Just noticed same $83.88 charged to my credit card and all i did was VISIT their website...I definitely did NOT fill anything out so how scary is that!
Google: CMG Free Shipping to see numerous complaints about same company affiliated with many others doing same thing!

Found following article from 2006 about all same companies involved:
http://www.comparerewards.com/archives/002057.html

EVERYONE needs to call them at:
[protected] and email them at: [protected]@freeshipping.com

Demand that they not only refund the FULL amount of $83.88 and NOT pro-rated amount of $81.58 by having a Supervisor call you.

ALSO, contact BBB.com and all your local news TV stations to conduct a full investigation and see if they won't air it!

Let's all be pro-active and shut them down!

I just realized that an 83.88 charge appeared on my credit card and will be on the phone to them demanding a full refund
this was with an order I received from Haband and I don't understand how they can send a charge to my credit card.
I will be on the phone to them tomorrow,
Harry van Canada

I am a member of Freeshipping.com and have been since December of 2009. I don't understand all these claims of being scammed. I signed up when I placed an order with Hickory Farms. They have many sites like Pro-Flowers and other companies that all promote freeshipping.com. IT IS NOT A SCAM! I know first hand that it works. While I don't necessarily like how they do things, meaning it is a hassle in todays market to have to send hard copies through the mail to get the cash rebate for up to $10 per purchase. They really do have hundreds if not thousnads of well known retailers listed on their site. I often use ebay, amazon, sam's club, and more. I have received 3 checks totalling over $150, and purchased many movie tickets at a discount price. They also offer double warranty protection, and other sales opportunities. I would recommend taking the complaints on here with a grain of salt. Everyone has an opportunity to thoroughly read the terms and decide for themself what would work for them and what wouldn't. For me, I have become a fan...

I just called the toll free number listed above and spoke to a representative from Free Shipping.com. She insisted they only use information gained on THEIR website and don't get credit card numbers from the merchant from who they purchased our email addresses. When I asked her to delete me from their email mailings, she claimed my email address was not in their system. She wanted my last name and zip code to further my request. Of course, this is just more scamming, proving my name was also sold to them or they need it to further get my credit card number. Be very careful and file a complaint with the BBB and any computer scam website you can find! Thank heavens for this one!

I have never even heard of freeshipping.com nor have I ever visited the site. I was also charged the $83.88. I put in a card dispute online with my bank to get this taken care of. This is ignorant. How do ###S like this get away with this ###? This needs to come to an end!

You all need to learn to read the terms of the program, in no way are you just "signed" up for the program. I love online blogs because they can actually help you with some information, but I really don't like them when things happen like this. A good company gets a bad name because people chose not to read through what they were signing up for. If anyone actually wants to see how to sign up, or has factual information to offer I welcome you to it. I have been with them for years and never been disappointed.

I am the next on the list. I have realized it today and found this forum. I checked into it and we all have the same charge. I have sent them email as I was upset telling them I will report them to newspapers and TVs. I got email back within 5 minutes telling me they will refund me within 5 days. I am so outraged by this...I also purchased Valentine's present from Proflowers. Same story as all of you. I really hope they will reinburse me! I really think we all should try to contact the papers and other places to get this to stop!
