So, I ordered some smoked taillight lenses from RPI Designs back in December. Unfortunately, when the item arrived, it was broken. I tried to reach out to the customer service team, but I had to leave a voicemail. Eventually, Tammy responded to me via email and asked for some photos of the broken item. I sent her the photos and asked for a refund, but she wanted to replace the item instead. I declined because it was obvious that the item was lacking in workmanship.

Tammy got really upset with me and said that she would file a claim on my behalf with USPS. However, I knew that this would take over 6 weeks, especially with USPS being so slow. I advised her that she should open the dispute with them on their behalf since they did the shipping, not me. In the end, I opened a dispute with PayPal and finally got my refund today, over a month later.

Overall, I would say that you should steer clear of this company. If you have a problem with your order, getting a refund will not be an easy task. It's a shame because I really wanted those taillight lenses, but the poor workmanship and terrible customer service just wasn't worth it.

I recently bought a set of Corvette Z816-1 splash guards from RPI Designs and I gotta say, I'm not too happy with my purchase. The instructions they provided said that each set is fitted on a 2010 Corvette Grand Sport before they are shipped out, but it seems like they didn't do a very good job with mine. As you can see in the pictures, there's a pretty big gap between the splash guard and the body of my car. I mean, come on, it's not rocket science to make sure they fit properly before sending them out, right?

And it's not just the gap that's the problem. The guard doesn't even fit the contour of the body properly. I don't want to force it into place because I'm only drilling through the plastic wheel well to hold the guard on. I don't want to damage my car just because RPI Designs didn't do their job properly.

When I contacted them about the issue, they just told me to send the guards back at my own expense. They didn't even offer to try and fit them properly like they said they would in their instructions. It's like they don't care about their customers at all. They just sell parts and don't back them up.

Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with RPI Designs. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone looking for quality car parts.

I gotta say, I was pretty bummed out by my experience with RPI Designs. When I got my parts, one of them had a little issue - one of the holes was kinda wonky and the edges were raised up. I reached out to customer service, but they just brushed it off and said it didn't matter because it was on the bottom of the part. I mean, come on, I still paid for a quality product!

Then, when I went to install everything, the YouTube video they had didn't even cover all the parts in the kit. That was frustrating. And to top it off, when I did a dry fit of the parts, the cover on the driver side didn't fit well at all. The passenger side was fine, but the driver side had a big ol' gap. Customer service's response? "Don't worry about it, just cover it up with some chrome tape." Uh, no thanks.

So, I asked for a return authorization and sent the kit back. But guess what? I still haven't gotten my refund. Not cool, RPI Designs. Not cool at all.

I ordered a stripe kit for my 2018 Camaro from RPI Designs and was excited to get it installed. However, when I took the kit to a licensed 3M installer, they told me that the vinyl was not suitable for a vehicle and suggested that I return it. I shipped the kit back to RPI Designs in its original sealed packaging, hoping for a refund.

Unfortunately, RPI Designs claimed that the package was not in resalable condition and refused to give me a refund. They even tried to blame the manufacturer for the issue, but I knew that I had ordered directly from RPI Designs and that the package had been sent to them. I was very disappointed with their customer service and felt like I had been ripped off.

I decided to dispute the charge with my bank, but I would caution others to be careful when dealing with RPI Designs. Their website may have glowing reviews, but my experience was far from positive. It's important to do your research and make sure that you're getting a quality product from a reputable company.

I just got my order from RPI Designs and I gotta say, I'm pretty happy with it. At first, I was a little worried because I couldn't get a hold of anyone to confirm my order. I sent an email and clicked on the link they gave me, but no response. But I decided to take a chance and ordered anyway on May 14, 2023.

Fast forward to today, May 23, 2023, and I finally got through to a really nice lady who told me my order was on its way and would arrive today. And it did! So, I gotta give them credit for coming through in the end.

Now, I will say that they're not the easiest company to work with. It's tough to get in touch with them, so if you're someone who needs a lot of hand-holding, this might not be the best choice for you. But if you're willing to take a chance and trust that they'll come through, then you might be pleasantly surprised like I was.

The product itself was accurate and the price was good, so I can't complain there. I haven't had to deal with any returns yet, so I can't speak to that. But for my specific order, I'm giving them a 3-star rating (up from 1 star) because of the price and the fact that they did eventually come through with my order.

Overall, I'd say that RPI Designs is a legit business, but just be prepared for a bit of a challenge when it comes to communication. If you're willing to take that risk, then you might just find a good deal like I did.

I'm so bummed out that I didn't read these reviews before I ordered from RPI Designs back in April 2021. It's been almost 4 months now and I still haven't gotten my painted billet caps. I've sent several emails asking for an ETA, but I haven't gotten any response. It's super frustrating!

