm being told is that the body work looks like it's from another accident not the flood.
I guess I should have seen it coming . They screwed this up so bad and dragged it out this long it's drastically changed my life for the worst as I was also supposed to be moving 1000 miles out of state on 8/1/19 to live with my GF and start a new life, new career..
I explained this to every adjuster, every supervisor, every customer service agent and they used this info against me.

Geico sucks!

GEICO personal injury claim

My wife and 2 small daughters (1 year old and 8 year old) were rear ended by a geico insured on March 28th 2019. The accident involved 3 vehicles, and the geico insured was found 100% at fault (my wife's car was the first car at a traffic light that was struck by a van that was struck by the geico customer). My children were not injured, however my wife suffered a neck and back injury which resulted in 19 doctor visits over 3 months time, and still now has flare-up pain 6 months later. Following the accident there were many many days that my wife (a stay-at-home mom) was unable to even pick up our baby to comfort her when she needed her mom or even breastfeed her. From day one, my wife was unable and unwilling to take pain pills due to the fear of the effects to our breastfed baby.
This whole situation has been terrible, and has been further irritated by Geico adjusters devaluing our claim and laughing (literally laughing) at our request for compensation.
We are still trying to settle on the personal injury (North Carolina is an "at-fault" state which means the at-fault party is obligated by law to pay "pain & suffering"). They act as if they (the adjuster) are doing us some huge favor by even paying our claim (reminder...this was not our fault, my wife was just sitting at a traffic light when a negligent geico customer stuck her). They have offered us only a fraction of what 3 other insurance agents have said that they "should" pay. Every resource I can find that gives advice on valuing "pain & suffering" tells me that they are taking advantage of us. The amount they are offering does not even cover the time and fuel spent traviling back and forth from the doctor visits.
Meanwhile I am out of pocket for a portion of the doctor bills, time, fuel, and lots of frustration while I attempt to negotiate with this company.
I share all this with you so that you may know what it's like to file a claim with this company. You may save a few bucks on premiums, but it will cost you if you ever file a claim. Geico spends more $$ that any other insurance company on advertising, they can't do this by paying fairly on claims...they do this by devaluing you.

GEICO claims to offer 15% military discount

Have been lied to by geico customer service for the past 6 years. We've been told that even though our military discount isn't mentioned on our account details page, that we are receiving a military discount. Geico recently doubled our auto insurance, so I inquired again about the missing mention of our military discount and was informed that since we were already getting discounts for being "such good customers". I again asked if we're getting our 15% military discount and the rep reluctantly admitted that we have never been recieving the discount. Geico is lying to service members and retirees about the military discount. Will be filing a related complaint with the consumer protection agency.

GEICO pain and suffering and medical bills settlement

My name is Sequoia McCoy, I along with my children where in an auto accident and geico's insured was the one at fault. Geico agreed to accept liability for the claim. I did a settlement with Geico In may in this settlement agreement in the amount of 13.000 Geico was said to be released from all responsibility and i would be responsible for mine and my children medical bills. It didn't work like that. They only gave me a check for 3, 000 for myself. They never gave me the rest. They have made me so many promises but have yet to follow through. There is no medical lien for me or my children. The adjuster has been bias and prejudice against me from the beginning and has made this a long drawn out process. The judge has signed off the paperwork and I am officially authorized to receive the money on behalf of my children. This company has committed fraudulent acts obtained documents without my consent and try to force me to let them pay my medical bills. They are doing all they can not to pay me. I am escalating this to higher authorities i have read of several lawsuits and complaints that have been filled and won for dealing with the same thing i am dealing with. This is ridiculous. Now i am being avoided when you just told me you were going to have a check this week for my children. I have requested an itemized statement with a copy of the bills but yet to receive anything. They want return my calls. Another adjuster needs to be assigned because i am filling a lawsuit against the other one for the emotional stress she has called and the act of retaliation she is performing by trying to keep me from getting my money. She is rude and disrespectful and she hates me because of my race and age. She has said hurtful disgusting things to me so has mr. whiteside in the beginning. I will not continue to deal with such rudeness. I am also seeking more money for the settlement do to the fact of Geico placing me in a hardship the discrimination as well as the emotion distressed they have caused me. I will not give up until i receive what is owed to me. I will be notifying higher officials so that someone can do something about this situation.

