I have 3 workforce printers which I have had for 4yrs and have stopped using EPSON ink due to the outrageous cost.

I have been using a third party ink for the past year with success. lately, however, every time I get a firmware update, it stops me from using that ink. my printer worked fine yesterday, and today it's not recognizing my ink?

I'm aware of the recent lawsuit regarding this issue and may need to contact my lawyer to see what can be done.

These are my printers that I have bought outright and you have no right to dictate to me what ink I use. or worse block me from using third party ink.

please advise how I can override this blockage as I need these printers for my business. I have tried calling, but that was a terrible experience. your customer service has been no help what-so-ever.

I sensed that they had sympathy for my issue, but they obviously have been well trained on this issue

Desired outcome: Either refund my the cost for these printers or remove the third party ink use blockage.
