Fraser Fraserengineco.com: Average Products, Unsatisfactory Customer Service

Over the course of the last few years, I have had the opportunity to purchase two engines and a transmission from Fraserengineco.com. While I must admit, that their products delivered average performance at best, my experience with their warranty claim representatives has been far less satisfactory. Attempting to get a hold of someone from their customer service team to address any issues I've encountered with their products has been met with ridiculous amounts of frustration. There seems to be an utter lack of concern for customer satisfaction that is apparent throughout my interactions with Fraser.

Most recently, I have been in communication with Fraserengineco.com and an automotive repair shop that I work with as I have been trying to sort out an engine issue I've been encountering. Unfortunately, despite weeks of effort on their part, I feel like both parties have been led along only to finally receive confirmation that a motor will be sent out after another 4 weeks due to a nationwide shortage of 4.0 parts - a delay I could hardly anticipate.

Given the lack of response from Fraserengineco.com's representatives, I'm doubtful that future customers will encounter this feedback - but I can only hope that those responsible for this experience take swift action to address the challenges present in their customer communication processes.

Fraser Unprofessional and Childish Behavior: My Experience with Fraser Engine Company

I recently had an experience with Fraser (fraserengineco.com) that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I initially contacted them over the phone in hopes of getting a quick price quote for an engine, but was informed that someone would need to call me back. Unfortunately, several days passed without me receiving any response. Finally, I received an email with a spam-like message that offered to match or beat any competitor's price. I replied with additional questions and shared the details of another quote I had received from a different company.

To my disappointment, Fraser's reply was yet again a generic form email, completely ignoring all of my questions and lack of personalized response. What's more, when I expressed my frustration and desire to make a decision about this important purchase, they responded with an unprofessional "Lol" and continued to provide no helpful information. It quickly escalated into a name-calling contest when I questioned their professionalism.

As someone who was feeling stressed out by issues with my vehicle and looking for a reliable and trustworthy solution, I was truly disappointed by the lack of care and attention I received from Fraser. I was simply looking for a quick and cost-effective solution to get my business up and running again, and it's sad that I had to endure such unprofessional and childish behavior in the process.

Fraser Negative Experience with Fraser Engine Company: Unprofessionalism, Disrespect, and Name-calling. Future Buyers Beware!

I recently had a negative experience with Fraser Engine Company and I feel compelled to share my story. My family and I were interested in purchasing a motor for our business, and we had spoken with Anthony at the front desk. Unfortunately, our interaction with him was incredibly negative from the start. Anthony was incredibly unhelpful and showed us a complete lack of respect. He even resorted to name-calling and was beyond rude to us.

As a local, family-owned business ourselves, we were shocked and disappointed by the way we were treated. We were ordering a sizeable motor with a price tag of $4,000, so we expected to be treated with the utmost respect and professionalism. Unfortunately, Anthony stated that he didn't care whether we ordered from Fraser Engine Company or not, which was a huge red flag.

We asked to speak with someone else or a manager, but Anthony refused to transfer us to anyone else. He claimed that he was the manager and refused to let us speak with anyone else. We were even accused of having an "attitude" and were insulted when we asked how we had exhibited this type of behavior. Anthony spoke to us in an incredibly condescending manner and even attempted to belittle us by saying: "I'm not asking you; I'm telling you." He even went as far as to dictate who we were and how to be better, without knowing anything about us.

I've worked in customer service for over 20 years, and I've never been treated this poorly by a representative of any company. Anthony was abrasive, unprofessional, and frankly, unhelpful. He interrupted our conversations, raised his voice to us, and refused to listen to us when we tried to speak. It was truly an appalling experience.

To make matters worse, Anthony called us back repeatedly and continued to insult us and call us names. I even have the calls recorded, which is why I feel the need to share my experience. I don't want any other customers or businesses to go through what we did. I would recommend that future buyers beware, as they probably won't get any help or warranty their products if they fail.

In conclusion, I strongly recommend that the Fraser Engine Company re-evaluate their customer service policies and employee training. It's unacceptable to treat customers so poorly, particularly when they're purchasing products worth thousands of dollars. As a local business, Fraser Engine Company needs to understand that word-of-mouth can make or break their reputation. Change needs to happen, and it needs to happen fast.

