Experteer Fraud , unauthorized transactions, stay away

I paid only for one month of Premium Membership and after that they illegally took money from my account. I did not authorized these transactions and I cancelled my credit card because of them. They keep sending me emails to pay for one more month and I also have to pay extra fees for the "delayed" payment. Someone has to stop them. I will report them to the EU Consumer Protection.

Recommendation: STAY AWAY

Experteer Experteer Review: Stay Away from this Fraudulent Website

Experteer is a website that you should stay away from if you don't want to lose your hard-earned money. They have a habit of taking money from your account without doing anything for you. My partner, who is a Ph. D., is currently a victim of their fraudulent activities. As I write this review, they are still taking money from his account. The only way out for him is to dispute the charges with his bank and cancel his credit card. Experteer is so stubborn that they won't even cancel any of the "services" they claim you signed up for. Even if you agree to their terms, they won't do anything for you. So, it's best to avoid Experteer at all costs.

Update: After my friend wrote to them and I published this review, Experteer credited him for their most recent charge, including the additional "international transaction fee." We are grateful that Experteer took this step.

Experteer Experteer Review: Beware of Scammers and Hidden Charges

Experteer seems like a professional website, but I gotta say, they're scammers. I cancelled my membership, but I didn't write it down, and my wife didn't notice the recurring charges from Experteer on our credit card statement. It was really hard to get in touch with them. They're based in Europe, and they don't have any phone numbers on their website. When they finally replied to my email, they said they couldn't refund my money, and they couldn't cancel my membership for another two months!

They also have some resume services that work with them, and they're really pushy. They'll find something wrong with your resume no matter what, just so they can sell you their services. They're scammers too.

Experteer Experteer Review: Don't Waste Your Money on This Useless Job Site

Don't even think about putting your hard-earned money into Experteer. They don't do anything to help job hunters and just wait for you to forget when your subscription is up. Other job sites remind you when your premium membership is about to expire, and if they don't, they're happy to give you a refund if you call within a reasonable time. But not Experteer. I called them right after they charged me, and they were so rude to me. They're based in Germany, and they have no idea how to treat customers. They make you agree to their terms and conditions, but it's just a trick to get you to sign up. If they were doing their job, you wouldn't need to renew your subscription because you'd already have a new job.

Experteer Experteer Review: Disappointing Service, Sneaky Fees, and Lack of Opportunities

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with Experteer. I mean, sure, they offer the same stuff as other free sites, but they charge a pretty penny for it. And what do you get in return? Your data being used to make them even more money. It just doesn't seem worth it to me.

And don't even get me started on the lack of contact from companies and headhunters. I've been on there for over 6 months and haven't heard a peep. Meanwhile, other free sites have been blowing up my inbox with opportunities.

But the real kicker is the sneaky way they try to make money. When you sign up for a 6 month subscription, they don't tell you that you're actually signing up for a lifetime contract. And then they just start charging you without any warning. That's just not cool, man.

I know they have all the legal stuff in their terms and conditions, but come on. That's not how you treat your customers. And if they keep this up, they're gonna ruin their reputation for good.

Oh, and good luck trying to get your personal data removed. It's like pulling teeth.

Experteer Experteer Review: Not Worth the Hefty Fee for Job Seekers - A Disaster Full of "Middle-Men

This site, Experteer, is not worth the hefty fee of 174 EUR/year for job seekers. They automatically renew your subscription with only one notice and do not provide any benefit to the customer. I gave up on the site after 2 months because nothing was realized, but they did not cancel my subscription. Now, they are debating that I have to renew even though there has been zero benefit for me. The matching of positions does not come close to the CV uploaded, and the recruiters are just another link to other ATS/application tracking systems. I have not received any replies from the recruiters. This site is full of "middle-men," and LinkedIn does the same thing for free in many cases. Overall, it is a disaster, and I am debating with a representative to cancel my renewal, but there seems to be no way out. I can prove that the site has done nothing for me, but they still insist on renewing my subscription. I hope that EU Consumer Protection will protect us job-seekers from sites like this.

