I have Heating Protection Plan with Enercare and in according to a guide furnace parts covered by plan is blower/blower components. My furnace stopped working on Nov 26th, 2020 and I placed Service call. Technician came Receipt# [protected]-1, and claim that he cannot change Blower and that I have to buy a new furnace for which he gladly supplied Enercare business card.

Since this was a breach of contract I called customer service and told person that I want to cancel Heating Plan (call#[protected]). He advised me that I cannot cancel plan only 30 days before end of contract. What kind of business is this - doesn't want to fix problem but wants to keep charging customer?

My furnace broke down on Friday night Feb 13/2021 - I called Enercare as i have a heating plan - The service guy came on Saturday and change a part in the furnace - a few hours later the same problem happened. He came back on Sunday saying that he had to change the blower (which he should have know right away) and came back with a new one but apparently it was a defective one and he could not fix it - He said that he ordered the part (put a rush on it) since Monday was a holiday he could not get the part .
He provided me with a phone # to contact the following day to see when i could get the furnace fixed. I have called so many times already and no one answers the phone - I am 73 years old and have been freezing for 5 days in my own house and how many more days to i have to wait to get it fixed - I am so upset. don't knw who to call anymore
