DepositPhotos Deposit Photos Great Value

As an author and occasional blogger, I've looked for a site that would provide me with stock photos for covers, writing presentations and blog posts at a cost that wouldn't break the bank. Deposit Photos has various plans and I found just the right plan that was a much better deal than the leading stock photo sites. I'm enjoying using the amazing images and have already redone my book covers with images downloaded from Deposit Photos.

DepositPhotos Fast & Furious service

In this era of World Wide Web, Depositphotos is considered one of the biggest photo stock that I have used plenty of time. All its hard work is truly appreciated round the clock and round the globe. I have never seen such like photo stock ubiquitous&omnipresent. Depositephotos service is as quick as the flash, in addition, I did not face any kind of problem with payment and shipping as well. I am going to use its service again and again in the future.

DepositPhotos Ease of Use and Untility

I am putting the finishing touches to the first of three books I am writing and because I am self publishing the cover was an afterthought... until the need posed an impediment to my schedule. My cover design includes an original painting in part with a number pieces as photos from DepositPhotos to be PhotoShopped into the finished product.

I have absolutely no time for expansive searches nor the patience for complex purchasing agreements; DepositPhotos became a one stop, search and shop solution.

DepositPhotos Excellent customer support, selection, licensing, and price

Had a lot of licensing questions. They were extremely thorough and made sure to answer questions with real answers instead of just sending me a link to the license that I read hundreds of times (dropped adobe stock photos because they kept giving me vague answers on license and their support really sucked in giving me clear answers that made sense). Overall really happy with the deposit photos selection, licensing terms, and pricing. The library also seems larger. And again, the customer support here really made the difference.

DepositPhotos I signed up for the trial service and didn't end up

I signed up for the trial service and didn't end up downloading anything. I woke up this morning to go and cancel it but they had already charged for the services and the site says no refunds so I was like oh great, just paid $60 for images I don't want.

So I emailed them anyway and explained how I hadn't even used the trial and if they could refund it and they said YES! As a graphic/web designer when I DO need that many images I will certainly be back. I really didn't expect that kind of customer service so I want to make sure to give them a loving review in return for their kindness! :)

DepositPhotos They just don't understand

Is the best thing I can say... Second thoughts SCAM!
We have actually been a happy client of Depositphotos for over a year. Just ordered photos on a subscription basis $90 per month.

THEN... the humans at the office called me! The people there cant speak much English and once they find out you have a credit card "RAPE YOU ROTTEN"!... The sales team talk at you for 30 minutes and will NOT LET YOU SPEAK! You just have to listen or hang up. They talk over the top of you... you just want them off the line, and next thing you know $60 is taken off your credit card.

We screamed at them for a good hour to get it reversed... countless stupid arguments and
Hyperthetical debates. Apparently one of the head "ARGUERS" has two degrees we were told. I think he must have been head of his school debating team. Money was refunded but then our entire paid for subscription cancelled.

More time wasted... more abuse... yelling at them and finally we suggested if they didn't refund the money and reinstate our account till it expired we would reverse all our credit transactions.

That got them moving... reinstated and money refunded.

Best thing with these guys. If anyone rings up slam the phone down. They have a great product and if it wasn't for the staff. I would def. Use them again. Staff are bad/poor attitude and like debates and arguments... they must get a lot of practise! THis should be a case book for THE WORST SALES CALLS EVER...

As a happy customer... they ring you... piss you off... talk to you in pigeon English... then charge unauthorised charges on your credit card. If you are smart you catch them and will spend the rest of the day $#*!ing to get $60 back... I wonder how many people just can't be bothered and have better things to do. Not a professional way to earn money. The principal seems to be, if customers do not demand and fight for their overcharged fees they will keep it as profit.

Great company product, works well... Damning service and annoyed the hell out of us with their pestering poor English and putting things on our credit card without authority. This company would do better to leave SALES ALONE... they do more harm than good!

I will say goodbye at the end of this month when my subscription runs out.

Strange organization. Went from very good to plain ODD!

DepositPhotos DepositPhotos Subscription Service Review: Double Charged and Poor Customer Service

I've been using DepositPhotos for a few months now and I gotta say, I've had some issues with their subscription service. A couple of months ago, they charged me a day earlier than they were supposed to, which was a bit annoying but I let it slide. However, this month things got a bit more complicated.

When I tried to download a picture, it said that my subscription was up and that I needed to purchase another one. So, I did. But then, two days later, they charged me for another subscription automatically. What the heck? How could I be prompted to buy another subscription and then have my "first" subscription renewed automatically? That just doesn't make any sense.

