I am social worker who advocate senior population client. On Nov 19, 2012 around 10 AM. I made call on behalf of my client who does not speak English for matter of mailing problem due to incorrect address. She received citation for jaywalking on Christmas day 2011. Client reports that she paid about $569.00 in February already. Somehow she did not receive any letter nor statement until she finally received the letter from Collection agency that she owed $300.00. For Jaywalking she did last year and she had to pay $869.00 is too much for her so I called them but the representative was rude, not supportive on these matters. They just told her to pay the full amount of fine or set a court date to appeal but she is not capable of act on her self to resolve this on her own. I expect their advisement to find alternative way to resolve this issues but he makes me mad for his arrogant and insensitve.
