This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

I had Enercare install a new furnace, water heater and air conditioner, I unfortunately made the mistake of leasing the items vs. purchasing them at the time of installation. Last year I retired from work and had to do some refinancing at my bank only to find out that Enercare along with Enbridge had unknowingly slapped a $24, 000.00 lien against my home which resulted in me not getting the loan I was requesting.

The sales rep that leased me this equipment failed to divulge any lein information to me at the time of signing the lease otherwise I would have purchased the equipment outright as I was still working at the time. This to me is a highly unprofessional and deceitful tactic not disclosing all pertinent information it is like the high pressured sales furnace sales reps that used to knock on your door and pressure you into buying. Now I am told they want approximately $9, 000.00 to buy this out that I don't have as I am no longer working.

I have tried to contact Jenine Krause and Victoria Tan but I don't have their e-mail address so had to send the e-mail to their Media relations web site and have yet to receive a response. These people should be disgusted with themselves how they treat people!

Desired outcome: I would like a more reasonable buy out than $9,000.00 and for them to consider depreciation on the equipment when evaluating the buyout cost.
