East West Bank (United States) review: Accrued interest of Bayanihan 1 & 2 and Special Payment Holiday Program (SPHP)

I was charged and have to settle the accrued interests of my auto loan due to Bayanihan acts 1 & 2, and Special Payment Holiday Program (SPHP). The original date of my loan was on June 22, 2022 but it was moved to September 29, 2023 and the months worth interests from programs that I never availed of. I never received any communications from them to avail the BA1, BA2 and SPHP programs. I communicated to the agent thru calls and messenger sometime in July and August 2023 for the settlement of my account and he told me to go to the East West Office in Mandaluyong to make a settlement with his area supervisor. Due to my health reasons and more papers works to do in the office, I go to their office on September 18, 2023. I surprised when I saw the total the amount which included the accrued interest amounting 45,733.41 for SPHP which is almost 4x my monthly amortization due to the said programs. Plus the BA1-13,720.02 and BA2-9,146.68. I appealed to the area coordinator to lessen these charges or I paid half of the total amount. I did not opt in such programs but he said that it is already consummated and they are valid charges.
