Friendship Hospital for Animals

I understand that Friendship Hospital for Animals became the subject of investigation for animal cruelty by law enforcement.

I understand that Dr. Peter Glassman, owner of Friendship Hospital for Animals, and the clinic itself were found in violation by the DC Government of unlawfully employing unlicensed personnel who falsely claimed to be licensed veterinarians.

I understand that Friendship Hospital for Animals has been sued or publicly complained about by former consumers for killing their pets, fraud, extortion, among other things.

It is alleged that Friendship Animal Hospital staff caused injuries to a cat which they failed to properly document or treat. It is further understood that the business failed to treat the injuries (pictured) that its own staff caused until the pet owner threatened to contact the DC Government.

I understand that Friendship Animal Hospital remains under suspicion for fraud and reckless endangerment of innocent animals.

I understand that an expired business license was displayed at the hospital when police attended.

Some customers have publicly made allegations of what they perceive to be criminal acts against the hospital.
