D.R. Horton Misleading information during the initial purchasing process

I decided in March 28th 2021 that I would purchase a home from DR Horton. At that time the home was $308, 000. I was told that the process would be that you put your name on a list and within a few weeks they would call me to have me do a deposit and sign a purchase agreement. Within a few months the home would be built and I would be able to close.

That has not happened. It has been about 3 months now and the representative as Creekside, Ft Pierce has not called to make a deposit, only has news to say the price has risen within three months (May) by $15, 000. ($323, 000) Now it is July and still no word on when they are going to call you. I have wasted so much time waiting on their false, misleading promises and have missed so many other opportunities to purchase another home.

DR Horton has mislead individuals about putting them on a waiting list and it is all a lie. They are intentionally playing a waiting game and making the prices go up and to outprice minorities. That is a disgrace.

Desired outcome: Let them be truthful to you and not mislead you.

D.R. Horton Unfinished home amenities- yard and landscaping

Not much to say except- in a rush to closed- D R Horton Construction folks failed to finalize or finish our years-. The vendor was laying sod on the day before closing in a very wet time and even got his equipment stuck on the lot and never finished the sodding and yard work. Its pitiful. They never rolled the sod - its was too wet. The vendor and D R Horton Construction Man named " Chris" strongly promised he wood have them back out in a few days as soon as the land dried a little, if we would go ahead and close. I trusted his word, . I have email several D R Hortons sites that say to file -- with out any word of response. Sales office personnel will not give names or addresses or email to help us out.

Desired outcome: complete re sodding of entire lot- do their professional job I paid for it- I expect it. it.

D.R. Horton No Sod in Yard a month after moving in

Before closing I was promised there would be sod in the yard. Now 1 month after moving in there still is a yard full of sand and weeds and my ditch is leveled with sand. The excuse is to blame the weather, yet my neighbor who moved in 2 days ago, had sod placed in their yard. D.R Horton stated they "needed the sod to close the deal". So I guess that shows their priority to their existing homeowners. The weather has been beautiful here in southeast Louisiana for months. We've had a couple of thunderstorms but nothing different than any other year for this this season.

I still do not have a date when my sod will arrive.

Desired outcome: Sod in my yard asap

D.R. Horton New home

My wife and I purchased a new home from Dr Horton in late October. We have had issue after issue since purchasing this home. At the moment we have a water leak coming from the upstairs bathroom and leaking in the master closet. It has ruined the walls and carpet. We bought this home thinking that we were getting a good quality home. Nothing could be further from the truth! From uneven floors to overspray in the master tub to paint splatters on the tile and flooring all over the first floor and it goes on and on. I am so incredibly dissatisfied with this house. I do not like continually calling for warranty repairs for things that should have been done before we moved in. I have even had to repair the drawers in the kitchen. I can not in good conscious recommend Dr Horton to anyone friend or foe.

D.R. Horton Paver Driveway Orchard Park Vero Beach, Florida

My wife and I purchased a new home in Vero Beach, Florida. During our walk thru at closing we listed the laver driveway with the construction superintendent. We were assured the driveway would be fixed. After 3 superintendents and the management team in Palm Bay. Their solution is no solution to a fix. We were told it's a irrigation and soil problem and nothing can be done. Funny it's not happening at the top of the driveway or in the walkways or at the model. The problem lies when water from the rain runs under the pavers and dams up at the concrete sidewalk, rising to the top puddling and damaging the pavers. I have one question for Mr. Horton, if you were building a new home would you accept this workmanship and driveway? I think not. Kevin from the Palm Bay management team came out, was rude, talked condescending, and belittled my neighbor when she came over to address the same problem with the driveways.

Desired outcome: Solution to the drainage problem, an engineer out to find a solution and my driveway pavers replaced.

D.R. Horton Driveway brick repair

VERY UPSET HOME OWNER We have sent a request to have our driveway bricks repaired on 2 occasions. We have not heard anything on when the repair will be made. On Sunday 4/25/2021 we had cleaned the bricks, then on 4/26/2021 we added sand to the cracks/seams and then on 4/27/2021 we had sealed the driveway. We had put the containers of the sealer in front of the driveway so no one would go on the driveway bricks. We later came home and found that the driveway was torn up, sand or something to that affect spread all over the just sealed driveway. They took dirt from where are plants are in front of the house and left the big hole. They also left the sand in the street. This is very unprofessional work, leaving the home owners very angry after the hard work we did to come home and see this mess. We know this is not something that you would want done to you and your family. I can not even add the pictures of what they did when they did the [censored]y [censored] work.

