Desert Sports & Fitness I went to the gym and the person working there told me I didn't have a contract

I went to the gym and the person working there told me I didn't have a contract. I was trying to let them know that I couldn't reach anyone before the quarantine lockdown started, so they wouldn't keep taking money out of my bank account. They gave me an email to contact, but it didn't work. I got a couple of emails saying my membership was frozen because of the pandemic, and then another one saying they would open again on May 13, 3020. They need 60 days notice to close out my account, but there's no contact info on their website or anywhere else to do that.

Desert Sports & Fitness I tried Desert Sports & Fitness for a month, which was free

I tried Desert Sports & Fitness for a month, which was free. They asked for a checking account, but I don't have one because I get paid with a debit card. COVID made it so I couldn't go for the last two weeks of the trial. I didn't know my membership was active after COVID was over because they didn't tell me. They only take payment from a checking account, which I don't have. I talked to lawyers who told me that the company doesn't have to tell me about billing. I didn't use the gym after the trial. When I talked to someone from Desert Sports & Fitness, they said they wouldn't talk about it.

Desert Sports & Fitness Last year, my insurance only covered half of the gym membership cost, so I paid $27.50 every month from my investment account

Last year, my insurance only covered half of the gym membership cost, so I paid $27.50 every month from my investment account. This year, my insurance covered the whole cost, which I discussed with the gym representative. However, on January 2, they withdrew $27.50 from my account. I talked to the representative, and they promised to refund me directly or through my account. It's been six months, and I still haven't received my refund despite multiple contacts. Due to COVID19, I haven't been able to reach them personally, and my last call failed due to phone issues. I can't find the corporate number or billing service number. Can you help me out?

Desert Sports & Fitness I had an account with Desert Sports & Fitness, but when I wanted to cancel my membership on July 28, ASF Payment Solutions (who handles

I had an account with Desert Sports & Fitness, but when I wanted to cancel my membership on July 28, ASF Payment Solutions (who handles the payments) said I still owed for July. I told Linda at ASF that I shouldn't be charged for July because all gyms in AZ were closed due to Covid, but she said it didn't matter because Desert Sports didn't tell them not to charge during the lockdown. Then they charged me for August too, even though the gym was still closed. Desert Sports finally reopened on August 28, but I had already moved to Glendale, AZ. They kept charging me even after my 60-day notice, and I told them I would pay for September but not for July and August when the gym was closed. Then I got a letter from Aldous & Associates attorneys at Law (a debt collector) saying I owed $105. I don't think I should have to pay for a service I couldn't use because of Covid. Other gyms were affected too.

Desert Sports & Fitness I was a member of Desert Sports & Fitness on Pantano Rd

I was a member of Desert Sports & Fitness on Pantano Rd. for 6 months in 2019. I renewed my membership in January , which I knew was non-refundable. I went to 3 classes in January before they told me to stop coming because of COVID. I'm 73 and have health problems, so I'm high risk. The gym had to close because of the state rules. When they opened again, they kept charging my credit card every month. I told them many times that I couldn't come back because of COVID, but they didn't stop charging me until I stopped my credit card. I don't know when I can go back to any gym. I told the staff many times, but they didn't do anything. They charged me $99.00 in February , May , June , and July . I want a credit for those months. They told me the contract was for 6 months, but when I looked at it, it said it was for 1 year from January to January . When I asked about it, they said it was a mistake.