Experteer Experteer Review: Hidden Auto-Renewal and Useless Service - Avoid at All Costs!

I recently decided to give Experteer a try after seeing a special offer for a 6-month package at a reasonable price of ?37. I was aware of the cost and signed up for it consciously. However, what I didn't realize was that they had automatically signed me up for auto-renewal without giving me the option to decline it. This was hidden in the small print on their sign-up page, which I didn't notice at the time.

After using their service for a while, I found that it was completely useless and had no intention of renewing my subscription. I was even willing to forgo my initial payment of ?37. However, to my surprise, they charged me a much higher amount of ?65 after 6 months without informing me beforehand. What's even more strange is that they didn't even notify me after deducting the payment from my account.

I later discovered this charge on my card statement, two months after the fact. When I contacted them to request a refund, they refused and pointed to the small print that I had missed during sign-up. They did have a 14-day clause where I could argue about the amount deducted, but I didn't even get the chance to do so.

I'm not sure how Experteer is allowed to operate in the UK with this type of business model. It's clearly an unethical practice, and I hope that the consumer protection service takes action against them. I have no doubt that they are fleecing many other customers in the same way.

Overall, I would advise others to avoid this useless service. It's not worth the hassle and potential financial loss.

Experteer Experteer.com Review: Crooked Cancellation Procedure and Questionable Premium Service

I recently had an experience with Experteer.com that left me feeling quite frustrated. I had signed up for their "premium" subscription, but decided to cancel it in March. However, to my surprise, I noticed that they charged my card again in April. Naturally, I contacted them to request a refund, but they refused, claiming that they had sent me an email to confirm the cancellation and that I did not respond. I cannot confirm whether or not this is true, as I did not see the email. However, if they did indeed send such an email, it most likely ended up in my spam folder and was automatically deleted after a few days, as is the case with most "form" emails.

What bothers me most about this situation is the fact that Experteer.com's procedure for confirming cancellations seems rather crooked. By forcing customers to confirm their cancellation through a spam folder, they are essentially setting them up to fail and stealing money from them. Refusing to issue a refund only confirms my suspicion that the whole "business" of Experteer.com is borderline fraudulent.

Furthermore, I found that their so-called "premium" service offers nothing that other free job sites do not offer. It seems to be nothing more than a copy-and-paste job from thousands of other job sites. I cannot imagine any serious company looking for experts in the US using "copy and paste recruiter" con artists in Germany.

In conclusion, I would advise anyone considering using Experteer.com to stay away. Their business practices are questionable at best, and their premium service is not worth the money. There are plenty of other job sites out there that offer the same services for free, without the risk of being scammed.

Experteer Experteer Review: Unethical Practices and Fraudulent Renewals

I decided to give Experteer a try in November 2016, as I was looking to relocate to Germany. I signed up for a 3-month premium membership, hoping to find the perfect job that would allow me to make the move. However, things didn't go as planned, and in January, I realized that I wanted to stay where I was.

When I tried to log into my Experteer.de profile, I was surprised to see that it didn't recognize my email anymore. I tried logging in many times, but to no avail. I started to think that maybe my membership had expired, and that was the reason why I couldn't log in.

On February 27th, I received a bill for 80 Euros for a new membership. I was surprised, as I did not ask for this renewal, nor could I have canceled my subscription as I couldn't log in. However, to my surprise, my login worked on the 28th of February again.

I was not happy with this situation, and I decided to contact customer service to get a refund. I spoke to Sara Bernulli, who told me that they could not refund my money, and that I should have read the terms and conditions. I was not happy with this response, as I felt that I had been tricked into renewing my membership.

I strongly advise against using Experteer, as I believe that they engage in fraudulent practices. I had to cancel my credit card, as I saw online that other people had complained about Experteer deducting money from their accounts even after they had canceled their subscription.

In conclusion, I would not recommend using Experteer, as I believe that they engage in unethical practices. If you are looking for a job search platform, I suggest looking elsewhere.