Fraser Fraser Engine Co: Disappointing Customer Service Experience

I recently had a frustrating experience with the Fraser Engine Co. website. Despite being very excited to do business with them, I requested a quote for both an engine and a transmission - a crucial piece of information for any potential buyer - and was sent only a screenshot of the engine pricing, without any mention of the transmission. After asking for the quote three times via text and email, I still didn't receive a response regarding the transmission. I must say, this was the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

It's certainly not a good look for the company to have an option to request a quote that simply leads to them ignoring their potential customers. I was particularly disappointed after my anticipation had been built up by a positive podcast review of the company's high-quality customer service, only to be let down so terribly. I truly hope that this was just a one-time occurrence and that other future customers receive better treatment.

It's important to mention that this experience is only from one conversation, and that there were other details that could have easily been included in this review to paint a fuller picture. However, I've uploaded screenshots of the texts I received and the somewhat perplexing response by the company in order to make a point about what I feel is subpar customer service. Unfortunately, my rating won't count very much in the grand scheme of things, as I've learned that the company doesn't value feedback from unofficial customers. However, I still feel that it's important to share my experience in hopes of preventing others from having a similarly frustrating interaction with the company.

Fraser Be Cautious: My Review of Fraser Engine Company's Customer Experience

I recently contacted Fraser (fraserengineco.com) and wanted to share my experience. I called to inquire about purchasing a 4.6 engine with the gold option, but unfortunately, I was given a bit of a run-around during my previous calls regarding the number of valves in the engine that would be suitable for my vehicle. However, after speaking with someone who identified himself as the owner, things got a bit more complicated.

I was informed that there would be an additional $99 fuel charge due to the weight of the engine, which I found to be a bit unexpected as I had not heard of this charge during my previous interactions with the company. Additionally, I was informed that in order to use my $100 coupon, I would need to pay via check or bank transfer, as the coupon indicated that it was for e-check payment only. I found this to be strange, as I've never encountered a company that didn't accept credit cards for payment.

When I requested to speak to the actual owner of the company, the person I was speaking with insisted that he was the owner and even told me that he would pray for me. I found this to be unprofessional and slightly off-putting. Furthermore, while there was a charge for the core upfront, it seemed strange that I was expected to prove the return of the core, adding more inconvenience and stress to the experience.

Of all the added fees and unexpected charges, the lack of chargeback protection was the final straw. It's baffling to me that a company in this day and age would try to take away customer protections in such a manner.

To make matters worse, after posting a review on this site and others, I received a text from an unknown number that revealed my personal information. This was quite concerning, and I even plan to file a police report regarding the matter.

Overall, I would advise anyone interested in doing business with Fraser to be cautious and ensure that everything is clearly defined and documented. There are many unexpected charges and fees, and it's important to know what you're getting into ahead of time.

Fraser Mixed experience with FraserEngineCo: Review of their online quote system and potential for price match & warranty

My experience with Fraser (fraserengineco.com) has been mixed so far. While I appreciate the convenience of being able to fill out an online form to request a quote, it is frustrating that I have not yet received any information. I do believe that giving this company a three-star rating at this point may be generous. There are a few things that I find troublesome. Firstly, I don't think it's necessary for me to speak to someone over the phone to receive a quote. If I wanted to do that, I would simply call places instead of looking for them online. Secondly, it takes an excessive amount of time for each option to load. For example, when I select the make of my car, it takes around 15 seconds for me to be able to select the model. Then, it takes another 15 seconds for me to select the next line, and so on.

Despite these issues, I understand that I have not had any real interaction with Fraser, so I cannot give a complete and honest review yet. However, I am interested to see how honest their price match is, as the website claims they will match or beat any competitors' price. Additionally, I am curious about the warranty that is offered. If Fraser delivers on their price match and warranty promises, my review may go from a generous three to a full five stars. It is important to me that I receive what I am after for a fair price, and that I am not mislead in any way.

Fraser Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Fraser Engine Co. for 2012 Chevy Express 3500 6.0 L Engine Purchase

I recently reached out to Fraser (fraserengineco.com) because I was interested in purchasing a 2012 Chevy Express 3500 6.0 L engine. Although I first spoke to a young lady who assured me that someone would call me back on Monday to provide with a quote, I did not receive any communication from Fraser until several more calls were made. It was only after I specifically asked for a supervisor that I finally received a call from an individual named Hector. However, the conversation did not go as planned as Hector began complaining about customers and our conversation began to veer off course.