GEICO auto / renters

I signed up for INS. with Geico Auto and Renters INS., had to go thru multiple Agents to get set up not very fun. I have coverage now and wanted it to start when my next bill was due so I didn't have dual coverage or a lapse in coverage. So I check with my Bank Account and have this bill from Liberty Mutual for Renters INS., which they said they work with no problem, but the person that was helping me didn't go the extra mile to make sure my needs we're handled they rushed me into this, almost pushing me into the matter like a hungry dog waiting for a bone. So rather than me have it work the way I needed to work it went the way they wanted it, screw the customer get the money, so now I have to spend my time to try and fix this problem, when I called the customer service Rep.I wanted them to fix it back to Monthly Billing and start it at right time, they tried to call my Bank and said the Bank couldn't do anything till Monday, the person was worried about if they refunded me my money if it came back insufficient funds they would be on the hook for the funds. Rather than possibly take a hit for a few bucks which wouldn't happen I wanted the INS., they took the low greedy road and didn't help a client out, talk about customer service. I asked what they could do for me nothing because they are regulated, must be nice to screw up and have no consequence, when I mess-up I have to pay for it big time. I wish the Government had my back like big biz. So now I have to clean this mess up tomorrow cancelling this mess because of their incompetence. Maybe rather spend so much money on ads they should get their act together and not be a money grubbing big biz. Why do they need to advertise so much, losing too many customers because of poor service? Looked today took money anyway terrible company, 93% satisfaction really!

GEICO policy cancellation

I used to think Geico was good until I had to cancel my auto policy. I moved from NC to NY and Geico transfered my policy to NY. So I was told by a Geico Rep that cancelled my policy that as long as I call before 6/23/19, then I will not owe anything. Well I called on 6/21/19 and cancelled my policy because I had gotten another insurance provider. So I got a bill for $20 for cancelling the NY policy and then two days later I got a bill for $81.07 for cancelling NC policy. I called Geico and spoke with 12 people who gave me 12 different answers including 4 different answers from emails as well. They basically said that since I called the NY policy on 6/21/19, they had to reinstate my NC policy and then cancel that too. For doing that it caused the State of NC o charge me $81.07. I don't know why they would reinstate the NC policy when they had already transferred the policy to NY. People please be aware of what you are getting yourselves into before you choose Geico as your insurance carrier.

GEICO Claims for insurance

On September 28, 2018, I, Tanakia Hunter, was involved in a motor vehicle accident. I began to suffer pain from my injuries and learned that I would need to pay for treatment sought to maintain recovery from the above aforementioned sustained injuries. I initially retained an attorney and upon learning of his dishonesty attempted to sever our relationship. He did agree and formally discontinued representation with no contingency agreement as previously agreed when he was retained. However upon attempting to reach a settlement on the record none was reached due to breach of contract on behalf of Geico by Ms. Brittany King, we confirmed that due to the breach there was no settlement in place. She agreed. I have yet to be compensated. I received a check for $1500, $340, and $3663.41. I was not compensated for the hospital emergency room as initially agreed upon in the amount of $2199 as submitted. Please assist as I am ready to sue due to breach of contract and not being properly compensated. Instead Ms. King attached a note to my file suggesting that I had an attorney to avoid compensating me or allowing to speak to a representative. I have been grossly mishandled and would like to be treated fairly with good faith practice on behalf of Geico. Please contact me at [protected] for further information. Thank you. I have all documentation and/or recordings to prove that this is a legitimate, and accurate allegation/complaint. Please let me know who I need to contact. I did not know whether a law suit or the Alabama department of insurance would be a better choice for assistance. I initially submitted a claim for payment of all my hospital bills according to Alabama state law, my ambulance bill, physicians bill, radiology bill, and the chiropractic bill where I actually did receive treatment. I was told that payments were made to these companies and then the payments were sent to me instead, however. I have yet to receive the payments claimed to be forwarded to me after several unfair debates. Geico has not upheld their agreement to date.

GEICO Automobile insurance

Beware of geico. Don"t waste your money. They are awful. You cannot trust them! They just don"t care. I was a client for 47 years and cannot even get the courtesy of a response. Pitiful!

Save yourself some money and much aggravation if you read the following about my accident where I was t-boned, and them abandoning me with their so-called emergency road service.

The following complaint was sent to the Maryland Insurance Commission. There will be a hearing!

Anthony Raymond, Jr. v. Geico

Complaint

1. Anthony Raymond is a permanent resident of 973 Circle Drive, Baltimore County, Maryland, and has lived there since 1965. My telephone number is [protected].

2. I have not had a ticket, nor a point on my driving record for over 45 years. I do not believe I have ever had to pay a deductible for an accident while with Geico.

3. My mother and I have been clients/customers of Geico for 47 years. Until the last year we have always believed that Geico cared about its customers and service. It appears that is no longer the case. Until 2 years ago, I never had any complaints about Geico, and I even referred a number of my friends to Geico.

4. I have paid for Geico's so-called emergency road service, not for years, but decades. During that course of time I believe I used this "service" four times. Three years ago I needed it on a Friday afternoon. Their representative could barely speak English, and could not understand I needed help on Fleet Street. After over an hour I called back and was told the Geico service went instead to Haven Street. He could not tell me why he was misdirected. Does Haven Street sound like Fleet Street? Consequently, I had to wait for nearly two hours for service.