Desired outcome: Come and repair/replace the brick correctly, clean up the message that was left, reimburse for our time and items purchased.

D.R. Horton Concrete work on my house

I just bought a DR Horton home and I closed on 3/19. I was told by the building superintendent that my garage floor needed to be redone because the concrete company did not pour it correctly, and I have moved into my house and I do not have my garage floor fixed, driveway, steps to front porch, and sidewalks have not been poured. I have this beautiful house that looks awful because I have a gravel driveway. I also have arthritis and a bad hip and the gravel is a huge fall risk for me. I have contacted DR Horton and they say they will escalate the issue, but I have not heard anything and the work still isn't done. I have contacted the Ohio AG's office e and my next step will be all the news channels if they do not finish my concrete work. It's as if once they get your kidney, DR Horton doesn't care about finishing.

Desired outcome: I want my concrete work finished ASAP

D.R. Horton Unfinished work on punch list from ongoing perform throughout build.

My house is 0032 in Anthem Parkside at Merrill Ranch
We have been dealing with a window in our new build. When we arrived for a walk through (March 24) there was still no stucco around the window. This had been an ongoing problem for MONTHS that they've been notified of in ample time to repair. Window was over insulated thus causing it to bow. They took it out, put a new one in and then replaced it with the old one again (but fixed to where we could open it). Stucco requires time to complete and this will not be fully done by move in tomorrow (Match 31st).

Desired outcome: I want clear concise communication on when it will fully completed and I want it done within a timely manner.

D.R. Horton Poor customer service/inflexible

In the 21st Century business concepts such as "customer-centricity" or "Voice of the Client" have become commonplace. But not so at DR Horton.

This company will not even consider minor changes to a home, even minor ones such as installing an outlet when there is no drywall in place yet. Or different toilets or flooring when neither of these are on-site yet. The time spent discussing these things were more time than some of the changes requested would take. I am not asking for anything free, am willing to pay for the changes. But they don't seem to care.

Disappointed, yes, disgusted with Horton management, absolutely, warning to future buyers, you bet.

Desired outcome: Start accomodating customers.

D.R. Horton Contractor sent to address my 11 month Warranty

Good morning,
I recently put in a request for service for my 11 month warranty.
The contractor that was sent his name was Kevin, last name unknown at 214-930-9620. I had to ask him to leave my property Wednesday 3/3/20 because he was very rude and disrespectful first over the phone and then during his visit.
During our initial conversation over the phone he was confrontational to the point I stopped him and asked him not to come if he wasn't going to listen to my concerns. He agreed to come out and take a look.
On the day of his visit he started right where he left off, with the same bad attitude and dismissive approach.
He began by talking about the irrigation hoses on the ground, something we already discussed previously over the phone and that I'd told him I'd already resolved that issue when I called Chaote irrigation to find out if the hoses should be on top of the soil or underneath. He wanted to make it a point to tell me that DR Horton wasn't going to do my landscaping for me.

I asked him to move on and I pointed out the cracks and stone work falling off my house outside that I'd blue taped. He then proceeded to pick at it an throw the pieces down on the ground including the tape and tell me that's just how natural stone is and that a-lot of it is going to fall off but at some it will stop on its own.
Regarding the cracks he decided to reprimand me about the cracks in the mortar verses cracks in the brick and how I should know the difference, and then chuckled.
None of this funny to me, he then let me know it was funny to him.
That's when he was asked to leave the property and I contacted DRHorton customer support to advise them of what happened and for them to send a professional to come back out, obviously not him, and listen to my concerns and discuss my options for repairs.
I received an e-mail back from Erika Colunga who is from the DFW East Customer Service 2 that she would forward my e-mail to Kevin's manager.
48 hours later I called to find out what is happening and after 4 transferred I was advised that I would have to to take the matter up with Kevin because my claim is still assigned to him or to e-mail his manager Renee Chacon at [protected]@DRHorton.com for a resolution.

Desired outcome: I would like a professional, not Kevin, to come and discuss and view my warranty concerns with dignity and basic common courtesy

D.R. Horton Mold in master bathroom shower

This has issue has been going on for months. We have sent two warranty issues in, on this matter. The shower in our master bedroom has mold in one corner, coming up from underneath the shower, we filled out a warranty form, and they sent a guy out. He just wanted to cover it up. He never got back with us. After waiting, I filed another warranty claim for the same issue, and another man came out, said he someone would be getting back with us. Never heard from anyone.
This is a brand new home, not even a year old.