Experteer Executive Job Site Review: Zero Value Service, Zero Value Customer Service

This service is not worth your time or money, let me tell you. Like many others who have felt scammed by this company, I too believed that I would get some value from this site advertising Executive Jobs from $100k. But boy, was I wrong. I spent hours completing my profile to 100% completion, indicating that I was available for contact, and guess what? Not a single recruiter contacted me. ZERO. And to make matters worse, few of the job postings were even relevant to my search. I mean, what's the point of a career site if it can't even provide relevant job postings?

Feeling concerned that the problem was me, I decided to check out the Headhunter tab. And what did I find? Out of 292 "headhunters" on the site, only 1 had any open positions. And that recruiter had only 8 openings! So, a career site for Executives with only 8 openings. This is a joke. I mean, what kind of service is this?

After being sorely disappointed with my 3-month subscription, I decided to cancel before my renewal date. But the cancellation process was so confusing and byzantine that I wasn't sure if my cancellation notice had been received. Unfortunately, they did not receive my cancellation notice and renewed my membership. I immediately contacted them about my desire to cancel and they refused to refund my money. Can you believe it?

In conclusion, this service is a complete waste of time and money. Zero Value Service, Zero Value Customer Service= $136 mistake. I would not recommend this service to anyone. You're better off looking for job postings in the Sunday paper.

Experteer Experteer Review: Misleading Salary Info, Terrible Headhunting, and Poor Customer Service

I had a really bad time using Experteer. I signed up hoping to find job opportunities that matched my desired salary range. However, the site was misleading and false advertised the salary levels for the jobs they listed. When I clicked on the job, it redirected me to another site where the salary was nowhere near what was advertised on Experteer. This was really frustrating and felt like a scam.

The headhunting service was also terrible. I received only one inquiry, and it wasn't even close to my skillset. It felt like they weren't even trying to match me with relevant job opportunities.

When I tried to cancel my subscription, the process didn't work. The lead times for cancellation were unreasonable, and I had to give notice almost as soon as I started the subscription. When I was charged for six months automatically, I asked for a refund because the system didn't work, but they refused three times over a period of three weeks. They claimed that it was impossible to refund, but I know that it's entirely possible. They just didn't want to do it.

I strongly advise against using this site. The experience was terrible, and the information was misleading. It didn't add any value to my job hunting process, and in fact, it detracted from it. The customer service was also terrible, and they didn't seem interested in helping me or adding value to their service. It felt like they were only interested in making money and not serving their customers.

Experteer needs to seriously re-evaluate their website and customer service. They are not serving anyone except themselves, and that's not how a business should operate. Avoid this site at all costs.

Experteer Membership cancellation

I signed up for Experteer when I was searching for a job. This platform by the way was not helpful and didn't assist me at all with finding a job. When they tried to automatically renew my membership and run my credit card, my credit card company called me and asked if this was Fraud. I told them that I forgot about the renewal date but would cancel with Experteer so they wouldn't shut down my credit card and hopefully that would settle it. My credit card company said be mindful they may still try to run your credit card after you do that. Sure enough, they did. I have been emailing with support and they told me that they cannot do anything about it or refund my money. I literally cancelled the day they tried to run my card. I have never had this happen in the past with any other company. It is obvious they are just trying to scam people because they know people forget renewal dates but refuse to refund their money.

Experteer Experteer.com: A Scam or Just Terrible Customer Service?

I signed up for the fancy premium option on Experteer.com back in 2017. I was feeling pretty good about it, thinking I'd be able to find some sweet job opportunities and maybe even get a raise. But boy, was I wrong.

Fast forward to a year later, and I'm getting ready to say goodbye to my subscription. But then, out of nowhere, the site tries to charge my credit card without any warning! That's totally illegal, right? I mean, they're supposed to give you at least two weeks' notice before they try to renew your subscription.

And to make matters worse, I couldn't even cancel the renewal on the website! It was totally blocked. So I had to write a claim to the company, and of course, it took them a whole 48 hours to get back to me. What a joke.