I know that they renew subscriptions automatically, which is usually fine with me. But being charged twice and then having to deal with their customer service was a nightmare. When I tried to dispute the charges and get a refund, I was given the runaround by two different customer service reps who told me two different stories. It wasn't until I threatened to initiate a chargeback with my bank that they finally took some action to make things right.

I don't appreciate being taken advantage of and then being given a hard sales pitch to keep both subscriptions ("You've been with us for so long, it seems like it would just be best that you have two subscriptions" - seriously?). This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and I'm already looking for another stock photo source. I can't deal with this kind of hassle and confusion anymore.

DepositPhotos DepositPhotos Review: A Frustrating Experience with Subscription and Payment Issues

So, I had some issues with DepositPhotos about a year ago, but they eventually fixed the problem, so I thought I'd give them another chance. I signed up for a monthly subscription that allows me to download five images per day. However, this turned out to be a BIG MISTAKE! Every few days, I can't access my allotted number of images. If I don't download all five images, I lose them. The first time it happened, I let it go, but it keeps happening every few days. When they do give me extra credits to make up for the loss, they don't notify me, so I don't know I have those credits until I check my invoices and find out that the credits have already expired!

Another issue that someone else complained about is the payment issue. It doesn't matter if you deselect the recurring subscription with Paypal, DepositPhotos keeps taking funds anyway. The only way I could make it stop was to shut down the use of that credit card with PayPal completely to keep DepositPhotos from taking funds.

It's ridiculous that stopping a subscription is the subscriber's problem! I have other subscriptions through PayPal, and the companies bill one month at a time. There's always an option to renew automatically or manually, which is good business. DepositPhotos is still in business only because their subscribers have no way to stop them from stealing their money without a whole lot of grief and frustration. It seems like rip-off is their business model.

Overall, I'm not happy with DepositPhotos. They have some serious issues that need to be addressed, and I don't think I'll be giving them another chance. It's just not worth the hassle and frustration.

DepositPhotos DepositPhotos Review: Misleading Licensing Terms and Business Scam

So, I decided to give DepositPhotos a try because their prices seemed pretty good. However, I quickly realized that their prices were only so low because they're trying to pull a fast one on businesses. It's pretty obvious that most people who are buying stock images are doing so for commercial purposes, but DepositPhotos seems to be pretending like that's not the case. I mean, just about every stock photo license out there allows for commercial use, so why would DepositPhotos be any different?

I read through their "standard license" and couldn't find anything that said the images couldn't be used for commercial purposes. Instead, it said that they couldn't be used for "non-retail" purposes, and even for retail purposes, they could be used as long as they weren't a major part of the work. So, I figured I was good to go and added some of their images to a few of the less important pages on my site.

But, within a week of signing up, I got an email from DepositPhotos trying to strong-arm me into signing up for their "business license." They claimed that their standard license was only for non-commercial use, and that I needed to upgrade if I wanted to use the images on my site. Of course, the business license was way more expensive than the standard license - like, ten times more expensive. It was pretty obvious that they were just trying to scam me out of more money.

So, I decided to cancel my plan and delete all of their images from my site. I'll just pay a little more to use one of their competitors who have similar plans for just about the same price, but without any of the commercial restrictions. Honestly, I'm so annoyed with DepositPhotos that I'm tempted to download the same images from their competitors' websites, just to spite them. It's not like the images are exclusive to DepositPhotos or anything.

Overall, I would definitely not recommend DepositPhotos to anyone. They're just trying to scam businesses out of more money, and their licensing terms are super confusing and misleading. Save yourself the headache and go with one of their competitors instead.

DepositPhotos Unleashing the Power of Creativity: A Review of 'The War of Art' by Steven Pressfield

The photos I downloaded were great. However, I had some issues with the videos I downloaded.

So I asked customer service and they said it would take 24 hours to resolve. They came back with a very weak solution and again said another 24 hours.

I consider myself an incredibly patient and level headed person... but...

As I waited, I noticed a second charge on my card. It auto renewed. This feature was not clear and obvious when I signed up.

So I called and asked politely for a refund. The lady over the phone barely spoke English and said it was against their policy... so she couldn't refund me.

After arguing back and forth, I finally had to raise my voice and get assertive, which I hate to do to another human being, however... in this case... I literally had no choice.

The fact is, I would easily purchase more videos and photos if my issues were resolved... but...

Instead, I got the exact opposite. Horrible customer service from a company that only wants to keep charging my card instead of help a customer out.

What happened to providing great products and helping your customers?

In short, I rate this company a total scam with BS policies geared towards charging your credit card on auto renewal as much as possible.

It's disgusting how the customer service team treats you.

I reported the charges to my CC company and changed my account number because I do NOT feel safe leaving my CC with this kind of business.