D.R. Horton Plot plan shows only 3 trees however they have left the back 40 feet uncleared and ungraded

From beginning we expressed that we preferred no trees in backyard however would accept the 3 show on plot plan. It has been like because we said something they have intentionally left the back rear of lot full of trees and underbrush and ungraded. The back half of the lot I will be basically a drainage pond and mosquito infestation. The more we expressed concerns seems the more they have pushed back. We even offered additional money. Yet, they "say" they will speak to a manager about it and then they come back with either "yea the trees need to stay" or "it's a natural wooded area".
These guys act like they the only people in the construction business and everyone else are idiots. They even talk to you like it too.
Well I have a tremendous amount of experience and can honestly say their dog and pony show is BS.
Their sales people are more comparable to a used car sales person. They don't care about the customer relationship. They care about the sale only. Get them under contract and the field Ops team will basically crush the buyer with yes I will ask and sorry no we can't do that answers. There is no real questions being asked. It's a farce thus far.
I was warned that DR Horton would screw me. I guess they were right.
How can I speak to someone with DRH who actually cares about the buyer who is making quite honestly the largest investment of their life. It's not a car guys.

D.R. Horton hoa declarant

My name is Phil Nehring ‘, I live at 489 Rye Creek Circle in Bluffton, SC 29909. This week on Tuesday November 10, 2020 We had our annual HOA meeting, Before this meeting was we received a letter from DR Horton, who is still the DECLARANT of our development, Mill Creek at Cypress Ridge. DR Horton raised our HOA fee from $235/ month to $273/ month, their explanation at the meet was a joke, All we receive for our dues, is access to pools, a community enter, lawn service, was twice a year power wash now only once, A gate that has never worked; and some other BS. We were to have been a 243 build out, 86 homes are built and lived in, Our sister HOA organization pays$123 & $204: for the same services.
Every HOA member had no vote against this increase, every homeowner signed a petition against the increase, but carried no weight,
What the DECLARANT says, is LAW, Rumors are its going to go up again to$304/ month. How do we fight these increases? They are showing these increases down our throat with no say, we were advertised as a 55 over community and was changed. There are lot of retired families 55 and over living here, including me will not be able to afford this increase!

Do we have any legal recourse?
In short DR Horton is a scam company, there is no reason to raise our HOA rates to that of a car payment, And I see no end in site,
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated,

TAKE IT FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE ALREADY BROUGHT A D.R HORTON HOUSE. NO AND I MEAN NO ONE IF THEY ARE HONEST CAN TELL YOU IT WAS NOT BUILT BY PEOPLE WHO DID A CRAPPY JOB AND THE MATERIALS THEY USE IS CHEAP CHEAP AND STILL CHEAPER. AS FOR A GRASS LAWN GOOD LUCK GETTING IT. I AM OUT $2800 FOR A YARD I HAD TO PUT IN MYSELF. I AM 74 YEARS OLD AND HAD TO LAY SOD IN BACK YARD OR WALK THROUGH MUD AND DIRT ALL THE TIME. MY CONTRACT SAID THEY WOULD LEVEL AND SEED THE BACK YARD. HA HA THEY LEFT TRASH DIRT THAT CAME OFF THE FARM LAND SO I HAD ALL KINDS OF VEGETABLES GROWING AND HAD SQUASH GROWING OFF THE BACK SLIDEING DOOR. REQUESTED D.R.HORTON REIMBURSE ME JUST FOR THE SOD, NOT ANY LABOR. HE REFUSES AND HAS THE COURT SYSTEM ON HIS SIDE. HE THINKS I SHOULD JUST FORGET IT. HE IS A CHEAP CORNER CUTTING BUILDER. SO EVERYBODY THAT SEE THIS TAKE MY ADVICE AND RUN FOR THE HILLS AND DO NOT BUY A D.R.HORTON HOUSE. SIGN NO PAPERS UNTIL YOU HAVE GONE THROUGH HOUSE WITH A FINE TOOTH COMB AND THEN HAVE EVERY LITTLE THING FIXED BEFORE SETTLEMENT. HORTON IS IN IT JUST FOR THE MONEY AND TO HAVE HIS NAME STUCK ON AS COMMUNITIES AS HE CAN. AFTER I BROUGHT MY HOUSE I FOUND OUT THAT THE PEOPLE IN JACKSONVILLE NORTH CAROLINA HAD A MULTITUDE EXPENSIVE LAW SUIT AGAINEST HORTON FOR HOUSES THAT HAD LIFE ALTERING DAMAGE FOR THE RESIDENTS. SO THINK REAL HARD BEFORE YOU JUMP FROM SOMEONE WHO BELEIVE WHAT THAT SAID ABOUT FIXING THINGS. JUST GOT 2 THINGS FIXED AFTER ONE YEAR AND 4 DAY.