Honestly, I don't think this company provides anything of value. It's probably just a big ol' scam. So if you're thinking about signing up, don't bother. Save your money and look for job opportunities elsewhere.

Experteer Experteer Review: Terrible Website and Sneaky Subscription Practices

This website, Experteer, is just plain awful! It's so confusing that I can't even figure out how to use it properly. I can't find any real job suggestions or connections, and it's just a waste of time. What's worse is that they tried to charge me for another year's subscription even though I had already deleted my account. They didn't even send me a confirmation email, how sneaky! I wish I had done more research before signing up because it seems like this is a common practice for them. I don't understand how they're still in business with such terrible customer service.

Luckily, my AMEX card came to the rescue and helped me fight this issue. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this website and if you do happen to fall for their tricks, be prepared to fight them tooth and nail. It's just not worth the hassle.

Experteer Experteer Review: No Luck Finding Jobs, No Customer Service, Possible Fraud

I've been using Experteer since March 2019, but I haven't had any luck finding any job opportunities. I've decided to cancel my account, but I've noticed that there are no phone numbers or email details for customer service - which is definitely a red flag.

I've tried to cancel my subscription twice using the online message function, but I haven't received any confirmation emails yet. It's frustrating because Experteer keeps taking payments from my account. I might have to contact my UK bank to cancel the direct debit.

Honestly, this feels like entrapment and maybe even fraud. I would definitely recommend avoiding Experteer.

Experteer Experteer Review: Poor Customer Service and Difficulty Cancelling Membership

So, I recently signed up for Experteer and let me tell you, it's been a bit of a hassle. Once you sign up, it seems like there's no way out. I mean, you can't even call them because they're based in Germany! And when you try to cancel your membership, it's like they make it intentionally difficult. You can't cancel through your account settings, and when you try to use their contact us page, it just redirects you back to your account settings. What gives?

So, after trying to cancel for months, we finally decided to email them. And what did we get? An automated response with no follow up. Talk about frustrating. And to make matters worse, they kept our membership active and are now claiming that our account is overdue. Seriously?

I finally logged into the account for the first time in months and guess what? Not one recruiter has viewed my profile. What a waste of time and money. I mean, I thought this site was supposed to help me find a job, not give me a headache.

Overall, I would not recommend Experteer. The lack of customer service and difficulty in cancelling your membership is just not worth it. Save yourself the trouble and look for job opportunities elsewhere.

Experteer Difficulty Cancelling Experteer Premium Membership and Lack of Customer Support

I'm having a bit of a tough time with Experteer. I've been trying to cancel my premium membership for a while now, but it seems like the website just won't let me. I've gone through the cancellation process multiple times, but I never receive the confirmation email that I need to finalize the cancellation. It's frustrating because I know that my email details are correct in their system, so I'm not sure what the issue is.

Unfortunately, because I can't seem to cancel my subscription, it's going to auto-renew soon. I don't really want to keep paying for a service that I'm not using, but it seems like there's no way out. I've tried reaching out to the company in a few different ways - I've written to their CEO, posted on their Facebook and LinkedIn pages, and even tried contacting their customer support team. But so far, I haven't received any response at all. It's really disappointing because I feel like I'm just throwing my money away at this point.

Overall, I'm pretty frustrated with my experience with Experteer. I wish that cancelling my membership was a bit easier, and I really wish that the company would be more responsive to their customers. It's not a great feeling to feel like you're being ignored, especially when you're trying to resolve an issue like this. I'm not sure if I would recommend this service to others based on my experience so far.

Experteer Experteer Review: A Complete Rip-Off and Total Scam - Save Your Money!

I was really excited to try out Experteer and see if it could help me land a high-paying job. I mean, I have three Masters degrees and 30 years of experience, so I figured I was a shoe-in for some of the positions they had listed. I signed up for their service and paid for either one or two years (I can't remember exactly how long it was).

I spent a lot of time applying for jobs through their platform, and I made sure to only apply for positions that I was 100% qualified for. But here's the thing: I never heard back from any of the companies I applied to. Not even a simple "thank you for applying" email. It was like my applications were just disappearing into a black hole.