While I understand that dealing with customers can be difficult, I'm disappointed that my request for a quote seemed to fall on closed ears. As a businessman myself, I know how important customer service is to a company's reputation and ability to generate future business. With that said, I'm still interested in doing business with Fraser and hope that a manager (other than Hector) can reach out to me to help me with my purchase. My number is ***005 and I would greatly appreciate it if someone could call me back. Thank you and have a good day.

Fraser Warning: My Frustrating Experience with Fraser Engine Co. - Dishonesty, Poor Service & Communication

I had an experience with Fraser Engine Co. that left me frustrated and disappointed. I placed an order for an engine in mid-July, and the male representative who answered my call was rude when I asked about different warranty options. Despite this, I needed the engine and called back to place my order. Within an hour, the core price had gone up, and the final price ended up being 17% more than the original quote, which was quite a shock. I knew some of this increase was likely due to taxes, but 17% seemed like a lot.

When I was told that the engine would arrive in 2 weeks, I was relieved. But when I later asked for a tracking number, I was told to wait a week for a call back. When I called them a week later, they informed me that the engine "didn't dyno test right before shipping" and that they needed to order parts, which would take another 4-6 weeks. I waited for this additional time and called to check on the status of the engine, only to discover that there was zero information available, and I had to leave a message for someone else to call me back.

When I called again the next day, I was alarmed to hear that the engine had not yet shipped, and there was "nothing in the notes" about the status or ETA. When they asked me if I wanted to cancel my order, I was hesitant but requested a few days to think about it. The representative said they would not cancel my order yet and would wait until I got back to them because they "didn't want me to lose my place in line." This comment struck me as strange, considering I had already paid for the engine a month prior. I shouldn't be in any line - I had already paid for it!

The following day, I called to cancel my order, and while speaking to a supervisor, I felt that he was very abrupt. When I asked for an email confirmation of the cancellation, he said I'd receive it soon. However, I never received it, which was frustrating. I ended up disputing the charge with my credit card company and received a conditional refund. Unfortunately, another month passed before the credit card company reapplied the charge back to my account. They claimed to have sent me a notice, but I never received it.

When I looked at the letter they sent, there was no explanation or details about the response from Fraser Engines, but they would not have reapplied the charge if Fraser Engines had been honest about the failed and canceled transaction. I made multiple calls to try to resolve the issue, and finally, after four hours and two additional calls, I received an email saying that my credit card had been refunded. There were no return calls from Fraser Engines, simply the email.

Overall, I believe that Fraser Engines never had the engine they charged me for two months ago, and they were dishonest about processing the cancellation refund. I wasted two months dealing with their poor customer service and lack of communication, and in the end, it wasn't even resolved easily. I want to warn others about my experience so that they don't have to go through this same ordeal.

Fraser Fraser Engine Co Review: Warranty Policy as Good as Toilet Paper - Look Elsewhere for Engines & Transmissions

I recently purchased two engines and a transmission from Fraser (fraserengineco.com). My first experience with this company was in 2018, and it went smoothly. However, the transmission failed due to a band failure, and Fraser replaced it and offered compensation for the installation. My recent encounter with this company has been dismal. I bought a basic Chevy 350 K engine, and the camshaft was locked upon first inspection. I had to request for replacement, but the process was arduous and took six weeks. I spent countless hours calling and following up before getting a replacement engine without any compensation. Moreover, I did not receive the core money promised, and I had to call repeatedly to push for the refund.

The engine I got from Fraser only lasted until December 2020 when it started making a cold start lifter noise, and I had to begin another claim. The customer service was terrible, and I was passed from one representative to another without any significant progress. The claim process took three weeks before finally speaking to a technician. I was told I had to pay for the parts, and the labor would not be covered. I asked why, and I was told that a licensed shop had to handle the repairs, and they would only pay the shop $50 per hour, which is unlikely.

