Frigidaire Refrigerator compressor going out and fridge quitting after only 14 months

We bought a new black Frigidaire refrigerator in October 2020. January 18, the compressor stopped working and so did the whole fridge. Call to speak to someone, and I got a person who I could hardly understand. I think his name was Adum or something like that. He told me the fridge was only warranted for one year. I was stunned. We had to go buy another refrigerator, but I can tell you I will never buy a Frigidaire appliance again and will tell everyone I know about this. If the CEO's don't do something fast to correct this problem, they will be in the unemployment line like the rest of the country.

Desired outcome: Replace the fridge with one that will last more than a year.

A one year, limited warranty is very common across the entire industry. However many retailers offer additional services to cover such conditions. Contact them as soon as you're able. You may actually find they can resolve the issue somewhat easily.

Frigidaire Frigidaire freezer and extended warranty

I cannot begun to discuss how frustrated I am dealing with Frigidaire reps and service teams. I bought a freezer that was not working at the 90 day mark. I have had to be on hold so many times just to have the person tell me to hold and then hang up. I start over with the next person and it happens again. The service teams sent to my house are no better as I have had to call or text for more times than I care to share with no resolution. Most times I do jot get a call back or they do not show up or follow up. I have had to throw out more food than I care to think about (money wasted on groceries). My freezer has been out for 2 months now and I cannot even get a follow up call. I just w at it gone

Frigidaire Fridgidaire Refrigerator

My fridge was bought on July 16, 2020. (Model Number: FFSS2615TP4
Serial Number: 4A02406149). The freezer (side by side fridge and freezer) stopped working on January 14th 2022. I tried to call Frigidaire next day. But office was closed. I called on Monday(January 17, 2022). I was told that 18 months of purchase was on January 16th of 2022, so company can't do anything to resolve my problem. I told this happened in the weekend and I tried to reach the company. But I was cut off. 1st call I had to hold for an hour. A representative took my information and put me on hold without even telling me and never came back. Second representative (Mary) explained about the 18 months policy and when I told it happened 2 days before, just cut me off not even giving me the information for repairs. The 3rd representative gave me the phone number for repair personnel. But she(Jane) cut me off when I tried to talk about the 18 months of purchase policy that I was explained before. I had to spend 2 hours of my time for these 3 calls. In spite of delivering a bad product (around thousand dollars and broken parts in 18 months) the Customer service representatives were acting completely arrogant and not at all helpful. What I am not sure about is that if my experience represent the personal traits of the customer service representatives I talked to or this is the company culture itself which trains the employees to treat customers badly. I decided that this is my first and last Frigidaire purchase. I had to call an outside personnel to fix the problem.

Frigidaire Parts order

I ordered a ref water filter and two air filters. Received the air filters but no water filter. I have called several times on hold for 45 minutes only to be cut off. I don't really want the product anymore double due to the way I have been treated. They tell me I am calling the wrong number but it is the number on the order. Then they gave me another number and I am simply not able to get through. The order number is [protected]. I could not be more disappointed in a company and want my money back. Dennis Pfeifer.

Frigidaire Frigidaire 24 Single Electric Wall Oven FFEW2426US Purchased 11/26/2021, Delivered 12/01/2021.

We have been unable to contact anyone at Frigidaire ( over 5 times in the last 15 days) to assist us with our problem and spent many minutes on hold. The three times we did get a service employee (after waiting on hold for over 50 minutes each time), the Representative disconnected our call [protected] and [protected]---Telephone service is absolutely disgusting). Home Depot won't help us and insists we contact Frigidaire directly. The one time we did get some help, the person said someone would come out to look at the unit and take pictures of the damage caused during the transit of the unit to our home. There are  3 indents: one on the control panel plate, another on the oven door, and the last one on the bottom plate which causes the plate to not line up correctly with the bottom of the oven door. No one ever came on 12/23/2021 as promised. We waited all day for their arrival...yet no one showed up nor did anyone call us to indicate that they were not going to make the visit to our home.The 30 day manufacturer warranty time is now over, not because of our endeavor to get some help, but the inability of having someone assist us from Frigidaire. I would think you would stand by your product. Unfortunately, that isn't the case in this situation. I feel we have not been treated well throughout this whole endeavor. I think we should be given a new oven as there is probably no way to correct the problem. I would appreciate any help you can give me.My phone number is [protected]. Frigidaire Ovens

My Wife decided to use self clean option couple weeks ago.
Manual said kitchen area should be well ventilated..
Nothing said about toxic fumes are dangerous to people or pets.
My Cavalier Spaniel had hid on bathroom during cycle.. my wife took him outdoors. That eve his eyes were irritated. Next morning he was blind...horrible event.
Took him to 2 local veterinarians. They concurred it was from stove.
Diagnosis was scarred Cornias.gave us treatments but it progressed to melting corneas
This is horrible.. to have a product that is dangerous to humans and animals. The manufacturer should have warned us.
We will fight this and let many folks about this event

Desired outcome: We want to see improved warnings.also would like compensation. We had to put him down or remove his eyes. I have vet emails sldo.

