Great company. Mark Kaufman Roofing did a complete reroof on our home prior to Hurricane ***. We had damage to the roof from tree branches putting holes through it. I contacted Mark Kaufman Roofing to schedule a repair, they were on time and went over the entire roof to make sure it was in good condition. They repaired the spots that were damaged from the Storm and were very professional and easy to work with. I would recommend Mark Kaufman Roofing for anyone seeking roofing or gutter needs.

Highly recommend to all. Responsive. Professional. And overall a stand out company in our area, doing great work and great things in our community.

I had property damage from Hurricane Ian. With several contractors needed for each of my needs, I began searching online. Being new to the area, I had no one to rely on for reference, so I rolled the dice with Mark Kaufman Roofing for our two roof leaks. From my first phone call, all the way through completion, I either got lucky or they are just consistently this good. Everything, and I mean everything, was top notch (communication, timing and cleanliness)! I wish I could say the same for all of the other contractors we hired, but Mark *** team stood out from the rest, so I’m compelled to pass on this message to whoever finds themselves in a similar situation. It was so nice to find the diamond in the rough of roofing when we were in extreme need. Kudos to their team, and best wishes to you on your roofing project.

We had MARK Kaufman Roofing replace our roof and gutters in 2021. We had no issues and would recommend them highly. Our beautiful roof had special hurricane nails that held through Hurricane Ian with 150 mph winds! They were done in 3 days and cleaned up everything!

I contracted with Mark Kaufman Roofing thinking they were a cut above the rest. However I found this to not be accurate. Friday evening right after they laid the new underlayment we had a hard downpour. We literally had water running down from a water closet vent fan, soaking the ceiling, floor, and trim underneath it. Additionally, we had a leak in a different area leaving the ceiling wet. I called the main office, the job supervisor's cell phone, and even left an email on the main web site. "Call me on my cell anytime," the job supervisor said. But that apparently doesn't include after hours or on weekends. I did not hear back until Monday morning. (Note that they are not responsible for workmanship issues that cause damage to your home. Not even from initial workmanship issues.)

Part of the contract was for Mark Kaufman Roofing to replace damaged wood (not unlimited - I would need to pay for excessive wood needing replacement, which I was fine with). The result was that the amount of wood was less than what we contracted for, however one board that needed to be replaced was a four-foot length of rough sawn trim (approx. 1.5" x 6") over the garage. Mark Kaufman Roofing replaced it with a piece of 2 x 6 framing lumber, knots and all. I brought this to the attention of the job supervisor, however it was not fixed, nor did they ever say why they used common framing lumber for trim.

I called the original salesman who sold the job to me, and he said he was unaware of the problems, but that the owner would want to call to find out what was going on. I responded that to find out what was going on he first needed to talk to his job supervisors, as I had talked to them about the problems, and they knew exactly what had gone wrong. That was the last I heard from Mark Kaufman roofing.

I really dislike having conflicts with contractors. However, based on their response so far, I have concerns that Mark Kaufman Roofing will continue to stonewall me in the future regardless of the guarantee. I hope others will learn from my experience.

I called five roofing companies for quotes. Mark Kaufman Roofing came in the middle between 22k and 16k for a complete roof. They offered a great warranty compared to the others. They also saw things that needed to be done that the others did not quote. They were prompt and well organized as scheduled. The crew was respectful and worked very hard. The project manager Masen Hall was awesome, was very involved in the process all they way, not just from the ground but on the roof many times, making sure things were done correctly. They had the grounds cleaned every night before they went home. All said and done the roof looks amazing. I highly recommend this professional company for your roofing needs.

I called 4 roofing companies for estimates for a new roof, the day before Kaufman was due a young lady showed up she said she worked for Kaufman and asked if she could inspect our roof to see if we could get a mostly free roof.
She came down from the roof, saying she had good news, she had pictures
showing some damage and then told us she guaranteed she could get us a new roof. We could file a claim with our insurance company.
She then told me exactly what say and wanted me to call them right then. She stayed right there to be sure I did it.
I called my daughter after she left to tell her what had happened. She and my son in law came over, they told that it was a scam to give our insurance company a chance to cancel our insurance. While they were still there, I got a call from the man that would do the inspection, asking if he still needed to come, I said of course, he said that I had signed a contract. I told him that I did not sign anything.
He called back a little later and said he had a copy, I asked him what the signature looked like, he said it was a scribble, I told that is not the way I sign and that I had not signed anything. He was supposed to come this morning at 8:00 AM he was a no show.
