On january 18th, 2010 my fiancee and I went in to the eyemart express in albuquerque, new mexico. My fiancee recieved an eye exam and proceeded to pick out the frames and place the order for them. We were then told that we had to pay for the glasses up front before we picked them up the next day. I was frustrated by this because there was no mention of the charge when we had called prior for pricing. I had to run to the bank to get some money to pay for the fee. Upon my return I was told by fiancee that there was also an additional charge for the lenses. Already irritated by the whole thing I told my fiancee "fine lets just get them and never come back here again" when we went to pay the retail manager markus at this location was our cashier. He was very rude when I expressed my frustration regarding the fact that there was no mention of a seperate charge for the lenses. I felt that it was ridiculous that they would charge seperate for them when the fact of the matter is that they should be included because you can't have glasses without lenses!!! Its just not plossible. So after expressing my irritation the retail manager markus proceeds to tell me "well what do you want us to do give you the lenses for free" I responded by saying "well you would think that when purchasing glasses that the lenses would be included seeing as how you can't see through glasses without them" I also told him "i'm not going to fight with you i'm just gonna pay for my fiancee's glasses and i'm never coming here again" the final response from him was "that's fine, I don't care". We walked out of there extremely heated! I feel that that was the worst service that I have ever received from any store in my life! I'm spending money there that I don't really have to spend but I do because my fiancee needs his glasses!! We have to pick up his glasses tomorrow morning january 19th, 2010 at 11am mountain time. I feel that this situation needs rectification! My fiancee and I have been disrespected and they have lost our business for good. We will be telling our friends about the service we have recieved and they will not be going there either! Please address this situation and make rectification!