There should be ByLaws which should have a maximum percentage on how much the HOA fees can be raised even with a vote.
It’s unfortunate that you are this early in the build out and you are even paying dues of your current. It’s not uncommon for the builder to have to carry the burden until the majority of the build out is occupied and can than be transferred to the HomeOwners with a vote as well. The builder should not have the legal right to cause HomeOwners to financial amenities unfinished and marketing their sale.

D.R. Horton Contract terminated once I started asking questions

I went under contract with D.R. Horton Express Homes, Travis Ranch - Forney, TX division on January 18, 2020. I signed all contract agreement documents and paid $750.00 in earnest money. My new home was set to close in 60 days. The house is currently under construction and I have made weekly visits to check the progress. On April 28, 2020, I did my weekly visit and noticed that the house color was slightly different from what was discussed. I then went home to review my contract and reached out to the sales associate to provide the Designer Color Guide to cross reference. The associate did not respond to my email. I then sent a private Facebook message to Horton's company page asking if someone could give me the color guide. I was told that I needed to reach out to the builder. I asked again with no response from associate Anthony Nguyen. Therefore, I submitted an online customer care inquiry on the Corporate website and asked for a color guide. I was contacted and advised that the Corporate office does not keep color guides as this is set directly with each builder/division and they should be able to provide the information. The associate and builder might have taken offense to me going to their Corporate office, however as I buyer I feel I have a right to ask questions. On May 5, 2020, the in - house lender (DHI) sends an email that I no longer qualify for the home, although we ran my final credit report and I was given a final approval on April 17, 2020. The lender stated that they have another program if I were interested, but it would require a second lien on the home. I then replied, and included my realtor and sales associate asking the following: 1.) Lender - how would the second lien affect me and how much would I owe back if the home was later sold. 2.) Sales associate - Anthony, since I no longer qualify for the non-repayment loan, would I receive my earnest money back if I decided not to move forward with new program with lien? Anthony responded that he was not responsible for earnest money returns and I needed to contact Corporate as they may keep a portion. I then spoke with (Marcey F.) lender and she went through the details of the new program. On Thursday, May 6, 2020, I agreed and accepted the terms for the new loan program and doc-u-signed all required documents. The next day, May 7, 2020, sales associate Anthony sent me a doc-u-sign document requesting for me to cancel my contract. I declined signature and included the following reason - I did not request to cancel my contract I simply wanted to know my options since qualifications has changed. I am moving forward with the purchase of the home. Hours later Anthony sends a second request for me to cancel my contract and I respond with the same previous reason. I then send Anthony a direct email advising that I am moving into the house under the new program and to please stop sending cancellation request. I close by saying to contact me by phone to keep miscommunication down. On Monday, May 11, 2020 I receive a letter from a new person at Horton, Shari Brickman. She provided a PDF letter and advised that the letter would be sent in certified mail same day. The notice was a contract termination and that read "Our records indicate that you signed the Contract on January 18, 2020 but have decided not to continue the purchase of the property. Therefore, the contract has been cancelled." If you feel this is in error, please contact our sales associate. I replied less than 10 minutes later, copying my realtor, sales associate, lender and builder that this was an error and I was moving forward on the home. I also included a screenshot of the email I sent to Anthony on May 8, 2020 to stop sending me a request to cancel form. No one responded back to my email, so I reached out to Corporate. I received a call back from Lindsay Linehan, who states she was Anthony's manager. She asked for my side of the story and I provided all information included in this notice. I told her I have every correspondence and I never requested to cancel. If she had a document that states otherwise to please send it to me to review. She then agreed that there was miscommunication. She then asked are you are still approved to buy a house. I answered yes and notified her that I had signed all revision loan term agreements. She stated that the loan had been cancelled by Anthony 100% on their end and she would speak with him and call me back. She did not call back, so I reached out to my realtor today. He contacted Anthony via text and Anthony responded that D.R. Horton has cancelled my contract and will not reissue due to complaints made to Corporate. My realtor tried to resolve the issue, but Anthony states my home that I have under contract and I did not request to cancel has been SOLD. I called and left a message for Anthony's manager with no response. I then sent Anthony an email requesting a letter from D.R. Horton that they have cancelled my contract and to provide reason. Anthony told me to use the letter that was issued on yesterday. I reminded him that the letter specifically stated that I requested to terminate the contract and agreement, which we all are aware is false and now we are in a Breach of Contract. I later received an email from Lindsay DFW East Area Sales, who provided a letter stating that a letter was sent out to me last week (which I haven't received) and it stated contract was already terminated because I reached out to customer care and my home has been sold. They basically messed up and cancelled the contract without reasoning and resold the home. Now, they want to place blame on me for asking questions regarding a major purchase. They want you to shut up, but spend your money. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS BUILDER! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

