To whom it may concern,
Last year I change my job and it so happen that I have a personal loan from emirates nbd bank.. The bank told me to transfer my salary because that was the bank policy if you have a personal loan from them, my new company was not able to transfer my salary to my emirates nbd account because they are exclusive to another bank, so I dont have the choice and cannot force my company to do exactly what nbd told me, that time they freeze my account and my final settlement from my previuos company, so they told me that my money will not be release unless I can provide them a guarrantor that also have account with them. After a while my friend of mine give me a favor and he guarrantee me to unfreez my account.. Then we went to deira at al nazzer branch at emirates nbd collecton department, we submitted the necessary documents they needed from my side and from my guarrantors side.. We sign the necessary agreement from emirates nbd that my guarantor are willing to pay monthly the remaining balance of my loan.. He issue 1 blank cheque payee for emirates nbd.. Then this certain shamir who gave us the form of agreement and he is the one who took all our documents told us that my papers will be on process and they will call me after 3 days and my money in my account will be release.. Before we left that collection department I ask him if we can ask for a photo copy of that document but he refuse to give me because its not allowed to give the copy.. So after that I am happy because it will be settle soon and need to wait for 3 days to clear everything.. From that they so many different people are calling me from collection department and asking me to pay, I told them what happen toi my final settlement in my account, and I found out that since october last year even my account was on freeze they took all my money and they put it in account that never exist.. They insisting me that I hve 2 credit card from emirates ndb and I need to pay... I was surprise to hear that from them, I decided to go and check from the branch, they deducting 2 x a month from my account different amounth to different card number, it is very clear that they are cheating me, so I decided to go back to the collection department and to confirm and check what is going own with my money and to the documents I submitted, I search for shameer but he was not there a certain reem talk to me and she told me she dont know about it, and she told me the card number that appear in my statement was mine.. How come it happen I told her, but she cannot say anything and she told me to come back again I shammer was there. From that department I went to sharja branch because I was searching for somebody that I can talk with who have good heart. I met 1 filipina and she help me, they check for my account and they did not allow me to talk to the collection department they told me if I will complain they will put me in jail.. For what reason? It only shows that they are thift!!! And aside from that they told me that the documents I submitted was never process because they said that the documents was not complete.. How come that things happen?!!! Monthly they are deducting my monthly payment from my guarantors account, and at the same time they are saying that I never pay?!!! And the worst thing is there is always a rude collection officer who keep oin calling me and telling me to submit the documents again and she keep on blackmailing and telling me they will put me in jail... I have all the necessary evidence that it shows in my guarantors account the deduction for my personal loan, and how come they are no link between our account, it is easy for them to take theirs customer money from our account, what kind of bank is this? It is very clear that emirates nbd is a thift!!! As big thift and cheater... All the staff and call center agent are all useless and cheater.. How dare you all to treat us that we are like criminal eventhough we are the customers that are providing them their salary!! They dont even know that I have only 1 credit card from them that they took all my money from my account and when I talk to them and ask them why, they told me that they send the replacement of my card but I did not receive that even thoough the expiration of my card is up to 2013.. Is that the bank policy? To change the card eventhough it is not exipred... To the concerned people please do something!!! In my entire carrer here in uae emirates nbs is the worst bank ever,

    I agree, Emirates NBD is simply the worst bank i have ever used. I open an account and request a debit card and credit card, They issue me a debit card assigned to a female account and i an unable to use online banking because i am a male I get passed to many people that are suppose to fix the problem and 3 weeks later i finally have the correct car. It took them 2 and 1/2 months to issue the credit card because some lazy person that really don't care about doing his job calls my employer 2 times and both times it was busy so they just decided not to call anymore. Applied for a personal loan that they advertise takes 2 days and 2 weeks later i am still waiting. Is it safe to trust them with your money when failure is an exceptable excuse for any reason something is not completed in an acceptable time. I don't understand how they stay in business, Am I an exception to the rule or does this happen to alot of people?

