FLANNELS review: Sold a fake jacket and refused refund - worn out after 2 days and 14 minutes washing

1. I purchased a puffer jacket for my son (see invoice below) and paid £325 for it knowing that, the coat will last him for years.

2. When my son came back from school on his bike during a rainy day which was 2 days after the jacket’s delivery, I put the coat in the washing for a 14 minutes cycle to remove the mud following your instructions of 30C and no dry cleaning. When the jacket came out of the washing machine, all the inside form/puffiness had disappeared. It is clear that you are selling expensive products to customers which are fake.

3. I took the jacket to the Watford store where they had originally ordered online for us using their store’s iPads and they agreed that the jacket was defective. The Manager and another staff member had a look at it and agreed that the jacket was defective and there should not be any issues with getting a full refund or another jacket.

4. On your website it clearly says "a staff member will assess the item to determine whether the issue is a manufacturing defect or the result of normal wear and tear."
COULD YOU EXPLAIN TO ME HOW A 12 YEAR OLD CAUSED WEAR AND TEAR OF A JACKET COSTING £325 IN 2 DAYS?

5. I am going to take legal action against you for day time robbery from a 12 year old’s child who only wanted a decent jacket as a Christmas present. My son saved for this money only for you to rob a child?

6. I am a qualified Fashion Designer and I spent 4 years studying fashion, I have never come across a puffy jacket that is purchased and washed for 14 minutes and within 2 days the jacket has lost it’s puffiness. I have designed such jackets in the past. We have purchased numerous puffy jackets from Nike, Addidas, Sports Direct etc. over the years and we have never experienced such an issue with the jackets. These jackets have lasted for years and yours lasted for 2 days. How do you justify this?

7. You have failed as a fashion business to deliver your promises in supplying genuine goods. You have failed as a business to owner the fact that you will refund unless it's a result of normal wear and tear. What tear happens in 2 days of the jacket being delivered?

8. At this point, I’m going to warn others through every channel of reviews (I review businesses without any bias, see my past reviews), social media, Herts and County (JVC) consumer show etc. to deter, stop and warn as many customers as I possibly can, not to purchase any products from you which are not only expensive but FAKE.

9. You sold my 12 year old son a fake jacket and I can assure you that you will refund every single penny of that money including the delivery charge totalling £325. The tone of your email was threatening and disgusting. I will post this online too for the world to see. I am giving you 48 hours to refund what you robbed from a 12 year old child.

I would like to make a formal complaint regarding the refusal of a full refund of my son's 12 year old's jacket.