D.R. Horton, Covington GA attempted to bully me into using their affiliated business by telling me they would not accept my offer for a home if I didn’t use the preferred lender. Once I signed the Purchase Sales Agreement, I learned that tactic is illegal. They threatened to terminate my contract if I selected an outside closing attorney and wrote to Ray Keefer and Mr. Horton. They conceded and created an amendment. During the closing process, they withheld information from the closing attorney about whom to contact for corporate documents. Emails were sent to the Sales Agent, Shirley Johnson and she never responded to the attorney or the underwriter at Navy Federal Credit Union. They threatened to terminate the contract. Again, I copied Ray Keefer regarding Shirley Johnson’s failed to respond on May 24th. The contact for D.R. Horton’s Atlanta East Closing department was provided and closing was scheduled for Thursday, May 26th. Again the Sales Manager of Wildwood Community in Covington, threatened to cancel the contract. We were still receiving document closing. Everything was fast-tracked and Ohlson & Medlock law firm pleaded to not terminate the contract. The closing date was moved from May 26 to May 31st. The wire instructions did not say the closing cost. $4431.73 had to in/house three days prior to closing. I had $28,000 in my bank account and plan to wire the money at closing. The day of closing at 9:40 AM, Shirley Johnson called and asking what time is the closing which was at 12 PM, May 31. She had forgotten to schedule the final walkthrough. I live an hour away from the new home and the new home is a slightly and hour from the new home. She asked if I could meet with the builder at 11:30. I emailed the attorney with Ray Keefer, Matilda Wallace, Shawn Tokanel and etc on copy to request a new closing time. The attorney office sent an email back saying they new the closing time and forwarded the email. The only appointment available was 4 PM. D.R. Horton’s. Angie Shields said that too late and funds needed to be in-house now. The final walkthrough was at 1:30. I left there heading to the attorney’s office. Traffic was horrible and were road closures everywhere. I contacted the attorney and she said to wire the closing costs immediately. I pulled over and attempted to wire the funds several times with different error messages each time and I continued to call Bank of America. We were unsuccessful at wiring the funds but I got back in the road. My agent called and said they’re terminating the contract if all funds are not in-house by two. I called the lender made sure she transferee the funds and authorized the sale. When I arrivedd at the attorney’s office I continue to try and wire the funds, sent screenshots of my account. The lender had verified funds were in the account but Angie Shields had already terminated the contract. The house was placed back on the market the same day for 540k more. Matilda said she would not sale the home to me and suggested I look in other communities. I reached out to Ray and Angie, that night and following day, I also learned that I could only wire funds from a desktop. Bank of America does not support the transaction using a mobile phone. I wired the money anyway, hoping they would change their mind but Matilda said no. I sent an email to drhorton@drhorton.com June 4th. The response say thank you for contacting Mr Horton the email was being forwarded to the executive management team and the executive management team will investigate. I spoke my attorney through Legal Shield who’s law firm name is Deming and Parker, the senior partners agreed that D.R. Horton had breach the contract as did my closing agent Ohlsen & Medlock. They have referred my case to a litigation attorney. I am hoping for a legal injunction, preventing the sale of the home while in litigation or from the State Attorney General while investigations are ongoing, and specific performance to rewrite contract with same terms and conditions.

D.R. Horton builder does not stand behind their product

On 11 February 2020 I spoke with Spencer, DR Horton's customer service interface in Oklahoma City, regarding two issues with a new house I purchased there last July.

The first issue concerned a leak due to an improperly sealed vent stack on the roof, which led to interior damage during a heavy rain when the house was still vacant. My local property manager saw it as an urgent problem and immediately repaired it themselves, even before telling me.

The second issue concerns a broken garage door that, according to the property manager's vendor, was installed incorrectly.

