LLC for any roofing needs
LLC for any roofing needs. They were super professional and got the job done right. The only thing that was a bit of a bummer was the price, but I guess you get what you pay for. Overall, we're really happy with the work they did and would definitely use them again in the future.

I signed a contract with Duval Roofing LLC on 9/28 to get my roof stripped and re-roofed. I paid them a deposit of 2,000 dollars, which they cashed on 10/13. I've been calling them every two weeks to find out when they'll replace my roof, but all they tell me is that my house is on the list. I've told them about the ice damage I had last winter, but they haven't called me back in three weeks.
Duvall put in a new roof for me last year
Duvall put in a new roof for me last year. They didn't put back my heat cables, saying I wouldn't need them. But after some snow last winter, water was getting stuck in my gutter. The roof was put in on November 24. I called them on October 27, 2022, to ask for the heat cables to be put back. *** from Duvall asked when the roof was put in. I told her and she said they'd come out in a few weeks to do it. I've been calling for a few months now, but no one's getting back to me.
Defective shingles
In 11/11 I had a roof installed by Duval Roofing. In the spring of 2012 i noticed some of the shingles lifting I contacted Duval Roofing and the next day Ken the owner came out. A week later the rep. for the shingle manufacturer came out and met with Ken at his request. Less than a week later, they installed a new roof with a higher -end shingle with an extended warranty. At no extra cost or burden to me!

Poor quality work, poor service
I purchased a new roof from Duval Roofing in 2005. Four years later, my roof leaks when it rains. They came out once and reported that the problem was a nail that rusted through a shingle. So, what kind of roofing nails rust after four years? And why are there exposed nails on my roof? They will not return my calls. The secretary is the owners wife, so you cannot reach anyone in the company. I've now filed a BBB complaint. I've since heard a lot of bad stories of their work from other local residents, so was shocked to see an A+ BBB rating. If you had a bad experience, tell others! Save many others the time and money.
They also were recently fined for unsafe work practices. $79K fine from OSHA. That's no small fine. Don't know the outcome--paid or reduced. Story is here

I have never heard anything bad about Duval Roofing. After all north Reading is a small town and I have lived here my whole life . I found dealing with Ken a very professional experience. It takes only 1 bad apple to damage a person's well earned reputation
This was a bogus complaint. Aftre 4 years the leak was caused by the chimney mortar. The Better Buisness Burea affimed this. The OSHA fines were fines given to staging defults and have nothing to do with workmanship.This woman obviosly has bigger issues then a leak from her chimney.