Frigidaire Frigidaire refrigerator FFT1814TWO Serial# BA81308914

Dear Sirs,
I am writing this morning out of deep frustration. I have been dealing with my refrigerator all of this past year with one repair after another. All covered by your extended warranty. Finally, on 12-17-2021 I got this escalated up to a supervisor. Her name was Amberly. She looked over the history of repairs over the year and agreed it met the requirements for replacement. She wrote it up and emailed to another department that actually handles the replacement. Amberly told me this would take between 3 to 5 days for someone to contact me. Needless to say, I have not heard from anyone.

PLEASE I NEED YOUR HELP. I NEED A REFRIGERATOR.

Desired outcome: If you do not have in stock cut me a check so that i may purchase another.

Frigidaire Range/oven not working

I got a range, model CGEH3047VFD, on October 2021. Stove is working fine but when I turned the oven on there was some sort of small explosion followed by a smell of melting wiring and a very loud fan noise.
I called Frigidaire and they booked a service visit. After about a month of wait the service guy came and when he checked the back of the range there was a loose wiring that caused a short-circuit burning up the thermostat and the board that controls the oven.
I was very shocked that there was such lack of quality control assembling the unit someone could have being seriously wounded.
The guy ordered the parts that need to be replaced in November 2021. I was promised my range would be fixed before Christmas but no update so far. Every time I call service or Frigidaire I am asked to wait because they don't have any news on my case.
I tried to return my range, but it's too late neither Frigidaire nor Home Depot want it back.

I just want it fixed or replaced I'm tired of waiting.

Frigidaire Dishwasher Model FGID2476SF

I purchased this dishwasher 7/29/2019. At the end of this summer, I was having problems with the controls and the dishwasher leaking. Although it was out of the 1 year warranty, Frigidaire sent someone to fix it . Within 2 months, I had the same issue and Frigidaire refused to help.

I have a dishwasher that is a little over 2 years old, hardly used, and now I can not use it at all. If Frigidaire was a reliable company, why would they not back their appliances? Spent all this money for a product I can not use.

Frigidaire Refrigerator

My name is Isaiah T Lee and my address is 384 Master Club Blvd Hampton GA 30228. I'm a disabled veteran who has served my country with honor. I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator February 2021 and the refrigerator has stop working for a second time and has not work for over a week and is in need of repair. Refrigerator repair has checked the refrigerator and stated it needs three different parts. I have called the 1-800 number numerous times. I have not received any help or the phone keeps disconnected when I'm talking to customer service representative. My refrigerator has been out for over a week and I've lost all my food I have purchased that was over $400. This is Christmas week and I have no where to store my food. This is unacceptable service from your company. I will continue to try customer and get some service for my issue. Please forward this complaint to the CEO of the company. I'm veteran and should not be treated this way!

Frigidaire Stackable washer dryer

I'm a frustrated customer with this product. We had to have this serviced once already and it was under warranty. we were told the issue was resolved but honestly I felt did not work to its full ability. Now that were out of warranty same problem but no coverage. This appliance was made 03/19 and bought through Best Buy. MODEL # FFLG3900UW1 and serial # 4E91101034 I called customer service and they stated nothing could be done - Really? This is for in home and lightly used. Terrible customer service. The issue is the final spin it does not spin out and clothes are soaked. Our understanding is its the transmission and the part alone is $400 not including labor.

Frigidaire Over the range microwave

Our home was built in 2018 with all new at the time appliances in the kitchen
Gas range, refrigerator and microwave over the range.

So far we have had a repairman out numerous times. The burner on the range does not ignite properly.

The microwave has been repaired several times as it continues to blow a fuse in the Microwave unit.

We are very disgusted with the lack of quality in your product.