Their warranty policy is as good as toilet paper, and I would advise anyone to look elsewhere for engines, transmissions, or any other purchase. I have dealt with warranty companies for over 20 years, and Fraser is one of the companies that will always look for a way not to pay a claim. A proper engine rebuilding company would not have such basic issues with a small block V8. I highly recommend you look elsewhere.

Fraser Poor Communication and Unprofessional Behavior at Fraser Engine Co

I recently had an experience with Fraser (fraserengineco.com) that I cannot help but share. While Danielle, one of the company's employees, was truly exceptional, unfortunately the same cannot be said about the rest of the staff.

After placing an order for an engine on May 5th and speaking to Anthony, I was given information that there was an engine in stock at the Texas location and that it would be available for pickup in Michigan on Tuesday. However, after waiting until Thursday with no communication from the company, I decided to follow-up. Anthony then denied providing me with the information about pickup on Tuesday and said that he had only said 7-10 days. While this would have been fine with me in the first place, Anthony's poor communication skills left me feeling frustrated and uncertain about my order.

Thankfully, on Friday evening Danielle called me back to let me know that the engine was ready for pickup in Shelby Twp. I asked her a few questions about the pickup process and she was very helpful and reassuring, which was appreciated. The following Monday I contacted Danielle again, just to make sure that everything was still on track, and she confirmed that it was. I left work early, borrowed a truck from my son-in-law, and headed to the pickup location.

Upon arrival, I was met with an unhelpful and rude man who sat at the front desk. He did not introduce himself and gave off the impression that I was bothering him. I began to explain that I was there to pick up my engine, but he yelled back that he couldn't hear me. When I removed my mask and repeated what I had said, he finally heard me and proceeded to yell back again. Danielle eventually came out with my paperwork and instructed him on what needed to be done. However, he then informed me that it would be a few hours before my engine would be ready due to the keys to the hi-lo being misplaced. He also expressed his frustration that I had not called ahead, despite the fact that I had confirmed my arrival with Danielle twice prior.

At this point, I was getting increasingly frustrated with the whole process and expressed my thoughts on the company's need to improve their work processes. The man seemed to take my comments as an offense and asked for my paperwork back. I was shocked and disappointed that he would resort to such unprofessional behavior, but he then proceeded to call me and tell me that they would be refunding my money instead of completing the transaction.

This experience left me feeling disappointed and unimpressed with Fraser. It was disappointing to see a business drop a $2,500 sale because they were unable to accept responsibility for their actions or communicate effectively with their customers. This behavior is unacceptable in any industry, let alone in the customer service sector, where building trust and rapport is so important. I caution others to be wary when considering doing business with Fraser. While Danielle was exceptional, it is the company's poor overall service and communication that has led me to conclude that I would not do business with them again.

Fraser Avoid Fraser Engines: My Disastrous Experience with Engine Replacement

I recently had the unfortunate experience of purchasing two replacement motors from Fraser Engines (found at fraserengineco.com) and regrettably, my experience was not a positive one. While I am not one to leave negative reviews lightly, I feel compelled to share my story in the hopes that others will avoid the headaches and financial loss I endured.

When I first purchased a DIY motor from Fraser Engines, it seemed like a great option to get my vehicle back up and running. Unfortunately, within just a few thousand miles, I began experiencing significant compression problems. Recognizing the issue, Fraser Engines sent me a replacement motor. This time around, however, they required that I use a shop to install the motor. While I was initially disappointed by this additional expense, I understood the need for a proper installation and was willing to follow their guidelines in the hopes of avoiding any future issues.

This hope, however, was short-lived. Within just 400 miles of driving with the second replacement motor, it failed. Frustrated and concerned, I brought it to the shop for inspection, only to discover that the motor had been built incorrectly. Understandably, I contacted Fraser Engines to address the issue, only to be told that they would not address the build quality problems on the second motor, leaving me to foot the bill yet again.

To make matters worse, I have been without my vehicle since the middle of December, which equates to a whopping five months of downtime due to the failure of the second motor. Both of the engine failures were mechanical in nature, with neither being attributable to improper installation. Rather, the Fraser technician even tried to suggest that the problem with the first engine was due to ethanol in the fuel.