I started to get really frustrated with the whole thing. I mean, I had paid for this service and I wasn't getting any results. I tried to contact their customer service team to see if they could help me figure out what was going on, but I never got a response.

To make matters worse, I was getting bombarded with emails from Experteer. I must have unsubscribed from their mailing list at least eight times, but the emails just kept coming. It was like they didn't care about my preferences at all.

Honestly, I feel like I got scammed by this company. They promised to help me find a great job, but all they did was take my money and waste my time. I'm so frustrated with the whole experience that I'm considering taking legal action against them.

In conclusion, I would not recommend Experteer to anyone. They are a complete rip-off and a total scam. Save your money and look for job opportunities elsewhere.

Experteer Disappointing Experience with Experteer: Buyer Beware

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience on Experteer. I mean, I read some reviews before signing up and they were all like "oh, this site is so great for finding high-paying executive jobs and getting noticed by recruiters." But honestly, I didn't see any of that.

I was on there for three months and didn't come across any exclusive executive positions that weren't already posted on other sites. And as for getting noticed by recruiters, forget about it. I didn't get any visibility at all.

And to top it all off, I totally forgot about the subscription cost and got hit with a renewal fee. When I asked to have it removed, they said no way. Not exactly what I would call executive level professionalism.

Honestly, I don't think this site adds any value to my career search compared to other sites that don't charge fees. So if you're thinking about signing up, I'd say buyer beware.

Experteer Experteer Review: Legitimate Mobbing of Customers - Automatic Recharging and Unwanted Subscription Renewals

Experteer is a company that is "legal", and they are legitimately mobbing the customers. I have paid a one-year subscription, and seen that there are far more better job sites, completely free... These guys are sending "legit", "elegant" professional emails about how who have to pay another yearly subscription - that I have not ordered.

They are recharging automatically. I can see that other peoples have problems with them also. This a clear violence against customers act, and I wonder what is the police doing?! This is mobbing of the worst kind, I mean there is a policy on internet - if you don't want to buy something - how they can have the right to send you "legit" mails?

I have to say, I was really disappointed with my experience with Experteer. I thought that I was going to be getting a great service, but instead I ended up feeling like I had been taken advantage of. I paid for a one-year subscription, but I quickly realized that there were much better job sites out there that were completely free.

What really bothered me, though, was the fact that Experteer kept sending me emails about how I needed to renew my subscription - even though I had never ordered another year. And to make matters worse, they were automatically recharging my account without my permission.

I know that I'm not the only one who has had problems with Experteer. I've seen plenty of other people online who have had similar issues. It's really frustrating to feel like you're being taken advantage of by a company that is supposed to be helping you find a job.

Honestly, I think that what Experteer is doing is a clear act of violence against their customers. It's not right for them to keep charging people without their permission, and it's not right for them to keep sending out these "legit" emails that are really just trying to get people to spend more money.

I really hope that something is done about this. It's not fair for people to be treated this way, and it's not fair for companies like Experteer to get away with it. I just wish that the police would do something to stop this kind of mobbing from happening.

Experteer Stay Away from This Job Search Service: A Complete Waste of Time and Money

This "service" is not worth your time or money. While it may work better in Europe, it is a complete waste of time here in the states. I was desperate for a job and decided to give it a try despite the negative reviews. I regret that decision now.

The worst part is that they automatically sign you up for auto-renewal without any warning. Many companies do this, but legitimate ones will at least send you an invoice or reminder before charging you again. Not these guys. They just charge your card without any notice, leaving you with no chance to get your money back.

I would recommend saving your money and putting it towards a legitimate job search effort. Don't make the same mistake I did by not paying attention to the fine print and cancelling immediately when I realized how terrible the service really is. It's a shame that they operate in such a dishonest way.

Experteer Beware of Experteer Premium Scam Emails: My Experience and Review

Hey there, just wanted to share my experience with Experteer. So, I was going about my day when I received an email from what appeared to be Experteer Premium, asking me to verify my payment details as my payment was not successful. Now, I don't remember ever doing business with this company, but the email looked pretty legit. However, my Bank of America fraud department suspected a fraudulent charge on my credit card, so I got suspicious.

