Awaiting response regarding return of Dyson airwrap that was mailed to Dyson on 1/2026 because it would not stay running. X mas gift for my daughter that has never worked once. No replies after multiple attempts. I have provided tracking info and no one seems to want to help. I hear that they will get back to me in 1-2 days and receive no word.
I purchased a dyson airwrap online from Dyson for my daughter for Christmas. It was ordered Dec. 1st and I paid 500 dollars for the airwrap. I gave it to her for Christmas and when she tried it, it did not work properly. It was shutting off right away. We immediately reached out online and tried all of the suggestions on the website. When nothing resolved it, we then reached out to the returns dept. They video visited with us and saw what was happening. We had to wait but finally received approval to send it back for new one. I mailed it back via UPS on Feb 1st. I have never heard a word from them since. I waited almost a month and finally reached out via their chat (Feb 28th) and they asked me for the tracking info and told me they would get back to me in 1-3 business days. I never heard anything back and then reached I called on March 2nd and received the same response. I then reached out via facebook messenger to their site on March 3rd. I was told again I would hear back from them in 1-3 days. I heard nothing. I reached out again today and was asked to provide all the same information a 3rd time and was told they would reach out in 1-3 days. The customer rep said they couldn't see where the airwrap was although I have proof they received it Feb. 3rd. I have all of the tracking information. I am so upset that my daughter's 500 gift is a complete waste. They mentioned when I spoke with them the first time that I would possibly get a refurbished airwrap back. I am absolutely not going to pay 500 dollars for a refurbished gift. At this point, I will never deal with company again that cannot even reach out to me and resolve what is going and on and why no one cares so little to even respond to me. My daughter is so disappointed and frankly I cannot believe a company can get away with this type of customer service. I have done everything asked of us in a timely manner and have provided information multiple times to receive vague replies and no follow up.
