My wife hired Freedom Roofing for an insurance claim to replace the roof and fix water damage to the ceiling in the dining room. We didn't get anything in writing from them, like a quote or a contract. Connor asked for a check for the full insurance claim amount, except for the recoverable depreciation. We gave them a cashier's check, they replaced the roof, but they didn't touch the ceiling. And when we asked about the roof multiple times, they basically ignored us. Since we didn't get a contract, we can't do anything about the ceiling. We don't even know how much it cost to replace the roof. We're selling our house now, and the buyers want a receipt for the roof. My wife contacted Connor 2 days ago and he promised to send the receipt that same evening. It's been 2 days and still no receipt. She contacted him again today and he said he would send it again, but we're still waiting. The only good thing about this whole thing is that the roof looks nice.