With all of this in mind, I strongly urge anyone who is in the market for a replacement motor to avoid Fraser Engines at all costs. While their website may appear impressive, my experience has clearly demonstrated that their build quality and customer service do not live up to their claims. Save yourself the heartache and financial burden - find a more trustworthy engine replacement company.

Fraser Fraser Engine Co.: A Disappointing Experience with Warranty and Repair Costs

Recently, a consumer purchased a motor from Fraser (fraserengineco.com) and initially thought that they made a wonderful choice since they had purchased the motor warranty. However, they ended up having the motor replaced once and repaired, costing approximately $1,444.77 in recent repairs. The buyer's husband travels for work, and on his way to work in Grain Valley, MO, the motor failed again, leaving him with no other option but to find a nearby ship, which was approximately ten hours away from their home, resulting in another $400.00 in rental car expenses. It is frustrating to think that when you purchase a warranty, you would feel secure, but unfortunately, that was not the case. The buyer had spoken to Paul, who assured them that his supervisor had approved payment of the invoice, but unfortunately, no call back was made within 24 hours, which left the buyer feeling helpless. The customer had even sent photos of the invoice twice and called, but they still felt that they were not treated with the respect and dignity that they deserved. As a result of this poor service, the buyer felt disappointed and encourages future buyers to be aware of the potential pitfalls that accompany purchasing a motor warranty from Fraser.

Fraser Mixed Experience with Fraser Engine Company: High-Quality Engine but Poor Customer Service

I recently attempted to purchase an engine from Fraser Engine Company, but unfortunately my experience was not entirely positive. While I did encounter some helpful staff members, I was very disappointed with an individual named Anthony. He seemed intent on selling me the most expensive engine, likely in hopes of receiving a high commission. Additionally, he was very unpleasant to interact with, displaying a rude and unprofessional attitude. As a result, I will be reporting his behavior to the company in hopes of preventing others from encountering similar issues.

Another issue I encountered was a general lack of availability of engines. Anthony told me they did not have any in stock, but I sensed he was not being entirely truthful with me. He seemed annoyed when I asked questions and acted as if he wanted to end the conversation as quickly as possible. To make matters worse, he called me argumentative when I attempted to follow up on my queries.

Despite these issues, I will give Fraser Engine Company at least two stars. The engine I eventually purchased was of high quality and functioned very well, and other staff members were friendly and helpful. However, I hope the company takes steps to address customer service issues like those I encountered.

Fraser Unreliable and Dishonest: My Disappointing Experience with Fraser Engine Company

I had a rather unfortunate experience with Fraser Engine Company, which I feel compelled to share. I ordered a motor from them back in September, and to my dismay, it never arrived. Naturally frustrated, I contacted them in December of 2021 to ask about the status of my order. Sadly, the person who answered the phone was not at all helpful, to say the least. They informed me that Fraser had eight of my engines on order and that if I wasn't willing to wait, they would cancel my order and give it to someone else. I'd already been waiting for more than three months, and I couldn't fathom the idea of waiting any longer. I expressed my displeasure with this answer, but the person on the other end didn't seem to care much.

They did say they would keep the order in place, but it wasn't until five minutes after we hung up that they called me back. This time, they claimed to have found a whole box of parts and assured me that the motor would be ready by the first week of December. As time dragged on, I began to suspect that perhaps they were not being entirely truthful with me. Finally, on December 23rd, I received my motor - or so I thought.

Upon inspecting the shipping tag, I discovered that it wasn't even from Fraser Engine Company, but rather from Texas. This flagrant lie only served to further confirm my suspicions that something was amiss. But, undeterred, I eagerly took the motor to my mechanic to have it installed. To my dismay, it quickly became clear that it wasn't running properly. In fact, it was quite clear that something was seriously wrong with the motor.

So now, in February of 2022, I'm left without any resolution to my problems. I haven't received a call or any kind of assistance from Fraser Engine Company, and I'm left with a faulty motor that's not functioning properly. Needless to say, I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with Fraser Engine Company. They strike me as a dishonest and disreputable business that doesn't stand behind their products or their customers. In my opinion, they have no place in the market, and I would recommend avoiding them at all costs.

I purchased a remanufactured engine for my 2006 Toyota Camry late August 2023, this is one of my biggest

regret. I drive 20miles each day to work, I Did my first oil change with regular oil after driving 50miles

with break-in oil. my mechanic discovered a bad leak coming from rear main seal.