I did a quick search and found out that there have been similar scams going around, so I decided to email Experteer and ask them to take me off their email list if this message actually came from them. I'm not sure if it did or not, but I don't want to take any chances. I attached a picture of the email I received, so you can see for yourself.

Overall, I'm not too impressed with Experteer. I mean, if they're sending out scam emails, then that's a pretty big red flag. I'm definitely going to unsubscribe from them and warn others to be careful as well. It's a shame, really, because I was actually considering using their services. But now, I don't think I can trust them.

Experteer Premium membership renewal

I purchased one year subscription for Experteer website and I expected a renewal advice before the end of the subscription (like many does).

Unluckily I got a charge message on the credit card from Experteer for the next year renewal.

I tried to talk with them literally hours after the payment to ask for a refund since it was a mistake, and since I don't need the service anymore, but I have got a refusal message like "what has been done is done".

Very profit wise.

Stay away from Experteer.

Experteer Job search

I signed up for their job search aid about a year ago and never use. Not once did I receive a proactive notice or email from Experteer. After a year I am surprised to see an auto renewal fee. I tried to cancel my membership online which you cannot do. I contacted customer service and someone did respond stating in T&C you must cancel in advance prior to expiration. Well, that's pretty hard when Experteer is not sending udpates for a job, sending updates that membership will expire. Additionally, they were able to charge a credit card that was not even on file. I had cancelled the previous credit card number provided due to fraud. Experteer informed me that require payment and will cancel membership the following year. Sorry, this is not going to happen, LinkedIN is completely free and sends you daily if not weekly legitimate job postings that meet your profile.

I am gone back in forth in good faith telling Experteer to cancel my subscription and that I will not pay for a renewal. I have finally become frustrated with predatory customer service practices that I have started to write comments and reviews on Experteer so that other potential job searching candidates do not become disenchated.

Desired outcome: I would like to be reimbursed for every month I requested this subscription be canceled

Desired outcome: Desired outcome: to stop renewal membership and apply full 1 year credit. Cancel invoice and a letter of apology and/or even a letter stating how the will improve website to make it easy to cancel membership.

Experteer Impossible to Cancel the premium membership subscription

I have been trying to cancel my premium membership subscription. The instructions are inadequate miss leading you to a none-existing cancellation option. I have failed a complaint on Friday and today it is end of day Tuesday and I have not received a solution. Just an acknowledgement email. It is very disappointing.

Desired outcome: Cancellation and €99 refund (my subscription was renewed automatically 15 days ago)

Experteer Premium membership

I signed up with Experteer in 2019, paid the recurring fee, filled out my information... then nothing really happened. To be fair, an opportunity came up and I didn't really need their services. Still, I got a few automated emails, but none of the offers or newsletters was really enticing.

Then I forgot about them. Until my subscription was renewed.

There's no warning that your subscription is coming up. As long as your credit card is still valid, they will deduct your subscription fee.

I'd tell myself "Well, I'll stay on another 6 months, let's see, maybe it will be useful."
Spoilter alert: It's not.

So last week again, I get the "thanks for your renewal" notice and curse myself that I have forgotten about it again. I cancel my subscription immediately (a few hours after it was renewed) and send their support an email asking if they'll issue a refund.

Their response is (in oh-so-many-words): No.

Eight minutes later, I reply: Since I've canceled the service a few hours after renewing - would you consider issuing a refund after all?
No response.

Later they respond that they won't issue a refund due to negative feedback I gave.

Desired outcome: Full Refund

Experteer 3 month subscription to Experteer is a scam

Not a single email from them since signing up online as a premium member. I contacted the support team to cancel my membership 1 month before the auto renewal deadline. Experteer continues to charge me $104.85 and it has three times. I have been contacting the support team repeatedly with no response.
I went to cancel online, and there is no Online Cancellation. This is 100% illegal.

Desired outcome: Refund of USD104.85
