I was registered with e harmony dating service for 12 months from 14/2/14 to 14/2/15 at a cost of $249.00 for a 12 month subscription. This year I did not give them authorisation to take out another yearly subscription. In their fine print, it states that there was supposed to be communication from them to me, before they took the money off my visa card. This did not happen. If they had have made contact via e-mail I would have un-subcscribed from their service as this would have alerted me to the fact that my year was coming to an end and that I no longer wish to subscribe for a further 12 months. I have contacted e harmony via phone in Australia to no avail. They will not take responsibility for their actions, they will not refund the money that they stole off me. They do not want to know about it at all. I would appreciate some advice of the above manner.

Speak with your credit card issuer- if you have proof they were to contact you before renewing and they did not, visa may be able to dispute and argue that they did not abide by their terms and conditions, try with your credit card issuer