DepositPhotos DepositPhotos Review: Fair Pricing for Non-Commercial Digital Art, but Beware of Business Account Emails

I'm a digital artist who likes to create art for fun and share it on social media. I use multiple stock images to bring my ideas to life and currently pay $30 a month for 30 images, which is a fair price for my usage. I don't sell my work or use it for commercial purposes, I just enjoy creating and sharing it with the digital art community.

One thing that bothers me is the constant emails from DepositPhotos claiming that I need to get a business account. I don't need one, and I just ignore them. I use multiple websites and pay for multiple subscriptions to ensure I have access to what I need. I've included an image I created using stock from DepositPhotos and another more famous stock website.

Sometimes my regular job gets in the way of my free time to create art, so I appreciate the unused downloads being carried over. I carefully read the licensing agreement and all of my usages fall under the standard license.

I've noticed that some people complain about being coerced into a business account, but I think this only happens when they've been caught using items in a commercial way as outlined in the agreement. Alternatively, the company may just spam every person who joins and downloads with an email to make them think it's required to get a business account. As an individual, I can ignore this, but it seems others potentially are shady in their claims and try to save a buck when they are using stock commercially.

DepositPhotos is wrong for attempting to make everyone think they need to pay more. Members need to actually read the licensing agreement as that is the legal fine print. Not a general claim on a website page for advertising purposes. Overall, I'm satisfied with my experience using DepositPhotos for my non-commercial digital art creations.

DepositPhotos Depositphotos' Valentine's Day Discount Offer: A Cautionary Tale

So, I recently got an email from Depositphotos on Valentine's Day offering me a 20% discount on their subscription. I usually buy images from different sites, and Depositphotos is one of them. So, I thought of taking advantage of this special offer. They gave me two options to purchase and receive my discount. One was to click on the link provided and enter a promo code, and the other was to click on a large green "20% discount icon," which they claimed would automatically apply my discount. I clicked on the green icon, and it took me to the subscription page where I could choose my subscription and proceed to the shopping cart. As I already had an account, it took me only two minutes to purchase.

After I pressed the "pay" button, I realized that the amount I paid did not add up to the 20% discount or even come close. So, I immediately contacted customer service, and they advised me that there was nothing they could do for me because I agreed to the payment amount. I told them that I trusted them that when I pressed the 20% discount icon, I would receive the 20% discount. So, it did not occur to me to do the math. They claimed it was my fault for not verifying the amount before I agreed to pay. I insisted that I followed the instructions provided, and I made the transaction only five minutes ago. I did not start using the service, so why couldn't they just make the correction for a frequent customer?

The customer service agent advised that a supervisor would contact me within 24 hours. But, 24 hours later, no one called me. So, I called them again and spoke with another agent. They pulled up my file and gave me the same response. When I asked if I could speak to a supervisor, he refused, advising that this was final.

I believe Depositphotos is trying to entice people to purchase with the hope that they won't do the math. This is their loss as, at the end of the month, I will take my business elsewhere. It's disappointing to see a company not taking responsibility for their mistake and not valuing their customers. I hope they improve their customer service and take responsibility for their actions in the future.

DepositPhotos DepositPhotos Customer Service is a Circus - Avoid Them Like the Plague!

This website, DepositPhotos, has some serious issues with their customer service. It's like a circus in there! My Mac's hard drive recently crashed and I lost everything, including all the photos I had paid for on various other sites like Shutterstock, iStockphoto, 123rf, Dreamstime, Fotolia, Getty Images, and even Photo Dune (Envato). I reached out to all of them in a polite and dignified manner, and all of them except DepositPhotos allowed me to redownload my lost images at no additional charge. I had a project with a deadline coming up and a lot of other expenses to cover, including a new hard drive that cost me a couple of hundred bucks. But DepositPhotos only offered me a measly 20% discount on my next purchase. Are you kidding me? I may not even make another purchase from them after this experience. It's so inconvenient that they couldn't let me redownload my purchases. I used to love their site until this "brilliant" experience with them. I didn't back up the images because I didn't think anything like this would happen since my hard drive seemed healthy. But unfortunately, I'll be taking my business to iStock, 123rf, Dreamstime, and all the others. If this isn't resolved, I may even print out their logo and use it as toilet paper because this site is just fraudulent fecal matter, my friends. And their customer service? Don't even get me started. They're like robots! So, if you have a lot of money to waste on things you've already paid for, then go ahead and use DepositPhotos. But if you're like me and you want to save some money, then I suggest you look elsewhere to buy stock photos, vectors, and footage. Literally every single item on their site is also on most of the other stock media sites. Don't waste your money on these guys and avoid them like the plague. I'm pretty sure they'd make more money as a reusable toilet paper organization. ;)

DepositPhotos Beware of Depositphotos' Affiliate Program: A Potential Scam

I have been a loyal user of Depositphotos for many years, using it to purchase graphics and images for my various projects. However, recently I have become suspicious of their new affiliate program.

