There is not a company is more aggressive than Enmax. While renovating a home a payment was missed. First payment ever missed which was to be caught up with the next payment but 15 days after the missed payment Enmax was at the the home to cut services to the property. Then when a partial payment was made (the majority of the bill paid) Enmax cut services because of small balance outstanding. The new major, unlike her predecessor is unreachable and does not care or respond to Calgarians. Enmax's aggressive policies is due to having a mayor who is allowing Calgarians to lose utility services during a time when people are struggling to put food in their mouths and a roof over their head. If the mayor cared or acted in the interest of Calgarians, her office would address Enmax's aggressive business practices not tell people to apply for Alberta Works, which had nothing to do with the conduct of Enmax. People nationally and internationally need to be made aware of the horrendous mayor and business practices (and excessive costs) with Enmax so they know what they will face if they come to Calgary so they can make an informed decision about moving to the dysfunction and a city where the mayor is obviously in power just for her pay cheque, not for the citizens.

Desired outcome: long overdue for the mayor and city counsellors to work for the public and deal with Enmax's unscrupulous, aggressive business practices

Yup, they threatened to cut off my service as well when I first joined them. When starting with Enmax 25 years ago I provided pre-authorization for my payments. They failed to take them out for 4 months! Today with budget billing they did a settle up for January payment, failed to take out the full budget billing amount in February, and now want me to pay the budget billing amount plus the balance of the amount they failed to take out at the end of January. The amount for March required is about 180% more than the budget billing amount they advised would be deducted on my bill in their "important notice" section!