5. In December 2017, I was in Fells Point, Baltimore, and had an 8:30 appointment. Arriving at my car about 8 pm, my car would not start. I needed a very simple battery jump start. I do not own a cell phone, nor do I want one. Consequently, I borrowed a phone from a young lady waiting for her boyfriend. She was very kind and patient, because once again I was connected to someone with Geico who could not speak English. He could not understand Fell Street where my car was. I had to repeat this at least 10 times. Naturally, I had to apologize to the girl for this call which took about 17 minutes. Great service! After waiting for one hour and fifteen minutes I walked to a bar, and began asking people if they had jumper cables. Finally, I found someone who would interrupt his Friday night, and drive to assist me, which he did. I gave him $20 for his help. After a number of calls Geico did send me a check for $20, again without any apology or explanation.

6. Over the last 12 months, I have made over 10 calls to complain about Geico's lack of service.
I requested an explanation and an apology. Despite many repeated promises, including four in the last month, I have yet to even receive the courtesy of a return call, much less an apology or compensation for my decades of wasted emergency road service fees. Once again, I never received a return call.

7. In November, I once again called, and I was told my complaint was now escalated. Once again, I never received a return call.

8. On December 13, I emailed a complaint to Geico. Someone named Tom (716-730-2205) called me, and left a message. Three times I tried to reach and left messages. Once again, I never received a return call.

9. On December 14, I received an email from Geico regarding my complaint (800-424-3426). I called, and spoke with a representative. She assured me a supervisor would call me. Once again, I never received a return call.

10. On December 14, 2018 I was exiting from a parking space on Thames Street at the intersection of Wolfe Street. I was the very last spot on the right. The only way for me to legally reverse was to back up to Wolfe Street. After I completed my reversal, a vehicle drove into my driver's side fender, and broadsided me. He backed up a bit, enough to allow me to exit my vehicle. He then proceeded to scream at me saying I struck his car. I asked him if he was crazy, since my car had completed my exit, and he started screaming at me. Then his girlfriend started to yell at me. I said I wanted his insurance card, which also happened to be Geico. He refused. He said that I should leave and forget about the accident, or he would call the police. I told him I have his license plate number, and I want the police to address the issue, especially since he had been so belligerent.

11. On December 15, I reported the accident to Geico.

12. On December 18, I took my car to Heritage Toyota for repairs.

13. On December 19, Laura Terry called me from Geico and informed me that I was responsible for the accident. I asked her how I could be at fault when the other vehicle broadsided me. She said first that I should have reversed me car completely and backed up across the intersection. I told her this was illegal, and should a police officer see me I would surely be ticketed, since this was against the law. She also said the other driver was waiting for my parking spot to pull in after I left. I reminded her that first this was not true, and the evidence clearly shows I had already exited from the spot. If he was parked in the intersection as she indicates, I could not have reversed my car. Also, if that were true, he should have given me enough room to exit my space. Secondly, his car was not even lined up with my spot. Lang's vehicle apparently had driven through the intersection. The videos clearly show that had my car not been there, it is probable that a parked vehicle would have been struck in the same area. Thirdly, if that were true, and I somehow drove into him, this means that he was parked in the intersection which is again illegal. I asked for information on the other driver and vehicle, as I would not have to take legal action. She refused to give it to me! I told her I wanted to appeal her decision, and that I wanted her report indicating why she had made the decision she had. She said she would review the case, and get back with me. Once again, I never received a return call.

14. On December 20, I called and asked for a supervisor. I was connected to a Michael Brookman (540-286-9433), and left a message that Heather asked me to call him. In the next few days I tried three more times, left messages, and of course heard from neither he, nor anyone else at Geico. Once again, I never received a return call.

15. On December 20, I called Fredericksburg and spoke with Jackie (800-207-7847). She referred me to Tia (Geico employee #15344), with whom I spoke. She promised me that she would investigate and get back with me. Once again, I never received a return call.

16. On December 21, I once again called and spoke with yet another Geico employee. I asked for their legal department, or corporate office. He told me all complaints have to go through the customer service department, and I should first speak with the supervisor. I told me I tried and didn't get the courtesy of a return call. He said the next step would be the manager, named Christopher Stratton (540-286-7841). He tried to call him, but said he was on the line, and he would email him in my behalf, explicitly asking him to call me promptly. Once again, I never received a return call.

17. On December 26, I spoke with Brandon Garber (667-240-3526), the Geico adjuster. I told him about all of my problems with Geico. He said he would call his supervisor. Brandon called me later that day, and said I would be getting a call from his supervisor. Once again, I never received a return call.