I contacted Fraser Engines to make them aware of this, After My mechanic pulled the engine down, AS THIS BOGUS company "claimed it was part of the warranty process to show proof of the leak. The leak was confirmed by their techs. I have been waiting for weeks now for Fraser engine

to fulfill the Warranty agreement for,WEEKS. I just wish I read these reviews before I even

thought of messing with THIS BOGUS ENGINE AND TRANSMISSIOIN COMPANY.

They use this bull crap warranty to catch consumers. I GOING TO LET PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT THIS SCAM ALL OVER SOCIAL MEDIA. and AFFIRM, the credit company they use.

Fraser Negative Experience with Fraser: Rude Representatives, Poor Customer Service, and Order Complications

My experience with Fraser was less than satisfactory. I reached out to them twice over the phone and both times I was met with rude Representatives. They were pushy and seemed disinterested in answering my questions or explaining anything about the products. Furthermore, every time I tried to speak, they would interrupt me and talk over me. It was extremely frustrating.

After some back and forth, I finally put in an order for a 5.4 Ford engine. However, the sales representative told me to go to their website to proceed with the order. So, I followed their instructions and placed my order online. But, when I finished, the website told me to contact the representative again. I waited for six hours before someone finally answered my call.

However, I was met with sarcastic and unhelpful behavior. The representative kept throwing out prices instead of answering my questions, which did not feel professional at all. They seemed bothered by my lack of knowledge about cars, which is not an acceptable way to treat customers.

In the end, I had to cancel my order, which was worth $5,000. I am very disappointed with the way Fraser treated me as a customer, and I would not be recommending them to anyone based on my experience. It's clear to me that they need to work on their customer service skills to improve the overall experience for their clients.

Fraser Appalling Customer Service Experience with Fraser Engine Company: A Warning

Recently, I had the opportunity to contact Fraser Engine Company for a much-needed engine replacement for my truck. My experience with the company, however, was far from exceptional. When I called the customer service department on 11/05/20, I was greeted by a representative named John Franklin, who stated himself as one of the owners of the company. I was hoping to receive information and assistance from someone knowledgeable and courteous, but instead, I was subjected to nothing but rudeness and sarcasm.

John Franklin displayed a serious lack of empathy, respect, and professionalism, which has been the worst customer service encounter I have ever experienced. This was truly disappointing, given that I had done my research and found Fraser Engine Company to have a great reputation in the industry. However, my interaction with John Franklin made me question whether I wanted to trust them with something as important as a new engine for my vehicle.

Despite my negative experience, I eventually made a purchase from Fraser Engine Company. However, I was still apprehensive about whether or not I would receive the service I deserved. I have to keep my fingers crossed and pray that I don't get cheated. Nevertheless, I will always be upfront with my lawyer and warn him about the transaction.

In conclusion, although the company may excel in their products, the disregard for customer service by John Franklin at Fraser Engine Company is simply abhorrent. There is a serious need for improvement in this area to ensure that potential customers have the best possible experience when dealing with Fraser Engine Company.

Fraser Fraser Engine Co. Review: Poor Customer Service and Frustrating Experience

My experience with Fraser (fraserengineco.com) left much to be desired. I had a very frustrating interaction with their sales department where I encountered three different employees all exhibiting an apathetic and uncaring attitude. I even called them out on their poor customer service, but was told that they were there solely to sell engines and not to prioritize customers.

Eventually, I was able to get someone to speak with me about the warranty for the motor, but it was like pulling teeth. The person was clearly not interested in answering my questions about locations, and when I persisted, they abruptly stated that they didn't have time for this and that they were sold out.

Feeling incredibly disheartened and frustrated, I decided to look into other options and came across Jasper Engines. While I have no affiliation with them, I am willing to pay a bit more for their quality service, parts, and warranty - something that I did not encounter with Fraser.

Overall, my experience with Fraser was very disappointing and I cannot recommend them to anyone looking for quality customer service and engine parts.

Fraser Fraser Engine Co. Review: Lack of Professionalism & Customer Service

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Fraser Engine Co. and I must say, I am extremely disappointed in their lack of professionalism and customer service. My husband and I purchased an engine from them and upon installation, we noticed that the check engine light remained on. Naturally, we contacted Fraser Engine Co. to inquire on how to fix this issue, and were told to take it to a diagnostic shop.

