I contacted ELLE SILK within 4 days of delivery, following their return and exchange policy exactly because the duvet cover I received did not match their listed specifications. Instead of processing my return, they tried to upsell me on a custom product. My attempts at resolution with them lasted 3 months. Only then, after I filed a dispute with American Express did they change their position, suddenly claiming the product was “used” and unreturnable because the package had been opened. How can a customer know an item is defective without opening the package? They also submitted falsified information, including modifying my emails, to AMEX — twice — leading to the charge being reinstated and requiring me to spend hours resubmitting screenshots and emails. ELLE SILK is unethical, manipulative, and has zero regard for customer satisfaction. Avoid this company at all costs.
Recommendation: Spend a bit more to buy a product from a truly reputable company.