Frigidaire Frigidaire gas cooktop model ffgc3626ss

The knobs on this cooktop break frequently because they are made from cheap plastic. The heat from the gas burners quickly erodes the integrity of the plastic and the stem cracks making the knobs useless to turn the gas on and off. Frigidaire calls these knobs "cosmetic" and doesn't cover them under their extended warranty although they don't tell you this when you buy the extended warranty. I was told "covers all parts and labor". Apparently All doesn't mean all. When my knob broke I called to get replacement knob I was told they are not covered. I would have to pay for the knob. This is totally unethical. They know that part is defective in design. If the knob is exposed to heat it is common sense that the plastic will degrade and no longer function. The stove is non-functional without the knob because you can't turn the gas off and on reliably. I am completely disgusted with this company and will NEVER buy another Frigidaire product again.

Desired outcome: Replace the knobs under the warranty.

Frigidaire Ice Maker freezing not allowing the refrigerator to make ice

I brought a Frigidaire Gallery Refrigerator. I am having continue issue with the ice maker. It is not a mechanical problem because I have a home warranty, it is an issue that the home warranty will not fix because it is an issue involving the water line that is freezing in the ice maker. I have taken the steps to reset the ice maker and sometimes it workers and but it keeps on happening. There are numerous complaints on youtube about this same issue. Serial Number 4A82514850. Frigidaire Stainless steel microwave model lfmv1645tf, serial# kg81512187

I spent 28 minutes total on my first call to inquire about why the microwave started blowing my circuit breaker, and yes, it is a dedicated circuit for the appliance in question. After all the navigation through their automated system and the virtual assistant, I was on hold almost 10 minutes to speak to a "warm body". Once the call was answered by a representative, I provided the make and model which as follows: It is a stainless steel 1000 watt microwave, model number LFMV1645TF, serial number KG81512187. I spoke to Nick I believe and explained that the unit started blowing the circuit breaker and it was purchased in 2018. I explained that we changed the breaker because we thought it may have started failing over a couple week period and progressively worsened. Although it is a dedicated line, the problem worsened to a point where it wasnt usable. In the troubleshooting process, we even check the receptacle and also checked continuity to the panel. All was good, so, to be sure it was the unit, we ran an extension cord to another "lightly loaded" circuit and an attempted to operate it. This resulted in the breaker again popping and a flash camp from directly above the control panel. When I explained this to him, he clearly stated that he would allow a "one-time courtesy repair" at no cost. I was elated that they were going to stand by their product. He said he wanted to check with what I perceived as an "inhouse technician" to see if it was just a fuse after I had mentioned that I did some research and that it appeared as though there was a fuse in the void space above the control panel. He put me on hold and after a short period and said I am going to speak to someone and see if it is a fuse and if not, we will get you set up with an authorized service provider. A few minutes later the music stopped (the crap you always have to listen to while on hold) and I thought he was back on the line, then after a few seconds, I went straight to the 3 question survey they ask you to complete, then I was disconnected! I thought maybe they would call back as they have the contact information, but it did not happen. So I went through the entire process, shorter this time as the automated and vitual portions of the call recognized the info I provided on my first attempt. This time, I get a woman and I explain that I was disconnected while on hold and explained where we were at in the process. She attempts to call the info back up, and its there but with no notes. No she tells me they will not extend this one-time courtesy to repair the unit at no cost. I ask for a supervisor and confirmed the reps position, no one time courtesy! Now I'm frustrated because its easily confirmed that I was in the system not 20 minutes earlier but she refused to at least acknowledge that I had a 28 minute call with an earlier rep, information was changed in the system, etc. (Please note that it is stated that calls are recorded for quality assurance, which would easily support the inital representatives committment. I asked to speak to her supervisor, and she hung up on me, flat out! Where I am from, our word is solemn, and we do everything to confirm and verify that it is what was communicated by the company's representative. She basically called me a liar, and this is flat out offensive because enough information was able to be verified that my overview was in fact, accurate to the "TEE". Im not sure if this 'board' is consistent with the Consumer Protection Agency that exists in my home state of PA, but I can assure you that I will pursue this vigorously, even if means bringing an attorney in that will cost 10 times more than the product. Everyone should honor their committment!

Desired outcome: Follow through with the committment to provide a one-time courtesy repair to fix the unit even though the warranty was expired

I have the same problem with the microwave. We are just going to get rid of it and buy a different brand name. Our over the range microwave is a stainless steel 2018 model as well. Junk!

Frigidaire Frigidaire Dishwasher

Here are the reasons that I will never purchase another Frigidaire dishwasher:

1.) The upper dishrack wheels tend to break. Once that happens, the upper rack is useless. Frigidaire will not sell the wheels, they will only sell the upper dishrack upwards of $200 which come with wheels.