    The Credit card sales person took all the necessary details/documents even my signed security check, but now not responding to my call...its been more than 1 month ..i didnt receive the card nor any reason ...so people plz be careful while dealing with sales guy name Mr Murtaza (055-1097823) from Emirates Bank ...

    Worst bank, I would never recommend dealing with ENBD, My credit Card was stolen and no follow up from the bank even after several calls I manage to solve my issue, they want me to wait 60 to 90 Days till they do their investigation, I might die till that time, they have very bad customer service
    *Untrustable bank, I have the same card since 4 years, after what happen to me, I was informed that the card is also old and that the bank should contact me to change for the new ship wich is safer but no one did unfortunately
    *Unsecured, I am not obliged to pay settlement I did not spend. they are asking me to pay at least the minimum due amount that is so funny. that should refund the money and then do as much as they want of investigation, it is not my problem.
    *funniest thing which is a shame, I am still getting calls offering me cash on credit and other offers while I already stopped my credit card and debit card as I am working to close my whole accounts with and go with a better trustable bank

    Emirates NBD worst Bank existed as their team is not professional they just chase you to get Credit Cards with no proper information. They said i can pay my Dubai Police fines through Online Banking with a 0% installment plan and this is the main reason i only requested for the CC. but after doing so they said oh no it cant happen because you didnt pay in the Dubai Police website itself and you paid it through online banking! ###! they are very unprofessional and as an advise never ever take CC from ENBD

    I would agree with the opinion here that they are the worst bank in UAE..

    They don't care and they even try to understand what the problem is..
    Their help desk email is a joke as you will never get any reply to your specific
    questions.. Astonishing - people getting paid to send this lame copy paste answer..

    You have to call many times and tell your story to new people every time..
    Frustrating and time consuming..

    It took them 2 months for someone to call me and she would not understand what the issue
    was..

    Finally I decided to cancel the credit card even without resolution because I was so fed up
    of their pathetic procedures and customer service..

    Avoid them at any cost..

    I have applied for a credit on 6th July and till I didn't receive it and every time I call I get different answers and I have raised my complaint on twitter so far nothing happened they still checking " I don't know what"

    Hello dear, I am facing problem with Emirates NBD credit card. There is around AED3000 dispute in remaining outstanding. I am leaving UAE with final exit. I want to clear the outstanding but the Bank shall resolve the dispute in outstanding payment.
    I am following with bank by phone and physical visit but they could not answer my question. Even today I discussed with agent via EVA and calculated the outstanding month by month but he could not answer the disputed amount.

    Please support me and resolve the dispute.

    Agreed. Worst bank ever! I have been a client for 7 years and they blocked my current account apparently due to a suspicious transaction that was trying to be made using my account. Called customer service hotline, no one can assist me despite calling more than 10 times with a minimum average call waiting time of 10 minutes per phone call. Went to the branch which is supposed to be available and open to assist customers till 9 pm. reached 3 hours before 9 pm and i was given the advice that no one can assist me and my bank account is being closed soon. No formal advice regarding the account closing. I had to withdraw my entire balance over the counter since they are apparently closing my bank account due to various confusing reasons that no one can explain further This bank is extremely unprofessional. When any bank closes someone's account you should have some shame to advise your customer for so many years that an issue is there and the account should be closed. People who works here lack process guidelines and proper basic decorum. Moved to another bank now and I am so freaking relieved that I am already out of this worst and most self centered bank ever. Wasted my 7 years repeatedly calling their customer service hotline who makes anyone wait for more than 10 minutes on hold just to talk to someone who doesnt know anything right to advise their customers, receiving very delayed text messages for transactions which you have made (a debit card transaction text message will reach you after 5 hours of making it, imagine?) and the most useless bank employees ever.

    Doesn't look like there is any management watching over their staff. Employees are giving empty promises to customer without follow-up. Awful, their support is 1 out of 5

    I agree, NBD bank is the worst bank I ever seen and most of the staff are rude and ignorant.
    They don not care what their customer think about them they just look for some excuse to
    Steal their money.