Finally, I got the painted engine plenum cover, but it was obvious right out of the box that the paint job was not great. It looked like it had only been sprayed with one quick coat of paint. It didn't match the depth of the normal paint and didn't look anything like the quality of the pictures on the RPI website. But, the color was close enough and it's under the hood, so I went ahead and installed it.

My concerns about the quality of the paint were confirmed after the first drive when the engine heat caused the paint to separate from the cover! I was so disappointed and frustrated. I'm not sure if I'll ever get the engine caps or cover corrected. If I don't hear anything in the next week or so, I'm going to dispute the charge with my credit card company and report RPI Designs to the BBB. It's really sad that their service is so poor.

I ordered two custom items from RPI Designs back in May and boy was I excited to receive them! However, my excitement quickly turned to frustration when I didn't receive my first order until 13 weeks later and my second order until a whopping 18 weeks later! I mean, come on, I could have grown a whole garden in that time!

Every time I reached out to inquire about my orders, I was told that they would be shipped out within the next few days. But guess what? That never happened! I was starting to feel like I was being strung along like a cat with a toy.

When I finally received my first item, a custom painted plenum cover, I was extremely disappointed. The pictures on the website made it look like a masterpiece, but what I received was far from it. The paint coverage was terrible and didn't even match the color of my car! And to top it off, the paint blistered in a dozen spots after only a 60-minute drive! I mean, seriously, how can a company let something like that happen?

The second item, custom painted billet caps, looked great at first glance. But when I tried to install them, they didn't all fit properly despite the fact that I have the exact make and model that the website says they will fit. What a letdown!

It's clear to me that this company doesn't care about customer service or product quality. I'm currently trying to get a refund, but I'm not holding my breath. I doubt they will agree to it. My advice to you is to steer clear of this company unless you want to waste several hundred dollars on products that will make your car look worse, not better. It's just plain sad!

In fact, I'm so disappointed that I'm in the process of filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I mean, they claim to be "Accredited" by the BBB, but that's just a joke! Don't make the same mistake I did. Stay far away from RPI Designs!

And wouldn't you know it, the very same day I canceled, the website updated to say that the order had shipped. I thought, great, they're finally on their way. But when the package arrived a week later, only one of the items I ordered was in there.

I called up RPI Designs again and told Paul that I found the missing item somewhere else, and that I just wanted to cancel the order and get my money back. But he refused to cancel it, saying he had to check if it had been shipped. He promised to get back to me in a couple of hours, but it took him two whole days to even respond to my email.

At this point, I'm just fed up with these guys. Their customer service is terrible. They never answer their phones, and they don't respond to emails either. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to get my money back. So take my advice and steer clear of RPI Designs.

I called and spoke to Jennifer, who said she had to "text the guy" and would get back to me. But I never heard anything. I sent another email begging for a response before I took action with my credit card company, the BBB, or social media. But still no reply.

It's been over three weeks since that last email, and I still haven't heard anything. I'm out over $200 with no product or refund, and I have a painted air intake cover that I had to spend even more money on to get it to fit. I wish I had read some of the negative reviews before I ordered from RPI Designs. So if you're thinking about ordering from them, be careful.

The pieces did not fit together properly, and it appeared that one or more small pieces were missing. To make matters worse, I also discovered that there was no attachment tape included in the package, and the item did not have a flange to attach it to the plenum. I was frustrated by the lack of attention to detail and the poor quality of the product.

I recently bought a high wing spoiler for my 2021 C8 Corvette from RPI Designs (rpidesigns.com). They told me it would take 5 weeks to paint the product, which was a bit of a wait, but I was excited to get it. After 5 weeks, I contacted them to check on the status and they told me it was in the paint shop. But then, they hung up on me! I done ordered three things from RPI Designs on May 20, 2021. They sent me an email the next day saying that the things was in their paint shop. It's been 11 weeks and I done got two of the things. I been calling and emailing them for status on the third thing but ain't nobody returning my calls or replying to my emails. Finally, I done got a hold of Jennifer on August 3 and told her all the problems I been having with them not getting back to me. Let me tell you, DO NOT do business with this company, you gonna regret it. They ain't no cheaper than other companies. I done dealt with Corvette Mods and they're great.

I recently made a purchase from RPI Designs for a waterfall to add to my Corvette. I was really excited to receive it and couldn't wait to install it. However, I was disappointed to find out that I had not received any response to my multiple emails and voice mails. I was really frustrated and didn't know what to do.

I wanted to get some upholstery materials for my Corvette, so I gave RPI Designs a call. The person who answered the phone told me that they only sell premade kits. I was a bit disappointed, but I understood. I decided to call around to other suppliers to see if I could find what I was looking for. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, I was unable to find any materials in stock elsewhere.