Fact: the wheels are removeable from the upper rack yet Frigidaire will not sell them separately. This results in a rip-off of the customer.

2.) The upper rack, if not aligned onto the side rails, will not properly engage the water feed tube at the back of the tub. This results in a dishwasher that cannot be used properly.

3.) Customer Service has stated that the dish racks are not an integral part of the dishwasher. Clearly, the dish rack is used to support tableware to permit contact with water from the spray arms. To suggest that the dishrack is not an integral part of the dishwasher is absurd at best.

Our Frigidaire is Model No. FDB2410HIC1 which is no longer manufactured.
I have devoted a significant amount of time and money in an attempt to replace the upper dish rack, all done in vain. Considering how fragile the upper dishrack wheels are, I have decided to replace our dishwasher with a KitchenAid brand, thus not investing any more money in our existing one.

This review is not being submitted to market KitchenAid appliances. However, KitchenAid is considered one of the best dishwasher on the market today. The upper and bottom rack carriages slide in and out with ease thanks to their multi-wheel tandem wheel assemblies. I will never go back to Frigidaire due to their lack of customer service and poor support.

Frigidaire upright freezer20 cu/ft

Long wait for service. 1 week wait when not freezing properly. repaired 2 times back order parts did not come before they replaced the freezer. bought another freezer to save my food. The part showed up on my porch 1-2 months later. Then long wait again to take it away. I desposed of it. Frigidaireoffered not compensation, no extended warrenty, nothing for the freezer I bought.

Frigidaire refrigerator has very unreliable cooling system.

I have called the customer service number for months, and no one ever answers. The same is true of Lowe's where I purchased the appliance, but finally a manager said they could not help, and t call Electrolux. Again, no replies. I really detest this refrigerator, and I have purchased several in my lifetime, but this is the worst. I have to use a flashlight to see what is in the back of the shelves, and nothing pulls out. I would like a whole new refrigerator, and it is expensive throwing out good food. Many of my fresh home grown veggies and fruit had to be tossed this summer. The colder weather has helped a little, but this does not address the problem. The model number is: FRSS2323AWO. Serial #4A12012608. It is supposed to be the newest model of the side by side, which I have never had. Please call at [protected] and leave a message. Frigidaire Appliance Extended Warranty

My kitchen has Frigidaire appliances (stove, refrigerator, dishwasher). I have purchased extended warranties for all of them. Over Thanksgiving, my stove began emitting carbon monoxide. The fire department came and determined the issue was with the stove/range. I've been trying to call Frigidaire to book a repair visit under my extended warranty, but when I call, I get a message that "due to unusually high call volume, we are unable to take your call at this time". There is no option to leave a message or have somebody get back to me.

I have paid good money for these extended warranties, however Frigidaire is not allowing me to file a claim in any way to even get the appliance looked at. It is extremely frustrating!

Desired outcome: I would like Frigidaire to allow me to speak to somebody so I can get a repair scheduled. I'm not asking for anything for which I haven't already paid for. I can be reached at [protected]

Frigidaire Product and customer service.

I bought a freezer on 7/22/2021 and it stopped working after Ida hurricane. I tried to call customer service for warranty and had a first appointment on second week of Oct, 2021. Logistic was the first company! The company sent a technician out to fix the freezer 4 times, but couldn't fix it.

I called the customer service again. Solar Appliance, the second company came and couldn't fix it.

I called the customer service again and they sent Major Appliance company and couldn't fix it.

I called the customer service again to see if I can get a replacement. But I was transferred one line to another and another line. They Representative couldn't answer my simple question that how many more repair companies they are going to come and fix it. Finally I had to ask to talk to a manager who can give me a clear answer. Unbeliever able, he asked me to call these companies to submit report tickets the Frigidaire.

This man gave me his name, Jean and he confirmed that he is a manager. This man has no sense at all when he tried to asked me to call the companies those they tried to hire to repair the freezer. No sense at all! He was so rude and hung up my phone when I tried to ask the same question "How many more companies that you want to hire before I can get a replacement"

I really had a very bad experience when contacting the customer service of the company. I just wonder that the service of the company is bad or the company hired a punch of bad people working in front line of service.

I called at least 15 times and talked to many different Rep. My freezer hasn't been fixed yet.

My recommendation: "DON'T BUY ANY PRODUCT OF FRIGIDAIRE." OR " You will be mad like me when contacting low customer skill, sense and language"