(SCAM #1)

When I signed up for the program and invited my friends, everything seemed fine. But when I tried to convert my credits to cash, I was told that my business model was not acceptable and my account was blocked. I was confused and frustrated, as I had followed all the terms and conditions outlined on their website.

(SCAM #2)

After numerous phone calls and emails, I received a message from their support team accusing me of fraudulent activities and terminating our cooperation. This was shocking, as I had not done anything wrong and had not withdrawn any money from my account.

(SCAM #3)

To make matters worse, I discovered that Depositphotos requires users to have separate accounts for selling, buying, and using the affiliate system. This seems unnecessary and confusing, and I wonder if it is just a way for them to make it harder for users to withdraw their funds.

In conclusion, I strongly advise against using Depositphotos' affiliate program. It seems like a scam designed to trap users and prevent them from accessing their hard-earned money. Stick to using their regular services for purchasing graphics and images, but be wary of any new programs they introduce in the future.

DepositPhotos Mixed Experience with Depositphotos: Great Product, Terrible Sales Team

I have been using Depositphotos for over a year now and I have to say, it's been a mixed experience. On one hand, their product is great and works well. However, their sales team is a different story. I received a call from them and it was not a pleasant experience. The person on the other end of the line had a poor grasp of English and was very pushy. They talked over me and wouldn't let me speak. Before I knew it, they had charged $60 to my credit card without my authorization.

I was furious and spent a good hour arguing with them to get the charge reversed. It was a frustrating experience, with lots of hypothetical debates and stupid arguments. I was told that one of the head "arguers" had two degrees, but that didn't make the situation any better. Eventually, they refunded the money, but then cancelled my entire subscription.

I had to spend even more time yelling at them to get my subscription reinstated. It was a nightmare. The staff had a bad attitude and seemed to enjoy arguing and debating. It was like they had a lot of practice doing it. I wouldn't recommend talking to them if you can avoid it. If you do have to talk to them, be prepared for a frustrating experience.

Despite the poor sales experience, I have to say that Depositphotos is a good company with a great product. If it wasn't for the staff, I would definitely use them again. However, their sales team is so bad that I will be saying goodbye to them when my subscription runs out at the end of the month.

It's a shame that such a good company has such a bad sales team. They seem to be more interested in making money than providing good customer service. If you catch them charging you without authorization, be prepared to spend a lot of time fighting to get your money back. I wonder how many people just give up and let them keep the money.

In conclusion, Depositphotos is a strange organization. They went from being very good to plain odd. If they could fix their sales team, they would be a great company to work with. As it stands, I can't recommend them.

DepositPhotos Unprofessional and Sneaky: My Experience with Depositphotos

I gotta say, I ain't too happy with Depositphotos. I had a couple of real bummers with 'em. First off, they got this sneaky auto-renew thing that they don't make clear. I ain't the only one who's had this problem, either. There's a whole bunch of folks who've complained to the Better Business Bureau about it. I had to do the same thing before they finally gave me a refund for the second month.

But that ain't even the worst part. My most recent subscription was supposed to go until June 18th. Now, I don't know about you, but when I hear "June 18th," I figure that means all day on the 18th. But nope, they went and made my account inactive at like 6:00 p.m. on the 18th. When I called 'em out on it, they said they were going by the exact time of day that I started my subscription. But there ain't no mention of that on their site, so how was I supposed to know? And the customer service rep I talked to was just plain rude. They don't know the first thing about how to treat a customer.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend Depositphotos to anyone. They're just not professional at all.

DepositPhotos Disappointing Experience with DepositPhotos.com: Trial Woes and Customer Service Frustrations

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with DepositPhotos.com. I signed up for their trial week and had to create a PayPal account just to get started. No biggie, I thought, it's just a trial.

But then I downloaded two photos and couldn't find them anywhere on my computer. I'm not a complete tech dummy, I swear, but I searched high and low and couldn't locate those darn images. What gives?

I tried downloading the same picture again, but still no luck. And now I'm down to only two credits. Ugh, so frustrating.

I attempted to reach out to their customer service via online chat, but no one was available. I even tried calling, but it went straight to voicemail. No thanks, I don't have time for that.

So I sent an email this morning, hoping for a quick response. But nope, still nothing.

Honestly, I'm starting to regret signing up for this service. It's been two hours of my time wasted and I'm over it. I should have done my research before jumping in. Lesson learned, I guess.