18. On December 26, I tried to call Christopher Stratton. 12. Once again, I never received a return call.

19. On December 29, I received a letter from Emera Sullivan, the Geico representative assigned for Michael Lang. Her letter states "Mr. Lang was waiting in the intersection for you." If he was than this was illegal by any standards of the law. She states that I stated "Mr. Lang's vehicle struck the front driver's side of your vehicle from an unknown direction." If he struck my vehicle head on, then it is obvious which direction he came from, and he was coming at me from a perpendicular direction. I told Geico that Lang was not in sight when I was backing up, but apparently ran through the stop sign. How could it be an "unknown direction?"

20. On December 31, I attempted to reply to this letter but her assistant said she was not working that day. I asked if Michael Lang also had to pay a deductible, but she refused to provide that information. I suspect Geico has charge both parties, which is illegal. I left a message for Emera Sullivan to call me. Once again, I never received a return call.

21. On December 31, I tried to call Jonathan Shafner (301-986-3000), the Deputy General Counsel of Geico. His secretary would not allow me to speak with him. Once again I wasted another ½ hour, at the end of which she said Shafner would not call me, since my case had been resolved and that there had been no appeal. Once again, I never received a return call.

22. On January 5, 2019, I once again left a message for Jonathan Shafner. Once again, I never received a return call.

23. On January 7, I was advised by the District Court to make a complaint against Geico through
The Maryland Insurance Administration, which I did.

24. On January 20, I received a formal letter from the MIA acknowledging my complaint. I also received a call from Brian Branigan (540-286-4571), who said he was yet another claims manager assigned to my complaint by the MIA. He apologized for the way I had been treated, and assured me he would get back to me in two days. Once again, I never received a return call.

25. On January 28, I asked the MIA to escalate the complaint.

26. On January 28, I received a call from Branigan who once again said he would investigate my complaints, and he would call me on Feb. 5. Once again, I never received a return call.

27. On April 2 I received a call from Chris Stratton. He had reported to the Maryland Insurance Administration that he had called me, and I did not return his call. I reminded him that he was one of the many Geico employees (see Dec. 18, #18) who had not responded to my inquiries. He said he must have had the wrong telephone number. This indicates he clearly lied when he spoke with Geico. He refused to answer any of my questions, and simply said all decisions had been made. He said he was unaware of my many complaints regarding emergency road service.

28. In addition to the above attempts to receive justice from Geico, I have made at least two dozen calls, in addition to emailing Geico. Each time I request to speak to a decision making authority, I end up back to a Geico representative who assure me that someone will get back to me. Once again, I never received a return call.

29. Geico has refused to allow me to contest or even discuss the above situations. I have been repeatedly informed that I have the right to initiate a complaint, and also the right to request a review, or make an appeal. Geico has relatedly violated my rights as a policy holder by refusing to address my complaints. Geico no longer seems to be interested in customer service or clients rights.

30. It is pitiful the way I have been treated by Geico. Geico appears to have a policy to just ignore their clients and expect them to just disappear. Geico has been negligent, and have continued to violate not only my rights, but also their own rules and regulations. Geico has attempted to destroy my perfect driving record by their fraudulent actions. I request the Court award me the amount of $150 for the deductible paid. I also request $500 which will a partial refund for the decades of wasted so-called emergency road service fees. I also request $1938 paid in the last year to Geico for services not rendered. I also request $1000 for the pain and suffering and stress I have experienced, not to mention the many, many hours of wasted time and frustration. In addition, I would like a letter sent to this court as well as myself clearly indicating that the premiums and deductibles for both my mother and myself will not me raised as a means of Geico recouping their losses in this court action. I also request a letter that Geico will not terminate my mother and myself as policy holders because of this Maryland Insurance Administration, and Court complaints.

The award total I request is $3588, plus court costs.

BEWARE OF GEICO, THEIR SO-CALLED "EMERGENCY ROAD SERVICE", AND THEIR LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE

Once again Geico lied to me. In 12 months, and over ten complaints no one from Geico has returned my call. I tried complaining to their corporation, but they direct you to customer service.

If this is how they treat their long-term clients, what can you expect?

Choose another insurance company that at the very least will address complaints. Geico obviously does not care about their clients, nor about improving their performance.

My mother and I have been clients/customers of Geico for 47 years. Until the last year we have always believed that Geico cared about its customers and service. It appears that is no longer the case.

It is pitiful the way Geico has treated me. I can only expect that many others have suffered with their so-called emergency road service. I did tell Geico that should I not receive an explanation, an apology, and compensation I will post this review to Pissedconsumer.com, [redacted].com, Complaintsboard.com, Scamguard and another 6 sites or so. Please be assured that I will do everything in my power as a consumer to alert the public how I have been treated, and then ignored.
