Torturous experience

Torturous experience! I felt like Hitler resurfaced to torture yet another victim! Allianz insured Hitler's death camps FY! I had an annuity with them and they annuitized w/o my consent as their correspondence and checks went to my old address and weren't received nor cashed! Horrific customer service and then finally got somebody in US and they apologized and on a recorded line said it will be reversed and put back into contract! Au contraire, more lies! However I had to sign a release that I received checks which I never cashed in order to get my contract reinstated and now will be getting a 1099 and have a fraudulent tax liability! I reported them for insurance fraud! You'd have to be crazy to deal with such a despicable company! Go somewhere better please be safe not sorry!...

I mean, come on, people! Allianz Life Insurance is the real deal! They've got your back when it comes to protecting your loved ones and your assets. I've had a policy with them for years and I can honestly say that they've never let me down.

Their website, allianzlife.com, is easy to navigate and has all the information you need to make an informed decision about your insurance needs. Plus, their customer service is top-notch. Whenever I've had a question or concern, they've been quick to respond and always helpful.

This company is not good at all. We got a long term care policy a long time ago, back in 1999 when we were still in our early 40s. We thought we were making a good decision by getting it early. But then, just a few months after we bought it, they stopped selling long term care insurance. And now, after all these years of paying our annual amounts, they just sent us a letter saying they're going to raise our rates by 300%. That's not fair at all. They're only supposed to raise rates if it's across the board, for everyone. But we were in our early 40s back then, so how many other policies do they really have that are like ours? It seems like they just took our money for years and now they want to cancel our policy by raising the rates so much. That's not ethical at all. They're dishonest and liars. Don't trust this company, they're completely horrible.

I recently had an experience with Allianz Life Insurance that left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. I had signed up for a 10 year contract for my IRA with the company, and their salesperson had convinced me to select a product called Infinidex 10 by promising bonuses for signing up. However, I soon realized that the contract language was confusing and difficult to understand, and the agent's explanation had been misleading.

Despite fulfilling the terms of the contract, I found out that the promised bonus would be forfeited if I wanted to leave before the end of my life. This was a shock to me, as I had expected to receive the bonus regardless of when I decided to leave the contract. It seemed that Allianz was operating just within legal boundaries, but not in a way that was fair to the average person.

I was disappointed that my hard-earned money had been used as Allianz's assets for a decade, but I had little to show for it. The company had won, and I had lost. It was a sad experience, and I hope that others can learn from my mistake and be cautious when dealing with Allianz Life Insurance.

I gotta say, I didn't use Allianz Life Insurance for life insurance, but for insurance on tickets to a ballet. I booked tickets through ticket-center to see the Nutcracker in December 2017. I bought insurance on the tickets in case I couldn't make it due to weather or a work situation (because it was our busiest season). But, two weeks before the ballet, a work situation did happen and I reached out to ticket-center first. They told me to contact Allianz for a refund since it would be covered through them. When I contacted Allianz, they said that I couldn't get a refund unless my workplace was on fire or something or a death. Weather, work, travel, etc is NOT covered at all. Why would I spend an extra 100 to ensure that I would be taken care of if nothing is actually covered? I felt scammed, but in the end, I made it work so that I could go because there was no way I was losing out on 500 + dollars. However, if I ever use ticket-center or master or any of those ticket sites, I will never again purchase the insurance, as it is a waste of money and time.

I mean, come on Allianz, what's the point of offering insurance if it doesn't cover anything? I was really disappointed with the service I received. It's not like I was trying to scam them or anything, I genuinely had a work situation that prevented me from attending the ballet. I understand that there are certain circumstances that are out of their control, but this just seems like a cop-out.

I will say that the process of purchasing the insurance was easy enough. I didn't have any issues with that. But, when it came time to actually use the insurance, that's when things went downhill. I had to jump through so many hoops just to get a straight answer from Allianz. It was frustrating and time-consuming.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend Allianz Life Insurance based on my experience. If you're looking for insurance for tickets to an event, I would suggest looking elsewhere. It's just not worth the hassle.

I've been with Allianz Life Insurance for several years now and I have to say, my experience has been less than satisfactory. I opened an annuity with them a while back and recently wanted to add more money to it. However, the representative ended up opening another annuity instead. At first, I thought it wasn't a big deal and decided to let it go. But when I tried to reach my representative about it, I couldn't get ahold of her for several weeks. By the time she did get back with me, I had already done my own research and figured out what I needed.

I retired a few months ago and decided to surrender the smaller annuity. I went to the Allianz website and filled out all the paperwork I could find. I mailed it in and waited for a response. Three weeks later, I received a letter in the mail stating that I missed a page and needed to fill it out. I filled out the paperwork again and uploaded it to their server. A couple of weeks went by and I still hadn't heard anything, so I decided to call them. They told me that they were having a hard time reading my documents and needed to verify that I was the person requesting the surrender. I told them that I was and they said it would take 7-10 business days for the direct deposit.

Two more weeks went by and I still hadn't received the deposit. I called Allianz again and they told me that the 7-10 days was just for processing and that the deposit would come after that. Another week went by and still no deposit. I called them again and they said they would make it a rush and top priority.

Every time I called, I spoke with someone who was obviously from India. It seems like they're outsourcing their customer service. I think that's what caused the delay. The outsourcing has to be turned over to the actual company, which takes more time.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend opening any accounts with Allianz Life Insurance. They try to keep your money and won't let you have it. It's been a frustrating experience and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same thing.
