I have been a loyal client of Erie insurance over 10 years. First in 2021 i was rearended they totaled out my car, but they lowballed me with several excuses why. I did not accept the first offer as i would still have a car note. Mind you I have full covered, comprehensive insurance, uninsured and under insured coverages. The purpose in having all the coverage is to able to afford another vehicle or decent downpayment for one. They refuse to give me a decent settlement offer after the opposing company didn't want to pay for my injuries.
Flash for June 2025, someone else hits me again, the total damage estimates re between 3,400 and 5,000. So, KASEY the claims adjuster decides my car should be totaled out, what's sad is the offer is JUST outside of the cost to COMPLETELY repair the damage. on top of that they subtract my $500 deductible this man offers me less than $3,500. He was rude so I got rude and told him I refuse to accept this offer, so he sends it over to the final settlement people anyway. now I have a lady telling me WHAT I HAVE TO ACCEPT! Mind you these people cover my home car and rental insurance.
Recommendation: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR INSURANCE NEEDS THEY ONLY CARE SBOUT THE LAWYERS THEY KEEP ON CALL
someone hit me, the adjuster came out looked at my car and then after receiving the estimate, he then sets the buyout price just a few hundred dollars less than the repair cost. The man was Short, and Rude which caused me to react the same way. I told him I refuse his offer and hung up he then sent the finalization paperwork to some other woman who told me more or less I have to accept the offer.