I decided to give RPI Designs another call to ask about the premade kits. This time, I spoke to a guy named Paul. I started to explain that I wanted to purchase one of their kits, but before I could finish my sentence, he interrupted me and said, "You already called here and I said I couldn't help you." Then, he promptly hung up on me. I couldn't believe it. I was shocked by the unprofessionalism of the situation. I tried calling back, but they wouldn't answer my calls.

In my opinion, this kind of behavior is unacceptable. I have never experienced anything like this before. I would recommend that you stick with Ecklers for good service and reliable parts.

I recently got myself a C3 Vette about 6 weeks ago and was looking for some parts to upgrade it. I stumbled upon RPI Designs and decided to order a C3 Upper Shifter Boot from them. However, when the product arrived, I was disappointed to find out that it was too big for my car. It wasn't even close to fitting properly. I tried to reach out to their customer service team to ask for a refund, but all I heard was crickets. I was frustrated and didn't know what to do.

Luckily, I had paid through PayPal, so I decided to inquire through them. After some back and forth, RPI Designs finally agreed to refund me for the returned product. However, I was disappointed to find out that they wouldn't pay for the shipping back. I was left with no choice but to pay for the shipping myself.

In my opinion, their customer service is non-existent. I would advise anyone looking for car parts to go somewhere else. I hope I get my money back soon, as I have already sent the part back and won't have anything to show for my $42. If I could give them a minus star rating, I definitely would.

UPDATE: I finally got my money refunded, but I was disappointed to find out that they deducted $4.31 from my refund to cover the shipping cost. It's not a lot of money, but it's the principle of the matter. Overall, I wouldn't recommend RPI Designs to anyone looking for car parts.

So, I recently got myself an Anderson Carbon Fiber trunk lid from RPI Designs (rpidesigns.com). The delivery was a bit late, but that's okay, things happen, right? The package arrived with some damage to the cardboard, and the shipper made a note of it. When I took the lid out of the box, I noticed that it was loosely packaged, and unfortunately, the right rear corner had been dropped, which caused some spider cracks on the carbon fiber.

I immediately sent some emails to RPI Designs, but I didn't get any response. I tried calling them, but no one answered. I was starting to get frustrated, but I didn't give up. I sent more emails and made more calls, but still no answer. Finally, after a few days, they responded, but unfortunately, they denied my claim. They said that I got what I ordered, so I should be happy with it.

Honestly, I was really disappointed with their service. I can't remember the last time I had such a bad experience with a supplier. I'm going to try to get a refund through my credit card company, but I'm not sure how that's going to go. I was really looking forward to upgrading my Mustang with more parts from RPI Designs, but now I think I'll have to look for another supplier.

Overall, I think RPI Designs has some work to do when it comes to customer service. I understand that mistakes happen, but they should at least respond to their customers and try to make things right. I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with the engine cover I got from RPI Designs for my 2020 Mustang GT. The color coverage was just plain terrible - I mean, I installed it anyway, but after driving the car just twice, the paint started blistering. I sent it back for a repaint, but when I got it back, the paint coverage was still pretty poor. I installed it again, and this time I drove for about 100 miles before opening the hood to find that the paint had blistered yet again. And now, after driving a few hundred more miles, the blistering is just everywhere on the cover. It's so bad that I'm honestly embarrassed to show it off.

I mean, seriously, how hard is it to get this right? I'm just really disappointed with the quality of this product. If you're thinking about buying from RPI Designs, I'd definitely recommend doing your homework first. I wrote a one-star review on their site, but I haven't seen it posted yet. I wrote again recently, and I'll keep checking to see if it gets posted. But honestly, I just wish I had done more research before buying this cover.

I recently had an experience with RPI Designs, also known as Southern Car Parts, and I have to say it wasn't the best. I wish I had read some of the negative reviews before placing my order.

I ordered a Torch Red console cushion, but when it arrived it was Ruby Red (which is more like a Burgundy color). I tried calling and emailing, but didn't get a response until I was told that my order number wasn't in their system. I even sent them a copy of the packing list with my order on it, but still didn't hear back from them. I tried again recently, but haven't had any luck yet. So, if you're thinking of ordering from them, be careful.

To make matters worse, they also charged me for Bose Gold speaker decals that never shipped. I tried to contact them about it, but haven't gotten a response. I did see that they have them listed on eBay, but I didn't order from there. Luckily, I was able to find them from another Corvette parts dealer and received them in just three days.

Overall, my experience with RPI Designs wasn't great. I hope they can improve their customer service and communication in the future.
