I had so many issues with Desert Wide Properties Inc when they were managing my property. It was a total mess, and now that I've taken it back, it's in a HORRIBLE state. The property is damaged, and some appliances are GONE. On top of that, they're charging me for things that aren't even in my contract. I've asked for meetings or conversations to sort things out, but they just ignore me. I really regret trusting them with my property. They're a bunch of scammers, fraudsters, and they don't care about anything. You can't trust them at all. If they don't start communicating and resolving these issues, I'll have to take legal action.

Desert Wide Properties is so unfair and takes advantage of people when they move out. I was in property management for 7 years and never saw a company be so mean and add such crazy fees like Desert Wide Properties. My wife and I only stayed in one of their rentals for a few months, but we had to break our lease because of a job in another state. I know there are fees for breaking a lease, but when I asked for a breakdown of the move-out fees, I couldn't believe it: -They want $10.95 to replace a lightbulb, which should be normal wear and tear. -They want $16.32 for a dirty HVAC filter, even though we replaced it ourselves and there were extra filters in the garage. That's also normal wear and tear. -They want $220 for curtains! How can curtains be that expensive?! We left the curtains in the house, but took them down so our kids wouldn't ruin them. After arguing with Desert Wide, they agreed to drop the fee, but they still want to charge us $32 to hang them back up (it only took a couple of minutes). -They want $313.34 for cleaning! We left the house really clean and spent the whole afternoon cleaning before we left. I asked for an invoice and a detailed description of the work they did, but they said they don't have an invoice and can't give any details. I've used cleaning services before and never paid anything close to what they're asking. If anyone is looking for a rental, I suggest looking somewhere else! We've tried talking to Desert Wide Properties about the fees, and they have been a little nicer in some areas, but overall they don't really care and don't want to help. I guess I'll have to take them to court since they won't admit how crazy the fees are.

I moved out of a rental home at ***. I lived there for 6 years. Wednesday, September 22, at 11:20pm, I dropped off an envelope at the Desertwide Properties office. The envelope contained the *** CCRs, 2 garage door openers, 2 house keys, 1 mailbox keys, 1 unknown key. On the front of the envelope, it had my forwarding address of *** 85212. The move out inspection was completed Saturday, October 2, by Jazmin. I have attempted to resolve this with them multiple times, have heard "sorry we're short staffed", and have Ive left multiple messages. I called on October 15th, Oct 26th, Nov 18th, and today, Nov 19th. When I requested to speak with a manager today, I was transferred to voicemail. I called back and asked to not be transferred to voicemail. I was again sent to voicemail. They just automatically transfer my calls to voicemail when I attempt to call now. As of today, November 19 (58 days later) I still have not received my Security Deposit and/or a reconciliation of accounts.
