DAMAGED CAR!

I just picked my car from the dealership. A part of that was an inspection where I and the salesman walk around looking it over. The vehicle was clean but had spots from the morning dew. I didn’t think that it would be a problem as I would take it to the car was. So I left and headed straight to Drews.

During the wash I heard a bump. My mirrors were folded in but the scrubbers pulled them out.

After the wash I found a 4” scratch on the drivers door, a scratch on the driver’s side passenger door so deep it flaked the paint, multiple scratches and a groove type dent on the drivers side rear fender. So obviously as it went through something started lightly going deeper as it went further down as if my car wasn’t straight when going through.

I asked the guy at the booth about it but he said there was nothing he could do because it was older.

I would have thought that was understandable normally…but as I was coming from the dealership and literally had the inspection and sales paperwork in the seat next to me I knew the damage came from their equipment.

Some may wonder and have fear that places like this could damage their vehicle. Well take it from me…THEY DO!

There is a place on Wellborn Rd which I believe is touchless. I highly suggest that you go there and avoid Drews unless you want your vehicle damaged. It’s not worth the coupons they send out for a free wash.

I went to Drews Car Wash #1 to get my wife's car cleaned last week, like I've done many times before. But when the car was almost done, something made a loud noise and the factory-installed roof top antenna cover fell off. I waited until the car was out of the wash to grab the broken plastic cover from the ground. I looked for a manager to talk to, but the workers said they weren't responsible for any damages to customers' cars. I've tried to get help with this issue, but Drews Car Wash won't take responsibility for any damages. I've been a loyal customer since the Exxon and car wash opened, and I can't believe they would treat me like this. No car drying happened either.
