As a working mom, finding the time to prepare healthy and tasty meals can be a challenge. That's why I turned to Epicured, and I must say, I am thrilled with the experience. The meals provided by Epicured are not only super delicious but also incredibly nutritious. My daughters and I have been enjoying a variety of chef-crafted dishes that have made our evenings stress-free and enjoyable. Knowing that I can rely on Epicured for quality meals has been a game-changer for our family. I highly recommend Epicured to anyone looking for convenient, healthy, and mouthwatering meal options.

let's start with the fact that delivery is $50. And there is no minimum order. So I made an error online one time that sent me one tiny package of a breakfast bar in a huge box. The item was $10 and the dleivery fee was $50 becuase it's a subscription service. The website is impossible to navigate. It's not intuitive and despite my 20 years of working in technology I accidentally set up 3 different subscriptions for myself that delivered on teh same day of the same week. They charged me $50 per box for delivery + the cost of the food. When I asked customer service how this happened, they said the new subscritpions opened whne I went into my current subscription and selected "edit". Um, what?! Why would "edit" create not only 1 additonal subscription for a user, but 2 additional? Anyway, if you have money to burn and additonal time to try to figure out what you're ordering on which week - go for it. But otherwise, don't waste your time and money.

This here company, let me tell ya, they straight up took my money without even askin'. They went ahead and auto-subscribed me before I even had a chance to try out their product. Who in their right mind would sign up for a service they ain't never even tried? It's a real shame, 'cause their product is just plain awful, and don't even get me started on their customer service. Trust me, folks, stay far, far away from these folks.

Watch out! When you place an order on Epicured, you gotta be careful 'cause they sneakily hide some important info in their terms & conditions. You won't see it clearly at checkout unless you click on a link and read the whole shebang. Turns out, by ordering, you're actually signing up for a subscription. I had no clue they were gonna schedule weekly orders for me until I happened to log in and check on my order's status.

But that's not all, folks! One of the meals in my order arrived all messed up. The way they packed it was a disaster, and their packaging materials were just plain cheap. The plastic tray was busted, and the food was exposed and definitely not safe to eat. You'd think they'd happily refund me the $14.96 for the ruined fruit tray, right?

Well, think again! Customer service just points you to their NO REFUND policy, which they claim is on their website. (But let me tell ya, it ain't clear as day at checkout, and I've never seen a company twist a NO REFUND policy to cover their own negligence and shoddy packaging, even among other meal services.)

All they offer is store credit, which, surprise surprise, ropes you into another subscription. Now I gotta go through the hassle of filing a complaint with BBB just to try and get a refund for that $15 fruit tray that could've made me sick. It's really disheartening to see a company that can't be bothered to run things ethically.

Beware -- when you order, hidden in the terms & conditions (not clear at check-out unless you click out a link and read the full terms & conditions), you are signing up for a subscription. I didn't realize they had scheduled weekly orders for me until I happened to log in and check on the status of my order.

Second, one of the meals in my order arrived damaged. Due to the way they packed it and the poor quality of their packaging materials, the plastic tray was broken and the food was opened and not safe to eat. Surely they would be happy to refund the broken fruit tray at $14.96!

Instead, customer service refers you to a NO REFUND policy, which they refer to as on the website. (Again, not clear at check out, and I've never seen a company interpret a NO REFUND policy to apply to something that is damaged due to their own negligence and poor packaging, including other meal services.)

They only offer store credit, which (surprise!) gets you signed up for another subscription. I'm having to submit through BBB to try to get a refund for the $15 fruit tray that was unsafe to eat. Really disappointing that they can't be bothered to run this company ethically.