We took their advice and brought it to a Chevy dealer, thinking that an authorized GM service department would handle the issue with expertise. However, to our dismay, the dealer was not fond of Fraser Engine Co. and repeatedly told us that we should not have gone to Fraser and that we were told to take it to a dealer. Although we had paid for an extra warranty, Fraser Engine Co. was only willing to pay for a measly 2 hours of labor at a rate of $50 an hour.

It was completely absurd for them to ask us to rely on a non-GM affiliated mechanic to repair an engine that was supposedly authorized to work in a Chevrolet. We knew the issue was with the timing, which was something beyond our control, being inside the engine. We expected adequate support from Fraser Engine Co., but as it turned out, we were left with more questions than answers. Every time we requested to speak with a service manager, a lady kept calling us back, insisting that we were instructed not to take it to a dealer. This is not at all what we were told, and it was beyond frustrating to deal with their disorganization and lack of accountability.

To add fuel to the fire, the turnaround time for any form of resolution or support was just terrible. It was really disheartening to see a company with such a lousy attitude towards customer service. I would not recommend this company to anyone, and I would advise them to work on their business ethics and customer relations if they wish to remain in the industry.

Fraser Fraser Engine Company Review: Poor People Skills and Lack of Communication

This review about Fraser Engine Company (fraserengineco.com) is quite disheartening. The customer had to reluctantly order a motor because of the poor people skills demonstrated by one of the salesmen. Despite being told that the motor would ship "tomorrow", it took a week for the customer to receive any update on the shipment. When the customer asked, the salesman said that it would ship on Thursday and advised the customer to call back on Friday if they didn't receive any confirmation. On Friday, the salesman assured the customer that the motor had shipped, and they should receive confirmation on the same day. However, the customer didn't receive any confirmation even by Monday, so they decided to give the courtesy call that the salesman had requested.

To the customer's surprise, the salesman was extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of greeting the customer, he immediately started attacking them, calling them an "unruly customer" and threatening to turn the truck around. The customer explained that they were just following up on the previously requested callback and rightfully expressed their frustration at the lack of communication and the $4000 payment that was made. It seemed like the salesman hadn't yet shipped the motor.

Fortunately, the customer was given a full refund, which is the only positive aspect of their encounter with the company. It's unfortunate that such a lack of professionalism and customer service skills exist in any business that is supposedly serving the needs of its clients.

Fraser Fraser Engines Refuses to Honor Warranty: A Disappointing Experience with Diesel Engine Purchase

In October of 2020, my company bought a diesel engine from Fraser (fraserengineco.com) for one of our work trucks. The engine was installed with labor and materials, costing us $17,000. However, in June of 2021, only 7800 miles after installing the engine, it failed. Unsurprisingly, we were quite disappointed and frustrated by this unexpected problem. We contacted Fraser engines to submit a warranty claim and they instructed our mechanic on how to troubleshoot the engine. It was determined that the front engine cover had failed, causing a mix of water and oil in the engine, resulting in significant damage.

Unfortunately, our disappointment only deepened when Fraser refused to honor their warranty, despite the engine failing in such a quick timeframe. To make matters worse, they only offered to send us a new front engine cover, without paying for any of the labor costs to diagnose or fix the problem. As a result, our truck has encountered significant damage, with the water and oil mixture spreading to other crucial parts of the vehicle, such as the radiator, fuel pump and turbo.

At this point, we have consulted an attorney to handle the warranty claim, only to discover that Fraser has a specific provision in the warranty that dictates any legal disputes against them must be filed in Michigan. Despite living in South Alabama, we are prepared to travel to Michigan as many times as necessary to fight this issue. It is disheartening to be taken advantage of in this manner and we feel strongly that they should be held accountable for their product's failure.

In conclusion, our experience with Fraser engines has been incredibly disappointing, particularly concerning their refusal to uphold their warranty on the engine they sold us. We are hoping that by sharing our story, other consumers will be made aware of their terms and conditions and will be cautious when considering purchasing from them in the future. Thank you, Dana Sasser.