Regarding the first issue, DR Horton's position is that they would have repaired the damage if notified of it but they will not reimburse the cost of someone else doing the work. To that, I argue that the problem was undeniably caused by shoddy work on DR Horton's part, the property manager was reacting to what they perceived as an emergency, and therefore DR Horton should honor their warranty.

Regarding the second issue, DR Horton claims the damage was probably caused by the tenant trying to open the door while it was locked. The property manager's vendor states there is no evidence of that.

I live out of the state and cannot verify matters for myself, but I know from long experience with my property manager that they are reliable and professional. I indicated to Spencer that I saw a pattern in what DR Horton is doing, i.e., his role for them is to dodge responsibility.

This leads me to suspect that DR Horton's warranty is worthless. I have purchased other houses from them in the past, which never had construction defects, but this time I got a lemon. And since DR Horton does not stand behind their product, I will remember this experience next time I am buying, and next time other buyers talk to me about builders.

D.R. Horton excessive moisture throughout home

I contacted DR Horton on or about October 22, 2018 before my warranty expired on December 2018, about the excessive moisture throughout my home. DR Horton sent a representative to my home and acknowledged the excessive dampness in my clothes. They repeatedly sent different companies, from HVAC companies, someone to inspect the window installations, another DR Horton representative that had worked with me in the past and the HVAC people installed a vent in the bedroom closet. At the time of installation the Fogel Service representative said it would not solve the problem and it hasn't, in fact that dampness has gotten worse and has moved to other areas in the home including clothes in dresser drawers. I literally have to drive my clothese before wearing and towels before using.

I purchased Breathe Green Charcoal Bags and placed throughout my home; placed hanging DampRid bags in my closet and have replaced repeatedly; and placed DampRid Hi-Capacity Moisture Absorber buckets throughout my home and have replaced twice.

On April 29, 2019, I sent DR Horton an email of frustation. DR Horton never responded. I employed Southern Foundation and Crawl Space to inspect my home on or around May 28, 2019. Southern Foundation and Crawl Space acknowledged a severe moisture problem and recommended the home be air sealed to stop the Stack Effect and that the carpet be removed to determine whether cracks in the foundation may be the cause. I submitted the report to DR Horton. They never responded. I hired an attorney on June 4, 2019 and he sent a letter to DR Horton on June 10, 2019. DR Horton Counsel, Cammy Kennedy responded on June 18, 2019. Cammy Kennedy requested addition information. I hired One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning. The technician ran multiple tests and visually inspected the home. It was determined the cause to be leacking duct work causing the house to draw in humidity from outside the attic. The Technician recommended the sealing of the complete system and out with Aeroseal and if the humidity persist, a dehumidifier may be needed. On July 10, 2019, my Attorney responded to Cammy Kennedy with the information I provided. On July 30, 2019, after not receiving a response from Cammy Kennedy, my Attorney sent an email to Cammy Kennedy stating that DR Horton requested additional documentation and asked if DR Horton had reviewed and what action if any, DR Horton is prepared to take. On August 5, 2019, my Attorney sent me an email stating that he did not received a response from DR Horton. On August 8, 2019, I sent an email to Cammy Kennedy detailing my efforts to resolve the moisture issue in my home that is at 68%. It was my attempt to resolve this issue when I return from vacation. As of today, Cammy Kennedy has never responded. And the moisture persists in my home. Shortly after returning from vacation, my home was damaging on September 5, 2019 by a tornado, causing significant damage. My home has been repaired. While it is my intent to solve the problem as it is causing me a lot of money to dry my clothes and replace the DampRid products, I had a deductible with my home owners insurance. Further, I have a medical condition that is in the process of being diagnosed as a result of a battery of tests, labs and medical procedures.

Before the year is over and the work done, I will file a claim against DR Horton for reimbursement for all of my out-of-pocket expenses to resolve the problem that they acknowledged existed and refused to take the necessary actions to resolved. They simply stopped responding.

D.R. Horton Front neighborhood fencing, retention pond, and light pole.

The front fence to the neighborhood is sagging, light pole in front of house is crooked, and backyard retention pond is blocked.
Belle Maison subdivision in Youngsville, LA. The front fence presentation to the neighborhood is sagging making the subdivision look very rundown and cheap in appearence. The retention pond in the back yard has dirt upstruction growth hindering drainage and causing stagnation breeding mosquitos. The light pole in front of my house is the only crooked one in the neighborhood. All other lights were straightened.
