Unit stopped working in 10 months from purchase10.10.2025. The unit started making noise in July 2026. August 3 2026 the unit's compressor and Evap fan stopped working altogether. It took 7 days for a tech to visit and determine the problem (Ref#[protected]) and order replacement parts. The parts arrived 8.24.26 - Dead unit for 3+ wks. Customer is 88yr/96yrs old requiring refrigeration of food and health items. We asked for replacement or refund when the Svc rep said it would take many days for the parts to arrive if the Tech determined it was a system failure. The Philippine Service agents insist they cannot refund. For health reasons we could not wait for the repair and bought a new unit. There is more tale of Woe but space is limited. It's worth mentioning how frustrating it was dealing with the service agents as they appeared to be lying or severely naive.
Claimed loss: $2,340 for loss of food, purchase of ice and coolers, + the replacement cost of the non-function unit needed in a timely manner. Pain and Suffering for the two elderly people $2,500.
Desired outcome: Refund of the original unit and loss food + health care items.
